Group Opposes Former Governor Yahaya Bello's Senatorial Ambition in Kogi Central

A group under the auspices of 'Concerned Citizens of EBIRALAND' in Kogi Central Senatorial zone has rejected and strongly opposed the ambition and candidacy of former governor Yahaya Bello as the APC senatorial candidate in Kogi state.

Addressing journalists, Usman Musa Adabara, the leader of the group, said "we stand here today because we care deeply about the future of our state and the credibility of our democracy and our gathering is not motivated by hatred, personal attacks, or bitterness against any individual".

According to Usman, "We are here to strongly express our opposition to the senatorial ambition of former Governor Yahaya Bello and to call on the APC leadership not to consider him for the Kogi Central Senatorial ticket". "The protest before the public today is a call for conscience, accountability, and responsible leadership".

Speaking further, Usman explained that, Yahaya Bello is surrounded by serious allegations, public distrust, and questions over his stewardship of Kogi State should not be rewarded with another opportunity to represent the people at the National Assembly.

"Kogi people deserve leaders with integrity, credibility, and respect for democratic processes", he stressed.

Raising more concern, Usman said "The decision of former Governor Yahaya Bello to seek the senatorial ticket for Kogi Central has raised serious concerns among party members and ordinary citizens across the state", as reports has it that, he allegedly avoided the APC screening process have deepened public suspicion and anger".

Usman stated, "Screening is an important part of party democracy", Every aspirant is expected to face the process openly and honestly, as avoiding such scrutiny damages public trust and creates the impression that some individuals believe they are above party rules and above accountability". "Questions must also be asked about the moral burden surrounding his ambition at this time".

"A former governor facing allegations and court matters connected to the handling of public funds should ordinarily focus on clearing his name before seeking another public office".

"The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has already taken legal action concerning allegations involving billions of naira meant for the people of Kogi State". "Those issues remain matters of public concern and cannot simply be ignored because of political ambition".

"The people of Kogi State endured eight difficult years under Yahaya Bello’s administration. Workers complained about unpaid salaries. Pensioners cried for relief, Young people struggled with unemployment and hardship, Communities across the state expected growth and development that never matched the enormous resources available to the government at the time, many citizens believe the state moved backwards during those years and such a record should not be rewarded with another opportunity to control public resources", Usman emphasized.

Usman appeals to the conscience of the APC leadership to reject this ambition in the interest of justice, credibility, and the survival of the party in Kogi State and also call on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the national leadership of the APC to carefully study the political mood in Kogi State, as anger against Yahaya Bello cuts across board in kogi central, because the people deserve leaders who will protect the people’s resources, defend the dignity of the state, and inspire confidence among the next generation.

Our message is simple and clear, the APC must not reward controversy, avoidable suspicion, and failed leadership with another public office. The future of Kogi State is too important for such a mistake to be repeated, he concluded.

GMBNI promises greater partnership with NDLEA

The National drugs law enforcement agency, NDLEA has presented certificate of collaboration to the leadership of the grassroots mobilizers for better Nigeria Initiative, a non governmental organization.

A statement issued in Abuja by the media unit of GMBNI emphasized that the initiative is in recognition of the NGO's commitment to advancing the fight against drug abuse and other harmful substances to the grassroots.

Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa, (rtd) was represented at the presentation ceremony held at the GMBNI headquarters in Abuja by Shehu Dankolo, Commander in charge of Narcotics and sensitization, National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

It will be recalled that the leadership of the GMBNI recently complimented NDLEA's efforts through a book written by the NGO to sensitize people at the grassroots especially the youth on the dangers of indulging in harmful drugs.

Led by the chairperson and founder of the GMBNI , Dr Fatimah Mohammed Goni, both agencies believe that together drug cartels activities can be disrupted along with their financial networks, and scale up community sensitization.

Pleased by GMBNI efforts, NDLEA dispatched an inspection team to the NGO'S office on its request for collaboration to verify the genuineness and otherwise of the NGO.

The result of the positive assessment, having met all the conditions put forward, gave birth to the presentation of certification of collaboration to GMBNI.

Responding, the chairperson and founder of GMBNI Ambassador Fatima Mohammed Goni who spoke through Hajia Medina Dauda appreciated the NDLEA for the honour done to GMBNI.

The gesture she noted, will spur the NGO to do more in its humanitarian disposition geared towards providing succor and relief to the most vulnerable members of the society.

The crusade witness a deluge of miracles, signs, wonders, healings, diverse deliverances, intense worship and praise.

In Nicaragua, the power of God was tangible, lives transformed, yokes broken, destinies released and hearts set ablaze for God. This is a clear move of revival; unstoppable, undeniable and spreading across the land and Nicaragua shall never remain the same again.

While In BWARI, Fct-Abuja, An atmosphere of divine glory; mercy poured out richly, saturating the air, as God’s presence overwhelmed the congregation with healings, deep restoration, uncontainable joy, true liberty and the day 2, was a sacred encounter; calm yet powerful. Hearts were lifted, burdens were broken, and destinies were realigned in the presence of God. Indeed, when mercy speaks, everything changes.

Beyond the crusade, the revered clerics remained intentional about caring for the total wellbeing of the people. While the spiritual transformation was profound, the clerics were privileged to reach out through free medical and welfare ministrations, ministering to the spirit while also caring for the body, with several relief materials, clothings and other food items were distributed.

For instance, In BWARI-Fct, Abuja, 956 Persons were medically attended to and given various treatments and medications, 46 Chest X-rays were conducted, 6 medically emergencies were handled, and 3 patient were taken to the hospital for further medical care.

The total number of Dental patients seen were 374. with 5 tooth extraction successfully done, while 306 scaling and polishing were also conducted.

The week long respective programs concluded and climaxed on Saturday in Douala-Cameroon, where the atmosphere was saturated with faith and the presence of God as multitudes gathered for a divine encounter, and Healings erupted, Lives were transformed, Burdens were lifted and destinies encountered the touch of God. It was evident the God of mercy visited Cameroon in a mighty way. What a fitting climax to a time of divine visitation in Douala.

Worthy of note, the revered clerics remained intentional about caring for the total wellbeing and needs of the people and to the glory of God, every available space at the various crusades venue were filled with people.

Also, No offering was taken or collected at the crusades, as this is the principle of the ministry for every crusade that is conducted by the revered clerics. We return all the glory to the God of mercy for what He has done, Dr Enenche declared.

In a show of love and commitment to internal democracy, the Taraba State APC stalwart and renowned philanthropist, Chief David Sabo Kente, has yielded to intense pressure from party stakeholders and formally accepted the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship nomination form for the 2027 elections.
Following a series of high-level meetings and consultations with political leaders and stakeholders in Wukari from Wednesday, 14th April to Thursday, 15th April 2026, Chief Kente had initially declined attempts to draft him into the gubernatorial race. The development is being viewed as a strategic move to deepen internal democracy within the APC and provide Tarabans with a strong, viable alternative in the 2027 governorship race. Political analysts have described Chief Kente’s entry as a potential game changer.
Chief Kente brings a formidable political profile to the contest, having played a pivotal role in building the APC structure in Taraba State since 2016. For over a decade, he has cultivated strong political networks across the state and maintained a loyal support base through consistent grassroots engagement and political participation.

The senior Pastors of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche and Dr (Mrs) Becky Enenche, held 41 successful crusades across Nigeria and several countries in 2025, the church has said.

The crusades, which spanned Africa, Europe, North America, the Caribbean and parts of Asia, were released in an official video released by the church titled “Celebrating the Help of God in 2025: One Year, 41 Crusades.”

According to the video, the global evangelical outreach began in Idah, Kogi State, and extended to cities including Warri, Uyo, Lagos, Calabar, Awka and Maiduguri.

Outside Nigeria, the crusades were held in Faisalabad, Pakistan; Lome, Togo; Accra, Ghana; Toronto, Canada; Prague, Czech Republic; Kingston, Jamaica; Houston, United States; Antananarivo, Madagascar; Kampala, Uganda; and Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Others included Caracas, Venezuela; Maputo, Mozambique; Windhoek, Namibia; Luanda, Angola; and the United Kingdom.

Within Abuja, multiple crusades were organised across communities such as Lugbe, Giri, Kado, Apo-Dutse, Pyakasa, Kuchigoro and Gwudaba axis, among others.

The church said the extensive outreach formed part of its 2025 prophetic theme, “Taking Charge,” which guided activities across Dunamis assemblies worldwide.

The year rounded off with the church’s crossover service on December 31, ushering in 2026 with the theme, “Reigning as Kings,” anchored on Revelation 1:6.

Church leaders described the crusades as an expression of gratitude to God and a reaffirmation of Dunamis’ commitment to global evangelism.

The annual program usually ushers in, the christmas yuletide season.

Dr. Enenche humorously said, Otukpo people should sit up because the people of Adoka are doing everything possible to get more of his attention and focus now.

The week-long program, tagged “Healing & Deliverance Crusade with the theme; Dominion,” began on December 15th in Igumale, then Adoka and climax in Otukpo on December 19th 2025 with palpable manifestation of God's power and presence.

The total communities visited includes; Igumale, Iga Okpaya, Adoka and Otukpo respectively, with over 7000 people attended to medically by a team of qualified practitioners.

The highlight of the first evening (Day1) in Igumale, Benue state witness the arrival of the revered clerics to a thunderous applause by the cheering and jubilants crowd before a special prayer was made at the venue of the program by Dr Paul Enenche & his Dr Mrs Becky Enenche.

On the free medical ministeration, the services rendered includes; General treatment,
Hypertension, uncomplicated malaria, Diabetes, Pelvic ulcer, Skin allergies, Helnerithias, unitary tract infection (UTI). The various tests carried out are; Mp, Widal, Hbsag, Hcv etc.

One of the beneficiary of the free medical ministeration, Oigene Adakole said "she had carried the tooth ache and pains for 9 years, and i don't have money to go the hospital not until today through daddy Enenche and Mummy Becky's intervention with this free medical outreach, I am now relief.

On his part a top government official who benefited and witness the free medical ministeration, said "I have never seen such a free medical outreach anywhere before and it's completely free" may God bless Dr Paul Enenche.

The final day activities at the St Francis college Otukpo began with the medical outreach and at the evening crusade, Dr Enenche led the congregation in intense worship session characterized with diverse miracles notably of a young child who had leg dropping and was limping but got healed and he started walking well.

Using this as a backdrop, the week long program continued through out with medical ministeration in the morning and the evening sessions features teachings, prayers, worship, diverse healings, deliverances and the climax of the week long event was the church's popular commanding the day midnight where on the last day in Otukpo where, Dr Enenche concluded with a prophetic declaration for the whole Idoma land; there will be peace and total restoration in the whole Idoma land.

Dr. Becky Enenche Reaches Out To Over One Thousand Children, 30 Orphanage Homes To Mark 55th Birthday

As part of activities marking her 55th birthday, Dr. Becky Enenche, wife of Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, extended love and support to more than 32 orphanage homes and thousands of children from rural environment across the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The day began with a visit to Destiny Christian Academy in The Lord’s Garden, where she celebrated with schoolchildren.

From there, she proceeded to the event centre within the premises, where thousands of children, orphans and widows gathered for a massive outreach that featured the distribution of food items, educational materials and other welfare packages.

Later in the day, Dr. Enenche led her team to Tudun Wada, High Tension area in Lugbe, for a medical outreach, further extending humanitarian services to residents of the community.

Speaking during the celebration at The Lord’s Garden, Dr. Enenche encouraged the children to remain focused on their studies, maintain good character, and keep faith in God’s plan for their lives.

“Study hard, obey your teachers, and keep your eyes on the prize,” she told the children, adding that the church and her family would continue to support their education and welfare.

Addressing journalists, Dr. Enenche said the outreach was inspired by her long-standing passion for evangelism and child education.

“We started evangelism a few years ago along Airport Road, and in the process, we discovered many children were not in school. That gave birth to about 20 Bible clubs in different villages,” she explained.

“From there, I began placing some of the children on scholarships — separate from the scholarship programmes run by the church or by my husband. Each term, my team brings the list of children, and we ensure their school fees are paid. The list keeps growing because the children keep increasing.”

She added that beyond education, the ministry also provides mentorship, welfare, and emotional support to underprivileged children to help them build confidence and hope for the future.

Some of the beneficiaries expressed deep gratitude to Dr. Enenche for her continued kindness and generosity.

Praise Adekunle, one of the beneficiaries, said: “I feel happy and thankful for the gift of life. She placed me on scholarship, and for that, I’m grateful. May God bless and protect her and grant her many more years.”

Another beneficiary, Peter Oche, shared: “Mommy has been paying my school fees since junior school. I’m now in SS1. My prayer is that God will give her more life, more wealth, and more knowledge.”

Also speaking, Dr. David Abu Ozigi, Head of Welfare Department at Dunamis International Gospel Centre, said the gesture reflects the ministry’s enduring commitment to showing God’s love to the less privileged.

“This is not unusual for our Mummy. It is a consistent act of obedience to God’s command to care for orphans and widows,” he noted.
“Over 30 orphanage homes were empowered today, scholarships were awarded, and widows received support. Our spiritual parents, Dr. Paul and Dr. Becky Enenche, continue to show that true religion is love in action.”

He added that such gestures help build confidence and self-worth among children, reminding them that “God is indeed the Father of the fatherless.”

The Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr Paul Enenche, on Wednesday delivered a keynote address at the Uganda Leadership & Economic Summit, held in Kampala.

The summit coincided with the ongoing Healing and Deliverance Crusade in the country. The high-profile event brought together distinguished personalities, including the Minister of Kampala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda; Pastor Robert Kayanja and his wife, Pastor Jessica Kayanja; the Ambassador of Ethiopia to Uganda, H.E. Etsegenet Bezabih Yimenu; and Hon. Esther Davinia Anyakun, Minister of State for Gender, Labour and Social Development (Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations), Deputy Governor of the Bank of Uganda Augustus Nuwagaba, alongside other leaders and emerging voices.

The gathering focused on leadership principles that drive societal transformation.
Speaking on the theme “The Art of Leadership,” Dr Enenche emphasized that leadership transcends titles and positions.
“True leadership is measured not only by titles held but by exemplary lives lived, lives that inspire, influence, and drive change across generations,” he stated.

He further outlined the hallmarks of responsible leadership: being in touch with the people, accepting responsibility for their challenges, mobilizing resources for their welfare, building and rebuilding systems and structures, and fostering human development.

According to him, “A leader is a generational asset. When someone is a leader, his presence is felt, his absence is noticed and people experience the positivity of his impact.”

“Leadership is ultimately about the people. It is very, very important, absolutely crucial.
“Vision is the key. Nobody has the right to be followed if they do not know where they are going.
“What makes a leader is sharp vision and clarity of direction. You must know where you are going and where you are taking your people.
“The strength of your vision determines the strength of your leadership. The stronger your vision, the stronger your leadership.
“So, the question every leader must ask is: What is my vision? Where am I going? Where do I want to take my people?

“I once heard that the whole world will stand aside to allow a man to pass if he knows where he is going.
“When people are at a crossroads, unsure of the way, the one who moves forward confidently naturally leads everyone else.
“That is the difference between functional leaders and positional leaders. Functional leaders know where they are going; they chart a clear course: “This is where we are now.

This is where we are going. By this time next year, this is where we will be.”
“Look at global companies like Toyota—they plan 10, 20, 50, even 100 years ahead. Clear leadership requires a clear vision.

In her remarks, the Minister of Kampala, Hon. Minsa Kabanda, expressed gratitude for Dr Enenche’s teaching, noting its relevance and depth.

“I have enjoyed the teaching from Pastor Paul. It was part of us. The summary was about acceptance of responsibility. Being a minister is not a simple issue, you meet different people of faith and tribe. We need your prayers,” she said.

Paul Adama Clears Air on Comedian Enenche's Relationship with Pastor Paul Enenche.

The convener of, Concerned Christian Youths, has debunked claims that comedian Enenche Enenche is the brother of Pastor Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre (DIGC).

The group's convener, Paul Adama James, clarified that Enenche Enenche's real name is Peter Obonyilo, and he is not related to Pastor Paul Enenche.

According to James, Enenche Enenche hails from Okpokwu Local Government Area of Benue State, while Pastor Paul Enenche is from Ogbadibo Local Government Area of the same state.

This clarification has put to rest speculations about the comedian's relationship with the renowned pastor.

It would be recalled that SaharaReporters had in a misleading report, published on January 13, 2024, that Police remanded two brothers of the Senior Pastor of Dunamis church, a report that has attracted widespread outrage form Nigerians.

Meanwhile, the group has expressed outrage over online attacks targeting the Christian faith and its clerics in Nigeria. The group's leader, Adama Paul James, condemned the disparaging statements, libelous claims, and malicious attacks spread through social media platforms and blogs.

James specifically mentioned Abraham Daniel, a self-proclaimed humanist, who has repeatedly insulted men of God, made defamatory statements about the Church, and described Christianity as a scam. James emphasized that such actions are not only reckless but also capable of inciting religious tensions in an already fragile nation.

"The blatant abuse of social media poses a grave threat to religious harmony and national peace," James said. "We cannot fold our arms and watch as some individuals perpetuate hatred and intolerance against the Christian faith and its leaders."

The group called on authorities to identify and prosecute those who misuse social media to incite religious tension and propagate lies. James clarified that this is not a battle against free speech but against the abuse of free speech to promote hatred, falsehood, and religious intolerance.

"We urge the authorities to take decisive action against those who seek to undermine our collective peace and security," James said. "We will not tolerate the perpetuation of falsehood and hatred against the Christian faith and its leaders."

In a related development, James has taken responsibility for the arrest of Abraham Daniel, a former pastor of Dunamis Church, who was sacked and disgraced. James stated that Daniel's arrest was made possible by the group's efforts, citing the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, ETC) ACT 2015, which has explicit provisions against cybercrimes, including cyber-bullying.

According to James, Daniel's actions constituted a clear breach of the Cybercrimes Act, and the group will not hesitate to take further action against anyone who perpetuates similar offenses.

"We will continue to monitor the activities of individuals who seek to undermine the Christian faith and its leaders," James said. "We will not tolerate the perpetuation of falsehood and hatred, and we will take decisive action against anyone who breaches the law."

James emphasised that the group will not tolerate further twisting of the narrative and falsehoods being peddled by malicious publications. He warned that the group will vehemently resist such attempts and take further legal actions if necessary.

The leader of concerned Christian youths, James Paul Adama has given details and taken full responsibility for the arrest of a former sacked and disgraced dunamis church pastor Abraham Daniel.

In a statement made available to journalists, Adama said; "Our attention has been drawn to some online publications purportedly claiming that some individuals were arrested by or at the instance of a certain revered man of God".

"Nothing can be farther from the truth. We would like to sensitize the public to treat such publications as egregiously malicious, inciteful and fallacious with the intention of swaying attention from the truth".

"The individuals in question are cyber bullies who have been attacking the Christian Faith and reputable Christian leaders in Nigeria. Those publications are being peddled by the same acrimonious agents in furtherance of their nefarious agenda against the Christian Faith and Christian leaders in Nigeria".

Speaking further, Adama said; "The arrests were rather made by us, Concerned Christian Youths and Spiritual Sons of the Faith. And we invoked the relevant provisions of the Law against cybercrimes".

"The Legal Basis for the ArrestsThe Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, ETC) ACT 2015 with the Amendment Act, 2024 have explicit, unambiguous provisions against cybercrimes, including cyber-bullying. Section 24 sub-section (1) provides that, “A person who knowingly or intentionally sends a message or other matter by means of computer systems or Network that –(b) he knows to be false, for the purpose of causing annoyance, inconvenience, danger, obstruction, insult, injury, criminal intimidation, enmity, hatred, ill will or needless anxiety to another or causes such a message to be sent. Commits an offence under this Acts and is liable on conviction to imprisonment for a term of not more than 3 years…”Similarly, Section 24 Sub-section 2 provides that, “A person who knowingly or intentionally Transmits or causes the Transmission of any communication through a computer system or Network – To bully, threaten or harass another person, where such communication places another person in fear of death, violence or bodily harm to another person; (c) containing any threat to harm the property or reputation of the addressee or of another or the reputation of a deceased person or any threat to accuse the addressee or any other person of a crime, to extort from any person, firm, association or corporation, any money or other thing of value, commits an offence under this Act, and is liable on conviction – In the case of paragraph (a) and (b) of this sub-section, to imprisonment for a term of this sub-section, to imprisonment for a term of 10 years…, and, In the case of paragraph (C) of this sub-section, to imprisonment for a term of 5 years.”

"Following the provisions of this Act, the Nigerian Police Force in December 2024 declared cyberbullying as a criminal offence punishable by Law. Thus, the activities of the arrested individuals made them liable to prosecution and conviction under the provisions of this Act as highlighted above, and that is the reason for their arrest".

Adama emphasized and concluded that; "we want to reiterate the fact that the publicized arrests were made by us and not by any man of God as purported by those malicious publications.

Therefore, any attempt to further twist the narrative and force falsehood down the throats of the public will be vehemently resisted, if necessary, with further legal actions using applicable provisions of the Law".

The Senior Pastors of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche and Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche,have extended free welfare assistance to over 5,000 people, including 540 widows, through the church’s welfare department as part of their Christmas outreach.

Speaking during the Christmas Communion Service, Dr. Paul Enenche emphasized the importance of living a life of impact.
He remarked, *“Making a meaning is superior to making a living, and making an impact is superior to making an income.”*

Dr. Enenche further highlighted the essence of Christmas, describing it as a demonstration of God’s unconditional love through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. Quoting John 3:16 and Romans 5:5-8, he said, *“By the death of Christ, we see the ultimate expression of unconditional love. Even when we were undeserving, God sent His only Son to save us.”*

At the welfare distribution, Mrs. Osinachi Egboga of the Dunamis Welfare Department commended the Senior Pastors’ consistent commitment to assisting those in need. She noted, *“Dr. Paul and Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche have made the welfare of people their priority, demonstrating this love year after year.”*

Dr. Mrs. Josephine Ogazi, coordinator of the Women of Destiny group, added that since 2011, the Senior Pastors have ministered to widows every Christmas, assisting with school fees, empowerment initiatives, and other needs.

Grateful beneficiaries expressed their appreciation. Augustina Nwazue, a widow, said, *“I am very happy. Look at how everyone is carrying their gifts with joy. The proponent of the proposed national commission for the co-ordination and control of the proliferation against small arms, ammunitions and light weapons in Nigeria, NATCOM Dr. Baba Mohammed has congratulated Christian faithful and indeed Nigerians on the celebration of this year’s Christmas.

Dr. Mohammed in a press statement issued in Abuja said, "it is a celebration of God’s love and mercy to mankind.”

The NATCOM bill proponent Dr. Baba Mohammed who is also the Madaki of Ankpa noted that the celebration of Christmas, is not merely a fanfare but an admonition to the people to have forbearance and show compassion in every situation.

The Madakin Ankpa in the spirit of the Christmas celebration called on governments at all levels to be deliberate in initiating measures that will ease the economic hardship, insecurity and other social vices that confront Nigerians.

He however sued for calm, patience and tolerance on the part of citizens especially in the face of the Tinubu led government to put Nigeria in its pride of place.

The NATCOM bill proponent specially felicitated with president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, his Vice, Kashim Shettima, the leadership of the national assembly and the secretary to the government of the federation Senator George Akume on the occasion of Christmas.

The rest are the chief of staff to the president RT. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, the national security adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and the chief of defence staff, General Christopher Musa and other service chiefs, expressing confidence that Nigeria shall be great again under president Tinubu.

It will be recalled that the NATCOM bill proposed by Dr. Baba Mohammed is in line with ECOWAS convention 2006 and to which Nigeria is a signatory.

The Senior Pastors of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Dr. Paul Enenche, and his wife, Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche, made a significant humanitarian visit to the Kuje Medium Security Correctional Centre in Abuja. The visit, which took place earlier today, was marked by the couple's outreach to the inmates and the provision of free legal services through a team of distinguished lawyers.

The legal team, which included P.H. Ogbulu (SAN), Barrister Felix Tyokase, Barrister Lydia Jim Ibu, and others, accompanied the Enenches to extend legal support to inmates who might benefit from assistance in securing their release.

At the facility’s Chapel of Freedom, Dr. Paul Enenche delivered a powerful sermon titled *"The Forces of Freedom"*. He highlighted transformative forces such as the knowledge of God, realization of the truth, alignment of mentality, right associations, vision, the power of the Holy Spirit, praise, and prophetic impartation.

“Liberty happens when mentality is changed,” Dr. Enenche told the inmates. “Your impact after here can delete your setbacks, and if your prison doesn’t stop your praise, your praise will bring you out of your prison.”

Dr. Becky Enenche also took the opportunity to minister to the inmates. She prayed earnestly against addictions and ancestral curses, emphasizing the transformative power of faith and prayer.

Speaking on behalf of the legal team, one of the representatives said: “We are here on behalf of God’s servants, Dr. Paul Enenche and his handmaiden, Dr. Mrs. Becky Enenche, to offer free legal services to inmates and help secure the release of those eligible through legal processes.”

The public relations officer of the correctional facility, AS Duza, expressed gratitude for the visit, commending the Enenches for their compassion and generosity. He led the couple on a tour of various skill acquisition programs in the facility, including tailoring, laundry, shoemaking, soap making, and salon services.

Senior officers of the correctional facility, including DCC Aminu Abubakar, CSC Oke, Chibuzor Ogunde, AC Yakubu, Sarki Norma, and the chapel’s chaplain, warmly received the guests upon arrival.

A highlight of the visit was the presentation of food supplies and relief materials to the inmates by the Enenches. The gesture brought smiles to the faces of many inmates, further solidifying the impact of the visit.

Speaking to the inmates at the facility's Chapel of freedom, the senior pastor Dr. Paul Enenche preached on the message titled: "The Forces Of Freedom".

In a statement made available to journalists; Godwin said "I wish to express my sincere apologies for my defamatory, abusive and hurtful statements against Dr Paul & Dr Mrs Becky Enenche".

"It has become clear to me that, my words were not only misleading and fallacious but intensive, hurtful, damaging and completely unacceptable. I have also realized that my actions were motivated by malice, prejudice and ignorance. And being thus instigated by hate and bitterness, I acted inbreach of their fundamental human rights, especially their right to personal dignity. I never knew that my actions amounted to cyber bullying which is punishable with imprisonment without an option of fine, and this made me liable to imprisonment".

Speaking further, Ikuru said " a member of Dunamis international gospel centre invoked the provisions of this law, got me arrested and charge to court".

"Thus, i owe my freedom to the leniency of Dr Paul Enenche and his wife to intervene in this case and temper justice with mercy as i acted in ignorance of the law. This should also serve as a deterrence to all those who engage in cyber bullying, especially against reputable and genuine men of God and fathers of faith in Nigeria to desist from their nefarious acts or face the wrath of the law".

"I wish to reiterate the fact that, Dr Paul Enenche and his wife Dr Mrs Becky Enenche never offended me in any way, and that any negative statement i made against them in those unfortunate videos are unfounded and untrue. They are reputable servants of God and i hold them in high esteem".

NATCOM Bill Propounder Warns Nigerians To Beware Of  Fraudsters and Impersonators....... Says ban on activities still in force.
 
The bill Propounder of the proposed National Commission for the Co-ordination and Control of Proliferation of Small Arms and Light Weapons, NATCOM, Dr. Baba Mohammed who is also the Madaki of Ankpa has issued stern warning to unsuspecting Nigerians to beware of fraudsters as the suspension on NATCOM operations remain in force.

In a statement of disclaimer issued in Abuja, the NATCOM Bill Propounder distance self and the proposed commission from any proposed biometric or data capturing onbehalf of NATCOM by some criminal elements.

The statement added that any transaction with the unknown criminal elements is at the peril of whoever deals with them.

As a law abiding organization, NATCOM will continue to await further action by Mr president towards the realization of the commision which is inline with ECOWAS Convention which Nigeria is signatory.

Anyone or group of persons found wanting in impersonating the proposed NATCOM which activities are yet to commence shall face the full wrath of the law, Dr Baba Mohammed emphasized.

Propounder of NATCOM bill Dr Baba Mohammed who is also the Madaki of Ankpa in a statement issued in Abuja expressed the joy that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu is already delivering on his renewed hope agenda.

The bill Propounder acknowledges the pivotal role of vice President Kashim Shetimma, president of the senate , Senator Godswill Akpabio, speaker of the house of representatives Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abass and secretary to the government of the federation Senator George Akume in initiating the comprehensive rehabilitation of all refineries in the country.

Furthermore, the Madakin Ankpa commends the chief of staff to the president Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila, national security adviser Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the chief of defence staff general Christopher Musa and other service chiefs and the director General of the department of State services Mr Adeola Oluwatosin Ajayi for their support to the Tinubu led administration.

In a statement by the Media Aid to the NATCOM Bill Propounder David Olaitan described the death of the late Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja as not only a profound loss to his immediate family but to Nigeria as a whole especially at this point in his life and career.

Dr. Baba Mohammed eulogised the late Chief of Army staff as a fine officer and a dedicated leader of men whose sense of patriotism was exemplary, saying his vigorous effort at the frontline of war to end banditry and insurgency has already borne good fruits and it is unfortunate that he would not be around to see it through.
