Ideagatesauto:This is a flood damaged vehicle. You need to indicate this history in your advert to sell this here. |

VIN please. Thanks. |
Great Job tampering with and rolling back the Odometer. The criminal things one gets away with in Nigeria.

Jethrolite You have attempted to do a really dishonest thing on this advert, and it will not be forgotten easily, however well you delete your posts and comments. It is one thing to call out and expose a dealer for not having appropriate or relevant information or having false claims and lies about their merchandise on the advert. It is another entirely to wilfully attempt to disrupt a sale with such vitriol when a vehicle is not flooded or otherwise significantly damaged, verifiable with evidence. That is outright malicious and dishonest and is not what this full disclosure campaign is about. |
matrixmuzi: Jethrolite: Stop speaking useless grammar and edit. Never mind all the underhanded attempts to discourage the sale of this vehicle. You have provided the VIN, and that is what you are required to do. I was the one that even made it known that this had a salvage history, if I didn't these other commenters wouldn't even have a clue. So ignore and rise above the noise and advertise your vehicle. Good Luck and I'm rooting for you to sell this. Just be sure to provide the VIN to prospective buyers and let them do their due diligence. Good Luck Gazzuzz Cosplay |
Jethrolite:I will not be editing any quotes, and I ran an actual detailed autocheck query. Everything you think you've discovered about this vehicle, I already know about, and in much greater detail than you do. This is a legitimate sale, seller has produced the VIN, and is entirely at liberty to sell his vehicle in peace. |
kayola11: Great job with the insults. Very civilized. You know what's coming. |
matrixmuzi:Is this the base or the premium? You said it's a V6? |
Jethrolite:The fact that you alluded to destroying this car sale has betrayed your intentions. That is a really dishonorable thing to do. As one of the early proponents of this full disclosure campaign, I can tell you that that was never and has never been the intention. The intention has always been to encourage dealers to be open and transparent about their merchandise. Anyway, This vehicle has a salvage title, but that does not necessarily mean that it is in such poor condition as to warrant the sort of repeated capital intensive repairs you alluded to in your initial remarks. A great many circumstances may lead to an insurance company declaring vehicle Salvage. Not all of them are so severe that they hamper a vehicle's optimal functioning and performance. I'll put it this way, This vehicle has a salvage title, but that does not justify the initial comments you made. Those were crass and frankly unnecessary especially because you do not have the evidence to back them up. It's alright to have an opinion, but it is not alright to present that opinion as fact intended to malign a legitimate sale. This is not 'Scrap'. This is a Ford Mustang, probably a base V6 hardtop. Please show some respect. |
Jethrolite:You need to have more information about these issues before you make such disparaging comments. A salvage title does not necessarily mean that a vehicle is substandard or in such terrible condition. That may be the case sometimes, but the rest of the time the damage may not be significant enough to affect the optimal functioning of the vehicle. |
You seem to have left out the VIN. |
Jethrolite:Do you have any evidence to backup the conclusions you've made here? That this vehicle is in substandard condition? |
Jethrolite:I don't quite agree with this. It's not scrap. Far from it, actually. This is still a beautiful work of art. Let's not cast aspersions on the vehicle and the sale. It may be salvaged but that doesn't make it 'scrap'. He's posted the VIN so he may choose to sell it for whatever sticker price he wishes. |
matrixmuzi:Just to clarify, it may be a 'private' sale, but it's been advertised on a public forum. That means people who may not be able to afford it will come around and leave all sorts of commentary like I currently am.No need to be upset or defensive. Just harmless banter. |
In any case that's between you and your buyers. I only made the observation because you insinuated I was so poor I would be unable to afford it. So I had to truly verify if I would be able to. Turns out you weren't so right afterall. ![]() |
matrixmuzi:It suddenly became quite legible to me. |
1ZVBP8AM7C5264454 This vehicle actually has a Salvage history. Sold on Copart in October 2013. |
matrixmuzi:You shouldn't start what you'd be unable to finish. This VIN is illegible. That message has been passed across to you in multiple ways yet you don't seem to understand. |
kayola11: They've checked and there's no VIN present. So they're asking someone to do your Job for you. |
This is illegible.

|

johnnyn1:You saw the comments and requests made for the VIN and ignored them. Now you say it isn't accidented independent verification. Carry on. |
Demeanor:Alright. |
This is the very definition of clickbait. |

not be able to afford it will come around and leave all sorts of commentary like I currently am.
