Good morning everyone, I am new in the cat fish farming business and hope to open my farm in February. I need to do the re-circulatory pound system. Am using concrete pond. I wish to know if the business is sustaining , profitable and what I need in setting up the re-circulatory system. Right now I do not have enough cash to hire competent expert as one Mr Bolaji whom I contracted to help with the re-circulatory stuff ran away with my N110,000 since January 2012. I am in Ikorodu and will appreciate any information that can help me succeed. my number is 08025669642 or integrityfood@gmail.com. Am grateful to aratat limited who has even visited my farm. God bless you sir.

ogbongenet: QUAIL FARMIN…….QUICK CASH……

Quail farming is an uncommon farming business in Nigeria, but the few people that have embraced it are not only smiling to banks, they are also enjoying both the nutritional and health values derived from consuming it
Considering the large number of poultry farmers in Kaduna that have embraced quail farming, it is no doubt one booming farming business that is gradually taking over chicken poultry business in most parts of the north. The high rate of returns and low cost of investment as well rearing them are some of the reasons many farmers are fast resorting to quail farming. In Zaria alone, there are more than 50 farms where quail are reared and sold. The fact that the birds grow and reach maturity stage faster and lay eggs within two months, compared with the six-month maturity period of chickens for whether egg-laying or consumption, attract them to farmers who see the business as a better and more sustainable investment to explore.
From market surveys both in Zaria and Kaduna, a female quail bird sells for N500 while the male goes for between N250 and N300. Its speckled eggs go for between N20 and N25. The bird’s high nutritional and market value encourage many chicken poultry farmers to abandon the business for quail farming. The NEWS gathered that these financial and health benefits, especially the high and quick returns on investment, largely explained farmers’ rush into the business in Jos where it first started, and in Kano, Kaduna and other states in the north where it is booming now. But it is very difficult for people in the southwest who wish to go into quail farming due to the problem of getting quail chicks for starting. Good news the problem has now been solved because you can easily get it now in Ibadan. I started the business just three months ago but glory be to God I earn nothing less than 4000 Naira every day.
BENEFIT OF QUAIL FARMING
It is very easy to maintain
It is not capital intensive compare to poultry farming
High return in a very short time (quail start laying at 45 day old)
It require small space
Quail egg are now recommended in the hospital which makes a good business
Here are some additional benefits you might get from eating quail eggs.:
* acquire a strong immunity system and improve metabolism.
* contain important quantity of calcium easy to assimilate.
* help healing gastritis, ulcer.
* increase hemoglobin level, remove heavy metals, toxins from blood.
* help in the treatment of tuberculosis, asthma,.
* diabetes
* contain ovomucoid protein, used in the production of anti allergic drugs.
* help inhibit cancerous growth.
* help eliminate and remove stones from liver, kidneys and bladder.
* stimulate intellectual activity.
* may accelerate recuperation after blood stroke and help strengthen heart muscle.
* are a powerful stimulant of intimate potency. They nourish the prostrate gland with useful substances, phosphorus, proteins and vitamins and therefore help restore intimate potency.

Romance / Re: How Much Info About Your Partner, Can You Share With Your Family? by integrityfood: 1:22pm On Nov 06, 2012
I feel the best approach is to keep what is private to both of you in perfect confidential status. If your family finds out on their own, then you have not betrayed your partner who divulge information on the bases of trust n love. However, if you are confuse at any level of your relationship about vital factor, you can confide in someone you know has verifiable integrity, goodwill and objective personality whether your religious leader or family member, friends etc but never say too much to an outsider. i know of a lady who was married as a virgin asking her father if oral action is ok with her husband. The father being a pastor advised her never to do it again, that marriage is on fire today. so be reasonable and moderate in all you do. just in case you have not married her yet, never take for granted, matters relating to attitude; it subs in marriage but a changed person stands a chance of proving me wrong but most people who ignores this advise have regretted.
Family / Re: Is Low Self Esteem A Result Of Parental Upbringing Or Personality? by integrityfood: 6:47pm On Nov 01, 2012
I feel we must make clear distinctions between self esteem and pride! Personally, I have experience both environment where people treated you with high sense of dignity and some section with absolute scorn & disdain. The society, the family and exposure, privileges / social status including your religious believe has a role to play. given the rate of the massive decline in self esteem among even graduates, I suggest that we need a finishing school to help with remodeling people those with defective self worth.

Just to add, i feel that a person articulation, enhance social/financial/educational status with good exposure are vital ingredients of sound self esteem. personally, I usually feel very uncomfortable if i ran into friends / colleagues not properly dressed or not able to power on my articulation at the level i feel reasonale. Interestingly, I have overcome this fear now.

most bad wives are from such homes where parent refuses to discipline their children perhaps to pretend their kids are better or well mannered than their neighbours. bad husbands too are produce in such homes. parent must act decisively about their kids future
Family / Re: PLS TALK TO US, We Are About To Break Up Cos Of Parents by integrityfood: 9:41am On Oct 23, 2012
I reckon that you are even lucky that you have not married her yet before the parent come showing their true colours!!! A wicked man can kill her daughter to set you up for life. be wise. God will not blame you for leaving her cos she is not your wife but people will blame you for ignoring vital signs. Your girl is not your wife but someone's daughter!!! be true to her and give them a timeline to decide and tell your girl to join you in prayer and fasting for god's will to be done. listen to God afterwards and act accordingly.
Romance / Re: Signs He Loves You Even If He Doesn’t Say It Out Loud by integrityfood: 9:25am On Oct 23, 2012
The list look ok but a play boy can do all of that yet has no one atom of love for the girl. i feel that there is an impulse that awakens action faster when a man/woman is lusting than real love. someone who needs to just get in-between would do all of that and work away. my advise is for ladies to be careful and never give out all your heart to a guy who has not acquire you yet to avoid heart break cos any thing is possible in love arena.

I thank everyone who has contributed. i appreciate your godly advises, suggestions and creative ideas for way forward. Some suggested that the mother-in-law should be banned from visiting. Considering the huge traditional & religious implication of such action, is it advisable? few also expressed concerns if the in-law was bankrolling my friend. the answer is that though the father in-law is a nice man but my friend is working! about your questions if there were no signs before marriage. Abraham maslow's motivational theory of hierarchy of needs makes it hard to completely understands human characters during courtship; you are a witness to this except you haven't dealt with human characters either at a family or on corporate level. As I said earlier, I hope to bring parties involve in this dispute to view these comments, advises and suggestion. Do you think it will inspire peace or cause more problem? Thanks for being a family

Thank you very much for all the creative ideas, godly advises and brilliant suggestions. I read where some people expressed concern about the in-laws' financing the family. though thankful to the supportive father in law, truth is my friend is working. Again, few suggested banning the mother-in-law from his house; considering the weight of this action in the light of our African culture and religious values, is it expedient/ advisable? Concerning the signs of this immaturity and too engaging mother-in-law before marriage, yes, the signs were there though not as clear to suggest backing out of the union then. truth is, some reasonable women grow out of their parental influence once they are pronounced wife. most people will agree that if one must wait for a perfect date who complies 100% with your likes before a decision to marry, one may wait for long. most people are fortunate to have a sympathetic wife, which Chief Obafemi Awolowo once said its the bedrock of a man's success in life. like I said earlier, I hope to bring all parties involve in this matter ( wife, husband & mother-in-law) to read these advises. Should I do so? will it inspire peace or more trouble? pls I still need your help. Thank you for being a family.

adeibi: the way the OP described and is concerned about the situation as if he lives with them.
Are you sure you are not the friend you are talking about?

To answer your question; do you understand the true meaning of childhood friendship in it best / honest form form? if you have a friend who worth much more than a brother/sister, you will probably understand. Any ways, its only advice but not cash is being solicited for here so there is no proclivity for scam sir.
Family / Re: My Friend's Wife Is Loyal To Her Mother And Ignores Her Husband by integrityfood: 10:56am On Oct 20, 2012
Sam Milla: This things dont just happened. Women inherit such rubbish way back down the lineage. The wife of your friend will eventually influence her daughters too unless they get married to someone who can intelligently break the chain. It's all relative.

I remember a girl that was planted on me when i returned from Netherlands. Initially the girl was sent to me, accompanying me in the car everywhere i go. I came to know a lot about how she reasons and smiles and talks. She got to me really. Then she came one day all moody and wouldnt talk like before. I instantly knew that a demand has been made from her family or friends. I eventually discovered that the flow of gifts towards her relatives, which i blocked was the cause. I thought i knew her mother until the commands started.
She would come to my place to tell me her mother wants me to join them in 5 days fasting, go to one mountain or the other to pray, go to monastry to climb hills with my knees, carry cross like Jesus did thousands of years back, tell me which friends to go with and those to run away from, tell me which time to come back each day etc.
Well after listening to her one day, i asked her if she was ready to leave her mother and live with a man which she had no answers to.
I made up a story too that my own mother wants the relationship to stop.

We all have mothers, dont we.

My advice to the affected person is to be calm and calculated. Declare your authority and face the consequenses. Start by telling your mother in-law to stop coming to your place. That will shake everybody for a while and before they recover, drop another bomb. You have only one life to live.

Thank you very much for your very well articulated views and advise. I quite agree with you that sterned action must be taken boldly and on time too to save this union. i plan to invite both parties ( wife & husband) to view this comments here perhaps, they can learn vital lessons of marriage. Once again, thanks for your contribution.

feminine A: The woman is using her hands to dig her own grave. I hope its not too late for her sha. Really she needs to grow up and stop attaching herself to her parents apron. Immediately the man gets fed up its going to be a terrible outburst.
No wonder the bible says a wise woman builds her home but the foolish one pulls it down. But the man should have seen signs during their dating days but ignored them. as a friend continue to pray. That's all

You are right on point!!! i just hope God will intervene. what i hope to do next is draw their both attention (wife & husby) to all the contributions here so they understand the risks involve in what they allow. thanks for your contribution.

omosexy1:

The man just told you what to do and you are asking him to be serious. Something tells me you are the affected person. Anyways, regardless of who, the mother-in-law must leave/stop visiting. A family meeting should be held, both parties should be represented. The issue and way forward should be discussed.

This latest comment is a follow up to his earlier statement. However, i found his contribution very enriching and comprehensive. I equally appreciate every contributions. I will draw my friend's attention to the comments here, hence still expect more suggestions and advise. Thank you.

Do you mean finances should actually be discussed before marriage? what if the person eventually does not make it with you to the alter, then she or he would have known your financial secret. Now after marriage, if your spouse say the woman tells her family every matter of your home thereby displaying absolute immaturity, is it wise to disclose your finances to her? bearing in mind that you will not want her family to know your financial status.

In my view, there is nothing wrong sending support to your wife's family but two factors are important in my considerations: first is your earning capacity. if you have the means, then you can help. the second is her attitude. if she is humble and makes it as an appeal, you may further inconvenient yourself to help considering the financial condition of her family but if she is the nagging, disrespectful and stubborn type, bros use ur mind.
