Seat selection is usually free 24 hours before the flight, it's best to wait till online check-in opens then select your seats. Alternatively, you can check-in very early at the airport on the day of travel, they usually seat families together.

Hi, I did my assessment before finding this group so didn't know about tier 1 or 2 universities. What's on their website is a 4 year university degree so you should go ahead & try your luck. What I do know they are fussy about is Teaching Practice and its duration. I got my TP coordinator to write the letter using the university's letterhead and stamp and it was accepted. This was sent with my IELTS result, certificate and filled registration form via DHL.

Transcript was sent directly to them from unilag.

Dont you need to get in touch with a professor or a senior lecturer in your department to help you out at the Registrars office? That is the route some peeps have used(extra long legs to break protocols). You need to explain your plight, sort if you need to.You ought to have known transcript is required to prove you earned that degree claimed and started working on it even after sending your application/other docs..
Getting assigned a CO is a big deal and you are still on another CO contact.it will cause uncessary delay. How long have yu been on CO contact though?...please move fast ejor..

good luck
Thanks for the information

Please can someone clarify IOM's 40 kg luggage allowance for me.
For an adult travelling alone,
Is the luggage allowance 40kg*2?(just like most airlines give 23kg*2)
Or is it a total luggage allowance of 40kg
Total of 40kg ie 20kg×2

How I wish you know how elated I am reading from you

I have B.Ed Guidance and counseling
did Teaching practice in 200 and 300 level each for a duration of 6weeks respectively. taught. Agriculture science

Hi,
I didn't send a syllabus, but my transcript was sent directly to them by the university. However the assessment was done last year (2016) so maybe their requirements have been updated. Pls check their website.

The letter was pretty straightforward. It had my name, years I did TP, names of the schools and ages / classesI taught.

Goodluck with your submission.

Hi, what specific info do you need?

You need IELTS academic with a minimum of 7 in reading and writing and 8 in speaking and listening. A letter from your university stating your TP is very important too. I got mine from the TP coordinator using the department's letterhead and it was good enough. Work experience is not needed.

The result is only sent by local post and this is where you need major prayers- that it doesn't get lost in Nigeria! Mine was 'somewhere unknown in Lagos' for about 3 months!!!

[quote author=Ifeoluwa33 post=59267084]Afternoon. Just joining this group, I went through aitsl assessment for migration. Can I apply for the secondary school teacher having studied Educational Guidance and Counselling.

I studied G&C from Unilag and applied as a secondary school teacher; I got a positive assessment from aitsl. Assessment takes about 3 months. The only problem though is they only respond via regular post. My letter got missing in transit and nipost tracking was always unavailable. After a lot of praying and fasting, they found it 2 months later sitting on a random table in their head office!
