The assumption that “we have enough palm trees already” reflects a deeper policy misunderstanding. Agricultural competitiveness isn’t measured by tree count. It’s measured by: • Yield per hectare • Oil extraction rate • Seed genetics (dura vs. improved tenera hybrids) • Processing efficiency • Access to structured markets Many of the palms across the South are aging, low-yield stands outside organised supply chains. What we lack isn’t trees. We lack coordinated extension systems, research-commercialisation linkage, and structured private capital deployment. The same issue affects cocoa, cassava and even rice. Potential is abundant. Productivity is not. Until we treat agriculture as an enterprise ecosystem — not nostalgia — the gap will remain. |
L The “we have plenty of palm trees everywhere” argument sounds logical on the surface, but it confuses wild occurrence with commercial productivity. There’s a big difference between: • Scattered, aging wild palm trees • And structured, high-yield plantation systems with improved tenera hybrids, proper spacing and processing infrastructure. Most of the palms people see across the South are low-yield dura varieties, often 30–50 years old, untended and not part of any organised supply chain. |
That man Otti is really proving a lot as the Governor of Abia state... I suspect he might be nominated as a running mate (V.P. Candidate) to any of the top Political Parties presidential flag bearers of he's ready to decamp. ChizzyBuna: |

Hmmmm 🤔 But we all clamored for the electoral amendments... It's finally been done but we still see some lapses there... That'll be the next amendment after the next alection, as we first yest this one to see other things to address aside the one we've now identified (we continue building an electoral acts suitable for our political space. Rome isn't built in a day. America didn't get here same day. And no country has it all perfect even as at today. themanderon: |
Hmmmm🤔 What a story... It'll definitely be very painful to the boss. But could the money be legitimate without cutting corners with his oga's business? And that he didn't cheat his Oga on full day time that's expected to be dedicated to his servicethroughout the agreed 6 years? Not sure! Because the reports, if confirmed to be true, if him shutting down night clubs in the town, is a major indictment. |

This is a very good result for Michael Carrick and the entire Manchester Unitd. dynasty.... I guess he's now won 5 EPL matches out of 6 (taking 15 points out of a possible 18 points) which is an excellent performance. I guess the management would be considering retaining him as the head coach on a permanent basis at the end of the season especially if he's able to qualify the team for Champions League next season. |
Believe whichever report you deem believable... The government seems to be contradicting itself by first denying any suspicion of coup and now coming forward to name suspected coup plotters and financiers🤷♂️🤔 JesusSaves49: |
