It gave me an insight to observe the "score tsunami" from another angle, that is people who are going for less competitive course and had score in excess of what is required are made to part away with a substantial mark to give room to people who need few marks to make the cut off of their competitive course.

I believe The end will justify the means. Hope there is nothing to be afraid of in the next stage of the admission process? Because I can't trust ABU wholeheartedly again.
