lavylilly: “Every year teaches us something. What’s the one decision you made this year that changed your life—and what did it teach you?”
Last December, I got TWO remote jobs that paid a little over ₦400k per month combined. My goal was to save ₦2.4 million by the end of the year, but I managed to save ₦1 million — falling short by ₦1.2 million. Still, the process taught me real financial discipline. Please what skills are you using to get remote jobs. I want to learn a remote marketable skill
I also stopped entertaining men chasing me because I realized many had little to offer, and choosing myself helped me embrace a stronger sense of moral chastity. |

ibechris: Very true.
That is one reality many has refused to accept. no body is denying that fact but where's that opportunity in Nigeria? When majority can't even afford a daily meal. Govt not paying well or care about the welfare of civil servants, private sectors are using staff like slave except you are at the management level. |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Why You Don't Need To Fully Depend On Your Pension When You Retire by Iseddy: 1:40pm On Dec 09, 2025 |
DanielJones: I used to know a senior civil servant who was saving money and buying properties around my area back then in Lagos. When he was close to retirement, he was very sick. I didn't know the actual nature of his sickness because I wasn't too close to him or his family. Soon, he started selling all his properties and savings till he sold his last house where he lived with his family. He was lucky to survive the sickness because he had enough to get quality medication and medical attention but he ended up starting from zero at old age. His children weren't even helpful too. I am not even sure if he is still alive because he was just struggling to live when I left the area. This is why I always say that while you save, invest and plan for retirement, always pray for good health and try to live healthily too. Eat well, hang out with people who would make you happy and never forget to put your trust and hope in God. Forget all these financial analysts, this life is more spiritual than they seem to see it. May God let us end well. Good health is underrated. Everyday I keep thanking God for good health. I work in the hospital so I know what families are facing. |

Very cunning virus. If no be white man, the thing for don wipe out black people. If no be white man you said? Who created the monster virus in the first place? |
Health › Re: HIV: Myths Vs. Realities by Iseddy: 1:09pm On Nov 13, 2025 |
alphaconde: I have always wanted to ask a question
Since HIV medicine boost immunity why can non HIV carriers take the drug to boost their immunity ARVs do not work like vitamins or immune boosters. Their main job is to stop the HIV virus from multiplying. When HIV is controlled, the immune system (especially CD4 cells) has a chance to recover naturally. So, it’s not that the drugs strengthen the immune system, they just remove what’s weakening your immune. So for non-HIV people, there’s no virus to suppress. If you don’t have HIV, your immune system isn’t under attack from the virus, so taking HIV medicine won’t give you any benefit. Might even cause harm to your liver. |

Confused people, you said applicants can check their application status on the website, then on the website you said applicants should check their emails and text messages in coming weeks. Why not make everything transparent, announce slot for each stage then let all the applicants from that state write the CBT exam, publish the score let everyone see their performance, then select only those who earned it. In this way nobody will accuse the system of being biased |

It's funny how a lot of people here are reacting to this. You think you know better and well exposed than those who agreed to give them the place to pray? One thing I love about the catholic church is the way they welcome and accept everyone. Just because a particular religion or people are doing what is not right doesn't mean you should copy their way. Catholic church is leading when it comes to ensuring peace in the world. Who knows if this gesture will give birth to the establishment of church in Mecca. |
