Turns out this vehicle with VIN 4JGDF7CE2EA289539 was put up for auction on two separate occasions in 2017

First on iaai, in its original post-damage/stripped state, then subsequently on copart, after some repairs.

The following appears to represent the original post damage/stripped state after the 03-29-2017 incident in Florida.

The price stated there is by no means the final auction/sale price, just thought to add. Merely a recommendation or an estimate.

I don't quite see the link there. If a VIN request is made it's as simple as taking a photograph of the VIN plate and including it with your advert. Doesn't require removing the title and descriptions.

Besides these VIN requests were made days ago. You only posted these adverts you took down overnight, last night. I suspect it was after Cosplay came after one of them.

The VIN in your vehicle registration was intentionally modified. 0(zero) was replaced with O (alphabet) this is suspicious and is only done when a vehicle is already registed on auto reg with same VIN.

Please explain.

There are a LOT of errors on that MVAA database. The errors do not necessarily come from the vehicle documentation. They probably come during the process of uploading the information to the database. It's easy to mistake 0 for O and 5 for S, and 1 for I when they have to be typed repeatedly.

To simplify, a valid VIN can never have I, O or Q to avoid that confusion. It probably wasn't the fault of the owner. And probably wasn't even done intentionally.

Of course anything is possible in Nigeria.

There's really nothing discreet about a vehicle VIN. It's right there on the dash plate for literally anybody to see. All that's being requested is that you take a photograph on the VIN from any at its locations on the vehicle.

You have the Vehicle registration clearly visible, so I don't think you need to worry about discretion anymore.

Quite simple, really.
