The natural resources that our country (Nigeria) is blessed with, do they (South Africa) have them in the same measure Why not also compare the corruption rate. If you really want Nigerians to pay 40% tax. If the government can reasonably minimize or wipe out corruption or even reduce government wastages, development can come with even minimal tax. Nigerians are very ready to pay any amount, e.g after the whole noise about fuel subsidy, are Nigerians not paying today?
