As the urge Nigerians to remain supportive of president TINUBU'S administration

A united states of America based faith foundation under its church, Peacemakers evangelical ministries is urging Nigerians to Accord the present administration of president Bola Tinubu the needed support and cooperation for it to achieve its lofty renewed hope programmes for the citizenry.

This was at a peace prayer conference for the nation's continued peace, progress and stability.

Convener of the prayer conference Pastor Olushola Adedeji believes that Nigeria's Democracy can only continue to thrive in the face of peaceful coexistence and enjoined leaders at all levels of governance to make that a priority.

With the theme, "salting the nation", participants say, Nigeria's Democracy is a work in progress and do not require inimical acts that could retard the progress so far made.

While urging peace with one another and respect for constituted authorities, special supplications were offered for the nation using the first family president Bola Tinubu as a point of contact.

Another special prayer session was offered for first lady, Pastor, Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her supportive efforts towards the success of the Tinubu led government.

For over a decade, the Olatokunbo Foundation has been a steadfast pillar of support and hope for financially challenged and vulnerable children, since its inception, the foundation has initiated numerous impactful projects, each aiming to uplift the lives of the underprivileged.

In a statement made available to newsmen, The foundation's selfless founder, Otunba Abiola Olatokunbo, said, they're deeply committed to helping those who are disadvantaged, dedicating time and resources to this noble cause.

Speaking further, Abiola highlighted, Key Yearly Initiatives of the Foundation to include; 30 Scholarships for Students, Providing scholarships to students in primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, producing six graduates already, Yearly Faith Outreach: Distributing provisions and foodstuffs to widows during the Ileya, Easter, and Christmas festivals, Vocational Training Programs:Offering training in various skills to equip youths for economic independence, Sports Development Projects:Supporting talent hunts and development in various sports.

Abiola stressed that, the Mentorship Projects in Secondary Schools: Including menstrual hygiene talks in girls' schools in Surulere, Visits to Orphanages:Regularly visiting orphanages to provide care and support, Yearly Welcome Back to School, Project:Distributing bags, books, and other educational materials to students.

In addition, on Saturday, July 13th, the Olatokunbo Foundation reaffirmed its commitment to these causes with a significant charity project at the Oshodi/Isolo local government area.

The event, themed; "Fortified for Impact," was not just a celebration of the birthday of the Foundation’s founder, Otunba Abiola Olatokunbo, but a comprehensive demonstration of the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to community empowerment and development.

This community-based initiative empowered 40 families, improving their living standards above the poverty line by providing educational bursaries, cash gifts, and 300 bags of rice to the residents of Oshodi in Lagos State, Nigeria.

The charity project was a significant undertaking, distributing a bursary of 150,000 naira each to 10 indigent students across primary to tertiary institutions.

Additionally, 30 empowerment kits were handed out, including: Sewing machines, Complete commercial makeup boxes,- Barbing kits, Grinding machines.

These tools were provided to help improve the economic independence of the recipients and their families.

And on the community engagement and celebration, the event saw a robust turnout, with representatives from government agencies, the local government chairman (ably represented by the secretary to the LGA), members of the legislative arm of the LGA, thespians from the entertainment industry, the incoming national chairman of the NURTW, community leaders, religious leaders, student advocacy groups, and other notable members of society in attendance.

In his speech at the event, Otunba Abiola Olatokunbo emphasized the importance of private citizens supporting and complementing government efforts through similar initiatives.

The senior pastor of Dominion Power Assembly International (DOPA), Pastor Paul Odola has stated categorically that, Abel Damina should be held responsible if anything happens to his family.

Speaking recently in a live video and broadcast, Odala said "I am doing this video in reposnse to some of the very malicious publications that I've seen on the social media all in the attempt to tarnish my image and, rubbish my personality because i have come out to publicly deny and correct the false allegations that, Dr Abel Damina ordained Dr Paul Enenche into ministry, looking at the pictures on my facebook, what happened in 1996 was not an ordination service, I want to say this categorically, it was an official prayer to license me as the cordinator of International charismatic ministers association (ICMA) in bauchi state, that was prayer was not an ordination".

Speaking further, he streseed " I want to say this also, that doctrinal teachings has completely done damage to my family and I want to ask that Dr Abel Damina should leave my family alone, to encourage another man's wife to be arrogant, insurbodinate, rebellious and to attend your crusade personally without the express permission of her husband whether it is the Tafa Balewa crusade in Bauchi without my permission or the Jos crusade you held, she went without my permission".

"I want the world to know that, no man of God will encourage another man's wife to be so insurbodinate, arrogant, rebellious so if anything happens to my family, i want to say at this point, Dr Abel Damina should held responsible because he's encouraging and supporting such level of insurnodination and lack of submission, rebellious approach to family issues and if anything happens further i think he should be responsible and i want to also say categorically that, I have asked my lawyers to review all the comments, posts, all the libelious allegations against me and anyone found to be unfounded with which most virtually all are, i am going to take them legally on without reservations and if anybody is putting any claim out there, he should be ready and have proper evidences for them otherwise, we will meet in court".

*GMBNI---a beacon of hope for many*

The present day situation in Nigeria requires a deep sense of love, care and compassion for the less fortunate.

Grassroots mobilizers for better Nigeria, a non governmental organization popularly known as GMBNI is endeared to countless hearts and homes, providing succour in various fields of human endeavors.

Founded by Amb. Dr. Fatima Mohammed Goni, a pan Nigeria woman from Borno state aims to provide support for the less privileged in society living in the rural areas and most especially the Tsangaya/Out of School Children (Almajiri) in Northern Nigeria by providing them with access to education, healthcare, and basic necessities.

The initiative's gesture is also further enlarged to assist more less fortunate Nigerians regardless of socio-economic, tribal , ethnic and religious backgrounds.

The certified non governmental organization with operational license now has a wider scope as it took the bull by the horns to provide succour to the affected persons and communities as recently demonstrated in Jigawa state where it inaugurated a revived dilapidated school as well as eleven open wells to provide portable water for residents of hard reach rural communities.

While in Dutse, Jigawa state, Ambassador Fatima Mohammed Goni and her team were accompanied by the members of the Jigawa chapter of GMBNI on a courtesy visit to the Emir of Dutse, Muhammad Nuhu Sanusi where the royal father appreciated the philanthropic efforts of the GMBNI.

Worthy of note is the fact that the Almajiri system in Northern Nigeria is a cultural and religious practice that has existed for centuries.

This system involves sending young boys to Islamic schools, where they receive religious education and training.

However, many of these children are neglected and deprived of basic necessities, such as food, shelter, and healthcare.

These children are left to fend for themselves, and they are often forced to beg on the streets to survive.

GMBNI was moved in this direction to enroll some of them in Nasarawa state into formal school.

The initiative took the responsibility of providing teachers, uniforms, books and bags to the school pupils.

With building of worship centres for both Muslims and Christian communities as a way of life to Ambassador Fatima Mohammed Goni, the gesture has also been extended to public burial grounds for both religions, keeping the places out of weeds and construction of drainages to prevent erosion.

Provision of succour to internally displaced persons in Borno State is another intervention where Befitting blocks of buildings with necessary essentials ranging from boreholes and solar energy are also provided to make life comfortable for them.

To achieve its mission, GMBNI is seeking funding and support from various donor organizations and good spirited individuals as the founder who has been shouldering the entire projects executed from her personal purse is poised to do more.

In a significant move to combat unemployment and hardship in the land, Dunamis International Gospel Centre has successfully empowered and equipped 451 Nigerians with various vocational skills.

This initiative, aimed at empowering both youths and retirees, underscores the church's commitment to societal development and reducing unemployment.

The training covered diverse areas including bag making, cooking of local dishes, catering, fashion design, hair styling, web and graphic design, paint production, shoe making, poultry farming, solar installation, photography, and photo editing etc.

The church also empowered the beneficiaries with essential items such as sewing machines, washing machines, ovens, food supplies, and start-up funds to help them become self-reliant entrepreneurs.

*Eid-el-Kabir: NATCOM bill proponent celebrates with Nigerian Muslims, preaches unity, sacrifice, love and peace*.

The proponent of the proposed national commission for the co-ordination and control of the proliferation against small arms , ammunitions ,light weapons and pipeline vandalism in Nigeria, NATCOM Dr. Baba Mohammed has congratulated fellow Muslim faithful and indeed Nigerians on the celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Kabir festival.

Dr. Mohammed in a press statement issued in Abuja said, "it is a celebration of God’s love and mercy to mankind.”

The NATCOM bill proponent Dr. Baba Mohammed who is also the Madaki of Ankpa noted that the celebration of Eid, as stated in the scriptures, is not merely a fanfare but an admonition to the people to have forbearance and show compassion in every situation.

The Madakin Ankpa in the spirit of the Eid celebration called on governments at all levels to be deliberate in initiating measures that will ease the economic hardship, insecurity and other social vices that confront Nigerians.

He however sued for calm , patience and tolerance on the part of citizens especially in the face of the Tinubu led government to put Nigeria in its pride of place.

The proponent of the proposed National Commission for the Co-ordination and Control of the Proliferation against Small Arms , Ammunitions, Light Weapons and Pipeline Vandalism in Nigeria, NATCOM , Dr. Baba Mohammed, FCNA, has reacted to various comments, reactions, messages, and posts on some social media platforms in response to the publication issued by the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) to the President regarding the alleged illegal activities of certain individuals claiming affiliation with NATCOM.

In a statement issued in Abuja, the Co-ordinating Director of human resources of the proposed commission Mr David Olaitan restated that Dr. Baba Mohammed is a staunch supporter of proper procedures, an adept administrator and a law-abiding citizen.

As such, the statement categorically distances him from such remarks, reactions, and publications.

It cautions all self-proclaimed members of NATCOM and the general public against misrepresenting his character or the proposed NATCOM.

The statement further warns that anyone found engaging in such behavior will be subject to legal consequences and that Dr. Baba Mohammed holds the Office of the NSA in high regard and as well committed to upholding its directives without exception.

AGABA IDUH FIDEL REMAINS SUSPENDED.

*No Vote Of Confidence On Him As Acting Director General (DG) Of NATCOM.*

The provost of the National Commission for the Co-ordination and Control of the proliferation against Small Arms, Ammunitions, Light Weapons and Pipeline Vandalism in Nigeria, Silas Uchendu Ihemeremadu has reacted to a purported vote of confidence on one AGABA IDUH FIDEL as the Acting Director General of "NATCOM".

In a statement issued in Abuja, Mr.
Ihemeremadu described the purported endorsement as fake.

It may be recalled that this same AGABA IDUH FIDEL is one of those who were suspended from NATCOM office in year 2023 by the disciplinary committee instituted by the management of the Organization for abuse of office and extortion of money from some gullible members of the public and he remains suspended till date.

Some weeks ago, one Otumba Adejare Adegbenro Nurudeen was caught for organising a fake three day sensitization, orientation and awareness training for some officers and men in Abuja, FCT.

During the program, he allegedly extorted N5,500:00 for documentation from each of them.

He was arrested by the Small Arms, Ammunitions and Light Weapons Team of the of Nigeria Police Force in Abuja, FCT for his illegal activities and he is still being investigated at the headquarters of the police force in Abuja.

The proponent of NATCOM BILL that was passed into law by the 9th and 10th National Assembly respectfully Dr Baba Mohammed advised members of the public not to engage themselves in any illegal activities tantamount to threatening the peace of Nigeria as such defaulters will be punished by the law of the Federation.

He encouraged those who have genuine letters of appointment signed by Dr Baba Mohammed (fcna) to be patient for their orientation, and training when His Excellency, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR), President and Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria magnanimously signs NATCOM BILL into law and graciously announces Dr Baba Mohammed as the Director General and Chief Executive Officer of NATCOM or the Executive Chairman of NATCOM.

*NBA President Maikyau Commends Pastor Enenche For Questioning ‘B.Sc In Law’ Testimony*

The NBA President stressed that the legal profession does not recognize a B.Sc in Law and the cleric was not Wrong to question Ms Vera Anyim On The Pulpit.

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Yakubu Maikyau, has said that the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, DIGC, Dr. Paul Enenche was not wrong for questioning the authenticity of a testimony by one Vera Anyim at the Glory Dome Abuja, last Sunday.

Recall that Vera came on the altar of Dunamis Church in Abuja to share a testimony on how God made her the “only graduate in her family”.

During the testimony, Vera said she graduated with a “BSc in Law” from NOUN. Pastor Enenche asked what kind of degree she graduated with and she said ‘’B.Sc in Law.” The clergyman accused Vera of lying.

The development sparked a nationwide outrage, with divergent opinions from Nigerians.

Apologizing, Enenche said his action was based on his and the church’s aversion to seeming mediocrity and any appearance of untruth.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Maikyau said what Enenche said was complimentary of the legal profession.

According to him, "I was privileged to watch that video. A woman who stood up in church and supposedly was giving a testimony of how she went through challenges and now has graduated from open university.

"And the man of God sitting in that congregation sensed that there was something wrong in the supposed testimony.

"What he said is something that is complimentary of the legal profession in a way. Because he said the way the person who was testifying spoke, the English that she spoke, bad as the situation may be, was not reflective of an English spoken by a lawyer.

"That was why he now posed the question. And himself also acting like a lawyer that has mastered the skills of cross-examination and asked her to describe the degree, the person said B.sc in law.

"Should we be answering the question whether there is B.sc in law? I don’t think so. It is not the council of legal education that said so. It is not the body of benchers that called lawyers to the bar that says you have B.sc.

"It is not NBA that said so. The person who attempted to arrogate B.sc law to herself was found to have lied. Should we really be wasting time on someone who has lied? And of course, everyone knows that the degree in law is never described like that.

"It is not B.sc. Testimony: Dr Paul Enenche Not Wrong to question Ms Vera Anyim On The Pulpit — NBA President

The President of the Nigerian Bar Association, NBA, Yakubu Maikyau, has said that the Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, DIGC, Dr. Paul Enenche was not wrong for questioning the authenticity of a testimony by one Vera Anyim at the Glory Dome Abuja, last Sunday.

Recall that Vera came on the altar of Dunamis Church in Abuja to share a testimony on how God made her the “only graduate in her family”.

During the testimony, Vera said she graduated with a “BSc in Law” from NOUN. Pastor Enenche asked what kind of degree she graduated with and she said ‘’B.Sc in Law.” The clergyman accused Vera of lying.

The development sparked a nationwide outrage, with divergent opinions from Nigerians.

Apologizing, Enenche said his action was based on his and the church’s aversion to seeming mediocrity and any appearance of untruth.

Speaking at a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, Maikyau said what Enenche said was complimentary of the legal profession.

According to him, "I was privileged to watch that video. A woman who stood up in church and supposedly was giving a testimony of how she went through challenges and now has graduated from open university.

"And the man of God sitting in that congregation sensed that there was something wrong in the supposed testimony.

"What he said is something that is complimentary of the legal profession in a way. Because he said the way the person who was testifying spoke, the English that she spoke, bad as the situation may be, was not reflective of an English spoken by a lawyer.

"That was why he now posed the question. And himself also acting like a lawyer that has mastered the skills of cross-examination and asked her to describe the degree, the person said B.sc in law.

"Should we be answering the question whether there is B.sc in law? I don’t think so. It is not the council of legal education that said so. It is not the body of benchers that called lawyers to the bar that says you have B.sc.

"It is not NBA that said so. The person who attempted to arrogate B.sc law to herself was found to have lied. Should we really be wasting time on someone who has lied? And of course, everyone knows that the degree in law is never described like that.

"It is not B.sc. Group Applauds President Tinubu's Policies, Calls for Betta Edu's Reinstatement

The National Chairman of the defunct Sustainable National Party and founder of the Sustainable National Movement, Kayode Arimoro, is confident that the present administration's economic policies will reposition Nigeria to its pride of place among the comity of nations.

He was reacting to various developmental initiatives of government and called for patience on the part of the citizenry.

Kayode Arimoro believes that the job of governance is a collective responsibility after every election.

Therefore, there is a need for all to rally round in support of the Tinubu administration to enable it to deliver on its renewed hope agenda.

On the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu, Arimoro urged President Tinubu to be dispassionate in basing his decisions on conflicting media coverage because, as the Commander in Chief, he has full details of the facts and fictions of the matter.

Reinstating Dr. Betta Edu, who has done exceptionally well within the first 100 days in that position and has a proven track record of going through the nooks and crannies of our dear country to put smiles on the faces of vulnerable people, is the way to go, Arimoro re-emphasized.

He added that, however, let it be clearly stated that the suspended Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Dr. Betta Edu’s Ministry, is being investigated for transactions that predated her appointment as minister.
