Lie , u can say 20% not 70% im a pharmacy student . Majority of them have great passion for pharmacy

OP pls bear in mind that 70% of those who study pharmacy only do so as a second option, with the initial goal being medicine. Again I speak as someone with experience in both fields.
Don't make your decision solely on advice from Nairaland. Take your time to visit some pharmacists and doctors one on one, ask them questions. That's the best way to know what you're getting into before its too late. Take care bro.

medsurg students do learn pathology...., it means they will know little on pathology... they won't come and replace medical laboratory scientist because they were taught pathology..

medical laboratory science students will learn pharmacology... to know little abt drugs... and not to replace pharmacists........

They are not even needed to design food supplement let alone drugs because pharmacists can do that with much more expertise. Stop looking at those biochemists that got employed in the 90s and early 2000s things av changed now. And yes, biochemists are not professionals because they don't have ethically defined jobs they are licensed to do
