Your IQ is sub and i pity your miserable life. If your state doesn't have airport yet, then you shouldn't be discussing airport issues. So go and hide dumbo
adelaja70: Your iq is very low and i pity your life... So each state must have airport? You are a Dumbo.
Forget about Jurassic show us the one on your backward useless worthless shithole state. Does your state has an airport, not to talk of carousel?
dewiseacre: In 2021 "picking luggages from a carousel" is what you're celebrating?? This is what people who lived in the Triassic or the Jurassic era should be celebrating. It's such a shame this is what our leaders have turned us to
Akwaibom or Uyo in particular is a small town with little economic activities going on there. You cannot compare such state with Anambra that has huge human and material capitals with its three major cities that thrives economically and otherwise.
It is safe for AKWAIBOM to give Ibomair their full support to grow, because ordinarily no airline would want to go to Uyo because it has one of the lowest air traffics in Nigeria.
Anambra is a diverse state that even Airpeace alone cannot contain its traffic volume.
In a nutshell, Anambra needs all the airlines it can get both foreign and domestic. The analogy between Anambra and Akwaibom doesn't fit in.
When it comes to air traffic/economic footprints, Anambra can only be compared to states like Lagos, Rivers, Kano and Delta states.
tshtsh: Why not focus on the issue I raised. If you have a different opinion air it out instead of involving yourself in name calling. At DXB airport emirates is the dominant airline and DXB airport sees more passenger traffic than all the airports in Nigeria put together but they still protect emirates airline and grant them different levels of protection. Ethiopian government does same at Bole airport. In Nigeria this has not been the case till ibom air came and frustrated out other airlines on the Uyo route. With the level of investment and commitment airpeace airline has made towards the anambra airport project it will not be out of place for the state government to make them the dominant airline there. This is just my opinion. I'm not from anambra state but the government will determine that

Governor Obiano just arrived from Abuja with his wife at Anambra International Cargo and Passnger Airport, Umueri.
Anambra international airport is the best airport east of the Niger and the international gateway to the eastern Nigeria. Cool
I Have Transformed Anambra State With Proper Infrastructure…Governor Obiano
By Ejike Abana (ABS Government House Correspondent)
Anambra State Governor, Chief Willie Obiano says the manifesto of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) is one to beat in the forthcoming Gubernatorial election.
Governor Obiano stated this when he arrived from Abuja with his wife at Anambra International Cargo and Passnger Airport, Umueri.
Governor Obiano said that working with APGA manifesto, former Governor Peter Obi performed well, after which he succeeded him, working with APGA manifesto and added that Professor Chukwuma Soludo will do better if elected because he is armed with APGA manifesto.
While pointing out that the flight took exactly thirty eight minutes from Abuja, the Governor said that he has ensured transformation of Anambra with the right legacy projects.
According to the Governor, the airport will begin commercial flight operation within the next month, explaining that the delay is because of the three super modern fire trucks called Zigler which were ordered and paid for, six months ago from Germany, but are being built to specification.
Governor Obiano reiterated that his administration did not borrow money to finance the airport project, noting that with the commissioning of the Agu-Awka Sub-Station by Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, which has direct supply to the airport, it will be serviced with twenty four hours power supply and concluded by encouraging the different contractors to tap into the EEDC supply that is now constant.
From the terminal building, the governor and the wife were taken to the control tower through the lift, where he observed that the equipments are already in place.
Meanwhile, finishing touches are being given to the airport as even the carousel is being installed, among other gadgets.
The Governor and Wife as well as the Commissioner for Health, Dr. Vincent Okpala were recieved by the Commissioner for Works, Engineer Marcel Ifejiofor who walked them round the facility, while some of the APGA party heirarchy trouped out in their numbers to receive them.
OreMI22: There is a reason why some people HATE the idea of the computerization of the tax register and using banks & POS system to pay directly into the state's revenue account. Cutting out these illegal middlemen & touts has not been an easy task. The more you arrest the touts, the more their godfathers recruit more touts to illegally collect "revenue" from the people on behalf of the government.
Truth be said, Obiano did so well to fight the machiavellian overlords and godfathers that have been collecting and pocketing the state's IGR under the guise of being market union leaders or motor park union leaders for many decades. many of them operate in partnership with corrupt commissioners and highly placed civil servants to undercut and frustrate the state government on smooth collection and remittance of collected taxes from these hoodlums.
Anambra is a very tough state because these god-father touts collecting these dues meant to be paid into the state coffers simply pocket the money and use the remaining to hire thugs that will chase away and maim any real state government tax agent coming into the markets or parks.
Face your backward shithole Imo state that has failed as a state. You are not bothered about your useless worthless Imo state.

ChineduAIaegbu: Ifeanyi Ibezi, Victor Umeh, Chinedu Obidigwe, Governor Obosi, Baby Awka etc, makes more more than Anambra State through IGR. Ha nwa bụ ndị isi Agbero in Anambra StateAnd the modus operandi is to sell to them, and they go out there to milk people dry, reason their boys are ready to kill. Just this year alone, more than 5 persons have died in the hands of touts IN Onitsha alone. For an instance, Nkpor Park pays 4.7m monthly, through one of the son of Alphonsus Uzoegwu, how much do you think Nkpor Park generates daily? We are not serious yet, when we are, everyone will know.
Take your useless worthless incoherent rubbish post outta here. No one is interested in your rubbish
