could you please expantiate on what u means by 'adjusted for dividend'?
in simple term the price now(today) reflects Friday's closing price minus dividend declared by each company for year ending 2015.

Intendy, I understand what you mean, playing it safe and stable.
But, 15% return in 365 days? Scandalous!!!
Then why would one be wasting time and data all year?
We just must be lucky and make BIG money this year thro God's Grace,
even in the face of all seeming odds.
And no apologies to those who don't like hearing this.

Lucky week everybody! cool
get your drift but depends on everyone's risk tolerance.

true yield is 17% and an upward payment ,its good for Heavy money bags.

Some fund managers will just go put money in TB and bring the proceed to stock market since you are paid from onset.

some stocks will beat that 17% true yield but most wouldn't.

Good morning bros,

Its earnings months, the few good result should lift the affected stocks at least and again i think investors that dump skye and etc, will quickly want to position in the remaining stocks with better prospects.

k
How many stocks can guarantee good return now?
just few.when TB can now guarantee 15% return over a 365 days investment and risk free.
one needs to dig deeper.
happy week ahead

bro DUNKA,all the aforementioned stocks are good except for one or two and you omitted to put #20000 in from of dangote sugar.

reclassifying the stocks by sector

oil and gas =25% app.

food,beverage and consumer goods =39.9%

financial =27.1% app

building material/construction =8%

its a good mixture like I earlier said but your age and risk appetite determines a lot.

You'll have to drop some under performer which will likely drag back the portfolio.
but some stocks in some sectors are OK.
just my two cents for now

Please, house, kindly assist me with this question.
Assuming FBNH releases their H1 2016 result, What will possibly be the market reaction if there is no improvement in impairment charges due to loan losses but good improvement in cost reduction (operational expenses) and an impressive PBT yoy result in comparison with H1 2015?
bro.my answer is what will be your own personal reaction/opinion when such result is released irrespective of the market reaction?
cause you are also part of the market you are expecting reaction from.

Investors, traders, and speculators should be careful of a company that keep asking for cash without generating cash for the investors. Everyone should be careful and thread softly with it. There's always another opportunity in stock market. Life is a race not a marathon!

OBAGADAFFI:
This is so wrong

The transaction will include the sale of the firm’s Agbara manufacturing facility designed for drinks business and 6.45 hectares of land
while the company retains 3.45 hectares of the land to enable it to invest and grow the retained GSK consumer business, according to the firm.

Under the terms of transaction, the chairman explained that the company would retain the production equipment used in the GSK consumer business and would lease from Suntory those areas of the Agbara facility, which were used in the production process for the core GSK business.

My observations:

1.Why sell off what you have and still go back to lease it.
2. Are they saying their drinks, lucozade and co are no longer profitable
3. What's the stake of GSK management in Suntory.
my brother. I tire o.all this are not pleasant to the hear.
