The Nigerian supreme council for Ecclesiastical affairs (NSCEA) Has Slammed Abel Damina and caution him over his heretical teachings. In a letter personally signed by the secretary, Bishop Professor Funmilayo Adesanya-Davies which copied the christian association of Nigeria (CAN) has cautioned Abel Damina against further fallacious and heretical teachings of the Christian faith. OPEN LETTER AND DISCLAIMER - BY NSCEA TO: Dr. Abel Damina (Alias Global Papa) FROM: Nigerian Supreme Council for Ecclesiastical Affairs (NSCEA) DATE: 15th. October, 2024 SUBJECT: CAUTION AGAINST FALLACIOUS AND HERETIC TEACHINGS OF CHRISTIAN FAITH Dear Dr. Abel Damina, We, at the Nigerian Supreme Council for Ecclesiastical Affairs (NSCEA), have observed with dismay your current preachings and teachings of Biblical tenets and hereby write to express grave concern and caution regarding these your teachings, which have been brought to our attention. This letter also serves as a DISCLAIMER. Heresy is, "a belief or opinion contrary to orthodox Christian doctrine and any belief, teaching or practice that explicitly undermines the gospel." Heresies are "beliefs or teachings that deviate from established or orthodox doctrine, often considered contrary to the accepted teachings of a religion or faith." In Christianity, these include: 1. Arianism: Denies Jesus' divinity. 2. Gnosticism: Emphasizes secret knowledge over faith. 3. Pelagianism: Rejects original sin and predestination. 4. Donatism: Questions validity of sacraments performed by unworthy clergy. 5. Monophysitism: Believes in single nature of Christ. While we appreciate your passion for spreading the Gospel, we cannot ignore the alarming rate of theological errors and heresies in your messages, especially as it is now going viral on social media as hate speech and cyber crime against the Christian faith. Please note that, the Bible is not for philosophising, it's the WORD OF GOD inspired of the Holy Ghost. Specifically, we have issues with the following titles of your messages such as: "There is no heaven", "You don't need God to Succeed", "Jesus is not coming back", "Heaven is scam", "God is not responsible", "Jesus Christ is not a Christian", "Jesus Christ is God the Father and there is no trinity", "The Bible is not the Word of God", "No to Holy communion" and "No to tithing", etc. We assert that, most of these your topics are mere fallacies and heretic, while the notions are mistaken beliefs, especially based on generalisations, self interpretation, personalised style, alarming sub-titles, and unsound arguments. For instance, in English, "the notion that the camera never lies is a fallacy." You also know this, but your preaching style is focused on attracting your audience through content creating hype rather than being correct and spiritual. These teachings deviate from the fundamental doctrines of Christianity, contradicting the Holy Scriptures and the historic confessions of the faith. Your interpretations in most cases are also subjective to undermine the authority of Scripture, compromise the deity of Christ, and confuse the nature of our great salvation. The core tenets of Christian faith include: CORE DOCTRINES: 1. Trinity: One God in three persons - Father, Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit. 2. Incarnation: Jesus Christ, fully human and fully divine. 3. Salvation: Faith in Jesus Christ saves humanity from sin and its consequences. 4. Bible: Inspired, authoritative, and infallible scripture. 5. Creation: God created the universe and humanity. ESSENTIAL BELIEFS: 1. Deity of Christ: Jesus is Lord and God with the Holy Spirit in Trinity. 2. Virgin Birth: Jesus born of Mary, conceived by Holy Spirit. 3. Atonement: Jesus' death and resurrection redeem humanity. 4. Resurrection: Jesus rose bodily from the dead. 5. Second Coming: Jesus will return to judge and establish God's kingdom. CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW: 1. Sin and Fallen Nature: Humanity's rebellion against God. 2. Redemption: God's plan to restore humanity through Jesus. 3. Faith and Works: Salvation by faith, demonstrated through works. 4. Church: Community of believers, body of Christ. 5. Sacraments: Baptism and Communion (Eucharist). KEY BIBLE PASSAGES: 1. John 3:16 (Salvation) 2. Romans 3:23-24 (Sin and Redemption) 3. 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (Resurrection) 4. Matthew 28:19 (Trinity) 5. 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (Bible). CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS: 1. Catholicism 2. Eastern Orthodoxy 3. Protestantism (Lutheran, Calvinist, Anglican, etc.) 4. Evangelicalism 5. Pentecostalism. CHRISTIAN VALUES: 1. Love (Matthew 22:37-40) 2. Forgiveness (Matthew 6:14-15) 3. Humility and Respect (Philippians 2:3- ![]() 4. Compassion (Matthew 25:31-46) 5. Integrity (Proverbs 10:9). CHRISTIAN PRACTICES: 1. Prayer 2. Worship 3. Bible Study 4. Communion 5. Baptism 6. Giving. Here are some common errors in reasoning and argumentation that you have been involved in rather than humbly subjecting your interpretations to the help of the Holy Spirit. FALLACIES: 1. Ad Hominem: Attacking the person, not the argument. 2. Strawman: Misrepresenting or exaggerating an opposing argument. 3. False Dilemma: Presenting only two options when there are more. 4. Slippery Slope: Assuming a chain of events without evidence. 5. Appeal to Authority: Using authority to support an unjustified claim. 6. Appeal to Emotion: Using emotions rather than logic. 7. Begging the Question: Assuming the truth of the conclusion. 8. Circular Reasoning: Using a conclusion as a premise. 9. Confirmation Bias: Selectively seeking supporting evidence. 10. Denying the Antecedent: Incorrectly concluding that a condition is false. GENERALISATIONS: 1. Hasty Generalization: Drawing conclusions from insufficient evidence. 2. Sweeping Generalization: Making overly broad statements. 3. Stereotyping: Applying group characteristics to individuals. OTHER ERRORS: 1. Ambiguity: Using unclear or vague language. 2. Equivocation: Using words with multiple meanings. 3. False Analogy: Comparing unlike things. 4. Faulty Causality: Assuming cause-and-effect without evidence. 5. Ignoring the Context: Omitting relevant information. 6. Misleading Vividness: Using vivid imagery to mislead. 7. Oversimplification: Simplifying complex issues. 8. Question-Begging Epithet: Using loaded language. 9. Red Herring: Introducing irrelevant information. 10. Unfounded Assumption: Assuming facts without evidence. COGNITIVE BIASES: 1. Anchoring Bias: Relying too heavily on initial information. 2. Availability Heuristic: Overestimating the importance of vivid information. 3. Bandwagon Effect: Following popular opinion. 4. Priming: Influencing thoughts or behaviors. 8. Selective Perception: Filtering information. 9. Self-Serving Bias: Attributing success to internal factors. 10. Sunk Cost Fallacy: Continuing investment due to past commitment. LOGICAL ERRORS: 1. Affirming the Consequent: Assuming a conclusion based on incomplete evidence. 2. Denying the Consequent: Incorrectly concluding that a condition is false. 3. Undistributed Middle: Assuming a conclusion based on incomplete evidence. 4. Illicit Major: Using an invalid premise. 5. Illicit Minor: Drawing an invalid conclusion. RHETORICAL DEVICES (USED TO DECEIVE OR PERSUADE): 1. Allusion: Referencing famous people or events. 2. Hyperbole: Exaggerating for emphasis. 3. Metaphor: Comparing unlike things. 4. Personification: Attributing human qualities to non-human entities. 5. Rhetorical Questions: Asking questions for effect. Recognizing these errors can help you critically evaluate arguments and make more informed decisions logically. Moreover, 'Logic' is the systematic study of reasoning and argumentation, focusing on the principles and methods for evaluating information, constructing arguments, and making informed decisions. MAIN BRANCHES OF LOGIC ARE: 1. Deductive Logic: Concerned with certain and absolute conclusions. 2. Inductive Logic: Deals with probable conclusions based on evidence. 3. Abductive Logic: Involves making educated guesses or hypotheses. 4. Symbolic Logic: Uses symbols and formal languages to represent logical relationships. 5. Mathematical Logic: Applies logical principles to mathematical reasoning. LOGICAL CONCEPTS: 1. Proposition: A statement that can be true or false. 2. Premise: A statement supporting a conclusion. 3. Conclusion: The inferred result of premises. 4. Inference: The process of drawing conclusions. 5. Argument: A set of premises and conclusions. 6. Validity: The property of an argument's logical structure. 7. Soundness: The property of an argument's truth and validity. You also need to learn and know that universal characteristics of language include being representative, symbolic, conventional, arbitrary, creative, etc. THE TOTAL PACKAGE OF SALVATION IN OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST The total package of salvation in Jesus Christ include: SPIRITUAL BENEFITS: 1. Forgiveness of sins (Ephesians 1:7) 2. Righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) 3. Reconciliation with God (Romans 5:10) 4. Eternal life (John 3:16) 5. Adoption as God's children (Ephesians 1:5) 6. Spiritual rebirth (John 3:3-7) EMOTIONAL BENEFITS: 1. Peace (John 14:27) 2. Joy (John 15:11) 3. Hope (Romans 5:2-5) 4. Comfort (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) 5. Love (1 John 3:1) PHYSICAL BENEFITS: 1. We urge you to: 1. Publicly retract and correct these false teachings. 2. Engage in theological dialogue with reputable scholars to clarify and deepen your understanding. 3. Align your ministry with the orthodox, evangelical and pentecostal teachings of Christianity or back out completely. It is always good to know enough to realise that you do not know enough. Dr. Abel Damina, you have crossed the line, and you are therefore no more a representative of Christianity (The Body of Christ) in Nigeria. We remain committed to upholding the truth and unity of the Body of Christ in Nigeria.

The Nobles Family Church international, 2024 international Believers Summit IBS comes to an end with diverse manifestation and demonstration of God's power at work as Pastor Francis Aubym from Ghana ministered powerfully. Theme: The Mobile Presence Of God For The Activation Of The Blessings. The cleric took his scriptural reference and text from '2 Samuel 6:10-23' The cleric teaching about; The mobile presence of God for the activation of the blessings and principles to access spiritual blessing, he admonished the congregation to "watch what they do with their heart, with that royal window". "What blessing doesn't respect is geography. Blessings doesn't regard location". "The blessings are more superior to curses and are antidotes to curses". Some few highlights and nuggets from the 2024 IBS service teachings. * God's blessings can locate you anywhere when the spirit of the Lord is in you. * When you're cursed even if you're in a conducive environment, you won't prosper, succeed or be blessed. * If you have Jesus, you carry the DNA to access God's blessings regardless of your location. * You can't carry the blessing and not be in charge. * You must have the spirit that describes God's wisdom. * The goodness is the physical material possession of God's blessings. * The Mercy is the Spirit that preserves you when you carry the materials of the blessings. * It is the mercy that exempt you from the judgement of evil people. * The blessings is the antidote for any distraction and curses on the earth. * The essence of carrying God's blessings is for us to market Christ anywhere we go to. * The gospel will be questionable when we are not manifesting God's blessings in all areas of our lives. * The presence of the Lord should be expressed in tokens. * When you entertain the presence of God, many miracles and blessings happen. * The essence of praise is not to feel him, we should praise him until we begin to feel him. * The presence of the Lord guarantees rest roundabout. * When our understanding are opened to the presence of God, we'll begin to see things differently. * God only entrust resources into the hands of those who will use it judiciously. * One of the ways to navigate into the supernatural dimensions is the realms of sacrifice. * When you have deep root in your spirit space, then you can function well in the market place. * Your grammar is a drama to the devil when you don't carry the forces of sacrificial power to the battle ground. * When you sit with the spirits, your life must be different from that of others. * Even mad people don't eat that which is sacrificed to the spirits. * You need to be functional if your work must show. It's not just by title but how well you serve. * You can't work well with God when you have an adult's mind, We must act like a child before him. (We Are all children before God - No adults). #NoblesFamily #BishopEbiye&PatriciaTuaweri #PastorFrancisAubym

Nobles Family Church, International Believers Summit (IBS) 2024, Day 2 characterize by the move of the spirit with precision and accuracy. Speaker: Rev. Phoenix Onu (Nigeria). Topic: Finding Solutions In The Church Text: Acts 3:1-10 "We have people that are very poor in the church, both financially, materially, and spiritually poor". The Devil uses poverty to torment the church. Even Christians. A man that is financially and materially poor is still better than the one that is spiritually poor. You can borrow money and material things, but you can't borrow spiritual things. The reason the man stayed by the gate for 40 years was because there was no man to deliver him from his bondage. If you must ask a beger to look at you, you must have something superior to give them It is such a disaster to be a child of God and still be poor in all areas of life. You must live a life of impact if you must be remembered even when you are no more on earth. You are most miserable if the only thing you have to offer the end of life is sympathy. No man can give what he doesn't have. May you have in abundance to live a life of impact and offer something to your generation. God will not send any man empty handed if he sent you on an assignment. The reason why people are in church and not growing, is because there's no time for them to really learn more about spiritual things. We must and groom people for eternity by teaching more about the word of God and spiritual things. We must be the light for people to see as Christians. Our life is what so many see and follow after. When you're growing up spiritually, you will begin to hear the voice God even from the mouth of babes and unbelievers. God wants us to have something to offer our generation. Something that will make us relevant in our time. A prophet that has no word for the people in time of trouble has expired gradually without knowing. God doesn't guess if presume. The realm of God is certainty. (Accuracy) The sure word of God is 100 accurate. Surely and assuredly, it must come to pass. In every disability, there's an ability. Satan doesn't bother those that are going nowhere. God's desire is to make us proof producers. One that preaches the gospel with evident and results. Most times, God's desires are far different from the way we anticipated. Whatever you do and Satan doesn't attack doesn't have any future. Church won't make sense to so many if we can't give them what they truly need and desire. Whatever you're looking for is in the hand of somebody. It might be someone we never ever imagined. (Sinner) Three (3) things God must give to every man to make impact: 1. His presence 2. People (Your own men) 3. Money John 5:1-8, scriptural reference. The reason why so many are delayed in life is cause they have no man. (Island) In the wisdom of God, he never gave anyone all. He gives us some and gives others as well so we can be interdependent. Sometimes God brings the right people to give us access to doors and ladders to the very top (Destiny helpers) The lane man by the beautiful gate was a praise singer and crowd puller. (May God give us something to offer). Jesus is Lord of all.

The Nobles Family Church, international Believers Summit 2024 begins fully in Abuja, with precise word of knowledge and prophecies as Rev. Phoenix Onuh ministers powerfully with practical demonstration of God's power at work. IBS 2024, Day 1. The cleric took his text from Isaiah 60:1, with the message titled; The Light Of God. The cleric said, The Devil's agenda is to cover the earth with gross darkness. The glory of the Lord shines even more brighter in the midst of darkness and gloom. The people of God will be light careers, glory bearers, God careers and fire lighters. 1 Chronicles 13: Exodus 3: God always shows up whenever his people are oppressed and held captives. The reason God stood in the bush to meet Moses, was because he needs somebody to carry him to where he will deliver. God needs someone at every point in time to carry the task and assignment he has given. (A God career) Every generation that must taste revival and benefit from the Spirit of God must have a man/woman who is a God career. If we must experience revival, we must bring the Ark of God back to the Church. Sometimes, someone can have a good motive, but a wrong approach can hinder them. The one who must carry God must carry God alone and not be distracted with other things. (Flesh) If you're going to be Glory/God bearers, your generation must provide men and women who are dedicated to carry God. The dilemma our generation has is that the people who brought God to us are passing out gradually. We need a new generation to Carry out the task so that there will be continuity. You need to present men/women that carry God if you must Illuminate your world. Anywhere you see the Spirit of God manifesting his power and doing the miraculous, somebody brought him there. God doesn't force himself on anyone. But those who deliberately and willingly submits themselves. There are always men/women whose destinies are tied to ours. They are eagerly waiting for us to ride so they could also rise. God does the miraculous when we least expected. He sees the level of readiness in our hearts. #NoblesFamily #Ibs2024 #BishopTuaweriEbiye

The Nobles Family Church, International Believers Summit IBS 2024 begins fully in Abuja, Nigeria. The day 3 witness powerful ministeration by Pastor Francis Aubym from Ghana with the manifestation of God's power at work. Pastor Francis Aubym took his text from Text: John 1:4-8, 2 Cor. 5:17. Topic: Witnesses Of The Light... Text: John 1:4-8 The life that Jesus gives is the light for our generation (2 Cor. 5:17) When we are in Christ, we are entirely new product different from the old self/being *Light is Life The appearance of light is always the appearance of life. Anytime light went into action, life also goes into existence and takes the center stage. Anywhere the positive light comes into place, it always swallows the negatives around the environment. When you have the light of God, you always become an overcomer The light of God makes us victorious all round. The more you discover light the more it flows. The stronger the darkness, the strongest the light becomes and takes over the whole place. As we grow in faith, the life of God becomes bolder and makes us stronger and better We want what the light can give, but we don't want the light in this generation. Always looking for the sharpest and easy way out. We need to come to the place where we can fight for the faith we trust and believe in. The essence of our faith is to go through the fire and still not bow, just like the 3 Hebrews boys. We need light and faith to go through things and not through diplomacy. The light makes us know that not all fruits are acceptable in the house of God. The light makes our faith decides what we do per time. We must all go through pressure at some point in life either to chose the light or darkness. And the decision will always decide the fruits we produce. We should always make Jesus our perspective for life. You cannot hold on to Jesus and also hold in to other things. You cannot be a part-time Christian fighting to defeat a full time Devil. We should strive to blossom in a way that men will see us and see the God who gives us this life and glorify him. No matter who far we go, we must strive to die in the light of God. It is questionable and more painful to lose anyone because of the absent of life. It is better to even die in light than to die in darkness. When you die in darkness as a Christian, you'll leave a lot of questions left to be answered. There's a way a Christian will and even the devil will clap for you in hell. The fullness of the light gives the full capacity of the believer. Somethings are caught and others are taught in the place of the Spirit. You have to find another degree of light in order for life to start. The light gives us solutions to difficult problems others can't solve easily. Light also produces POWER. Power makes us witness the light and makes us the light. You must show your work as a Christian in order to demonstrate the power and light of God. Every step and show of work makes the difference in the final answer. So many people crack under pressure. It is the presence of the light that makes us stand out firm even in the midst of the most challenging situations. *The first thing you offer to your spouse in marriage is your person and not your provision. You must be the light of your family and lead by the way Chris wants us to be. In Christ we are all equal in the sight of God. (Either male or female) If we are in the light, we must not be regulated by our traditions that is not in consonance with the light of God's word. The reason why the power of God is not at work in us and flow well, is that our inside has so many disconnected items still in us. You can't be a part time Christian and work in power. We must purge ourselves sometimes in order to work in our full capacity and in power. We need major servicing in order for our lives engines to function very well. It is very possible to be in church for a long time and still lose yourself in it. We must constantly renew ourselves in order to work God's light. We must touch the lives of others in order for people to see the light of God in us (Positive impact) A man of light will always leave positive mark and impact even after they are no more. No man is the reason why God's church should grow. When Jesus is at the center, he can use anything to advance his work. Light cannot be contained when God is at work in you. We shouldn't separate God's light with every other thing we do. (Even our circular jobs) If you don't have light, you don't have anything to withstand and fight the works of the evil ones. There's a dimension that no one can do anything for you. Sometimes it's a do it yourself thing. Staying and operating in the light is what brings out power. You might not even find things that are present when light is not in operation. Light always reveal and make open what's been hidden right before us. You cannot give out what you do not have. The source is always greater than the channels cos it doesn't runs dry. If we don't see the potency of the light we have, we will be slaves to things and people that should be under us. We must go the secret place to harness power in order for our light to manifest. Our light should be for impact and not just for survival. You cannot use Candles to give community light. We need a higher capacitor in order to transmit farther and greater power - (Isaiah 37:27). The church is truely marching on, and the gates of hell shall never prevail against it.

The senior pastor of Dunamis international gospel centre(DIGC), Dr Paul Enenche has said the church is doing too much, in an attempt to answer the questions by trolls who asked what is the church doing ? He said they have been doing too much. Speaking at the sunday testimony and thanksgiving service, 29th September 2024, the revered cleric said "For more than six (6) months welfare distribution has been on, every single Sunday" at the Dunamis glory dome. "We have about 700 people who will be ministering to, welfare wise today". Please be encouraged to share the good works as the bible said let your light so shine before men that they may behold your good works and glorify your father which is in heaven. So there's a time to make the world know, what church and God's people are doing. The bible said they will glorify our father which is in heaven for the good works. Dr Enenche charged the congregation to share such clips once they see it and make it go virally because the world is willfully ignorant of the essence of the church, they decided to be ignorant but we must force them to know, He said let your light shine, force your light to shine, let them see your good works so the father in heaven can be glorified, he emphasized. A former Senator representing Adamawa North Senatorial District, Ishaku Abbo popularly called SIA, has said he's committed and focus in transforming the lives of his people, constituents and Adamawa state at large. Speaking recently with journalists about a controversy, SIA said "Blackmail cannot stop me from winning elections". He stressed that he was not deterred by any distraction at the moment or in the future, but warned that tarnishing his image would not help the political interest of those sponsoring the blackmail, insisting that his supporters would still vote for him because of his performance while in the Senate. "Before 2023 elections, I decided to sponsor some of my young supporters to run for offices as part of my political mentorship program. I sponsored or supported youths in Densa, Numan, Lamurde, Guyuk, Mayo Belwa, Ganye, Yola North, Fofure, Song, Hong, Uba/Gaya, Mubi North, Mubi South, Michika, Madagali etc". As the controversies surrounding the teachings continues, his longtime ally, Dr. Michael Attah, widely known as "Soviet," has tackled Dr Damina over his herectic teaching and heresies, questioning the authenticity of his ministry and the foundation upon which it was built. He also raised serious concerns about the foundation and ministry of Pastor Abel Damina, saying, " his message is from the pit of hell and the devil is using him". Dr. Attah, who claims to have had a long-standing association with Damina dating back to the early 1990s, made these allegations in what he described as an effort to protect the integrity of the Christian faith. Dr. Attah recounted his early interactions with Damina, describing how they first met in 1990 when Damina was introduced to him as a fellow northerner. At that time, Damina was a young minister struggling to find acceptance within the local church community. According to Attah, Pastor Attai Ibah of Life Tabernacle and other prominent religious leaders rejected Damina’s message, which they deemed controversial and unfit for their congregations. Despite this initial rejection, Damina went on to establish his own fellowship, Friday Fire Fellowship (FFF), which later evolved into the International Charismatic Ministers Association (ICMA) and subsequently Power Chapel International. Dr. Attah expressed concern over Damina’s swift rise in the religious landscape of Akwa Ibom, questioning the authenticity of his ministry and the foundation upon which it was built. Dr. Attah did not mince words when discussing what he perceives as the flawed spiritual foundation of Damina's ministry. He stated, “Abel Damina, you’ve never been a Christian. Your foundation is wrong.” He also suggested that Damina's teachings were heretical and driven by avarice, pointing out that many of the early followers who supported Damina's ministry have since distanced themselves from him. One of the most damning claims made by Dr. Attah involves allegations of moral misconduct. He referenced accusations made against Damina, including an incident where a fellow pastor allegedly accused Damina of impregnating a married woman and another where it was claimed he had an inappropriate relationship with a pastor's daughter. . Dr. Attah questioned why Damina had not publicly addressed or refuted these serious allegations. Dr. Attah further criticized the legacy of Damina's leadership, noting that many individuals ordained by Damina have either left his ministry or failed to thrive in their spiritual endeavors. “How many people can stand today and say Abel Damina ordained me and today are doing great exploits in the body of Christ?” Dr. Attah questioned. He streseed, "I am saying this today to liberate the body of Christ from the way he's dissecting the word of God as if it's shakespeare, Julius Cesar or mathematics. All i have said, let him counter it that, one is a lie, and i will say further, they say a word is enough for the wise". The statements made by Dr. Attah have sparked significant concern and are likely there will be prompt discussions within the religious community of Akwa Ibom and beyond. As these issues circulate, the broader Christian community will be watching closely to see how Pastor Abel Damina responds to these serious matters.

*GMBNI---a beacon of hope for many* The present day situation in Nigeria requires a deep sense of love, care and compassion for the less fortunate. Grassroots mobilizers for better Nigeria, a non governmental organization popularly known as GMBNI is endeared to countless hearts and homes, providing succour in various fields of human endeavors. Founded by Amb. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Goni, a pan Nigeria woman from Borno state aims to provide support for the less privileged in society living in the rural areas and most especially the Tsangaya/Out of School Children (Almajiri) in Northern Nigeria by providing them with access to education, healthcare, and basic necessities. The initiative's gesture is also further enlarged to assist more less fortunate Nigerians regardless of socio-economic, tribal , ethnic and religious backgrounds. The certified non governmental organization with operational license now has a wider scope as it took the bull by the horns to provide succour to the affected persons and communities as recently demonstrated in Jigawa state where it inaugurated a revived dilapidated school as well as eleven open wells to provide portable water for residents of hard reach rural communities. While in Dutse, Jigawa state, Ambassador Fatima Mohammed Goni and her team were accompanied by the members of the Jigawa chapter of GMBNI on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Dutse, Muhammad Nuhu Sanusi where the royal father appreciated the philanthropic efforts of the GMBNI. Worthy of note is the fact that the Almajiri system in Northern Nigeria is a cultural and religious practice that has existed for centuries. This system involves sending young boys to Islamic schools, where they receive religious education and training. However, many of these children are neglected and deprived of basic necessities, such as food, shelter, and healthcare. These children are left to fend for themselves, and they are often forced to beg on the streets to survive. GMBNI was moved in this direction to enroll some of them in Nasarawa state into formal school. The initiative took the responsibility of providing teachers, uniforms, books and bags to the school pupils. With building of worship centres for both Muslims and Christian communities as a way of life to Ambassador Fatima Mohammed Goni, the gesture has also been extended to public burial grounds for both religions, keeping the places out of weeds and construction of drainages to prevent erosion. Provision of succour to internally displaced persons in Borno State is another intervention where Befitting blocks of buildings with necessary essentials ranging from boreholes and solar energy are also provided to make life comfortable for them. To achieve its mission, GMBNI is seeking funding and support from various donor organizations and good spirited individuals as the founder who has been shouldering the entire projects executed from her personal purse is poised to do more. |
