Nigerians can pull out stories from the blue. Some body using his pit toilet in Abakaliki will tell you why Daura did this as if he was there in SS Office when they were planning it. Another one in okokomaiko will be scratching her itchy attachment and confidently give false witness as if she was there in VPs office. |
only a rat with the sense of an ant would actually there is more corruption today than there actually was during the IBB and Abacha era. In those days, oil blocs were given to friends cronies and girlfriends. Civil servants and pensioners received peanuts and could only hope they would get paid. Nnpc and oil ministries, key parastatals were filled with gworo chewing semi literate boneheads who ran those organisations to the ground. |
odyx:you are liar from hell, which free education, water and health ? You see people selling jerricans of water all over the town is that water to you ? Which schools are you referring to when half the population at the venue where children of school age in rags ? honestly all those against sovereign national conference need to visit these areas and see the liability these people will become in the future. It's not like they're not already a liability. His aides were busy sharing magazines on how he fed poor people during fasting as part of the government's accomplishments. In the journey back we kept laughing cos even the road to the venue where the program was held had been apparently tarred only a few days before. |

For lack of a better term i used nuclear war, forgive me. It was nice and mature.
|
For lack of a better word i used nuclear .It was peaceful with the protesters knowing who the real enemies are, the bad people punishing them with expensive fuel. Sorry again for the alarming title, the pictures are in the other thread with similar title. |
^^^^ hehehe |
why should they go about burning properties of innocent people ? |
Tsiya:boko didn't exist but extremists did. |
I agree with you on this. But do you think fuel subsidy would totally solve thatMy friend, to be honest with you that alone will not solve the problem. In fact this is not even one the reasons why the fuel subsidy is coming off, but let us least start doing things right in our lives. Isn't an extra 100 naira per kilometer worth the security of being killed while you worship in peace ? America checked terrorism not by force alone but by strangling the channels al qaeda was being funded. We will suffer a bit, no doubt, but let us start doing the right things first and stop hoping one Messiah will coke and fix the country us |
abacus:a fool is one who is quick to speak without understanding my brother. |
Fellow Nigerians, bokoharam are able to purchase weapons and other materials through resources they got from oil diversion. Many of these Islamic extremists in the far north have their networks in Niger and Chad, when they divert petrol bought at 63naira in Nigeria, it is then smuggled outside and sold at over 170naira if you convert the rate. Through these monies, arms and ammunition are then bought. Sometimes the petrol is bartered directly for bullets and explosives in Chad. One tanker can provide you with over 50. submachine guns and hundreds of thousands of Russian and Eastern European made live munitions brought in via Algeria, Libya and Sudan. I'll type more later, i don't want to get caught. |
Merry Xmas gooners, good things ahead for us as we go forward ![]() |
My son, it is because the children are living in the same illusion their parents lived in. They're proclaiming one Nigeria on NTA screens while their counterparts up north are sponsoring hordes of homeless children in their violent campaigns. Let me tell you something you know but continue to deny. This things happen with the tacit support and approval of the mallams who pay their preachers to spread the word. to their moth and kin. |
They say the truth can never be secret forever, no matter how long you try to hide it. GIDEON ORKAR' legacy lives on why ? Because no matter how drug inspired his coup speech might have sounded, he had a clear vision of what many of us foresaw; that is, the entity called Nigeria was living on borrowed time. It's a pity that the parents of many of the people dying today were the same people who celebrated after the coup was quashed, they wanted Nigeria to remain one indivisible entity. I wonder what they're thinking now as they see children in whom they invested millions in training being killed by people who would have been foreigners to us today. My consolation as i look to the future is the inevitable breakup of this entity in 3 years time. Believe me when i say this break up is inevitable. Already the signs are showing in every socio economic sphere of our daily lives. How we see things on an ethnic. basis has never been more divergent. The parting of this country would have been a more painless process back in Orkars era. Now it will have to be done the good old fashioned way. Through the barrels of a Shot gun. |
Reports coming in say some would be bombers have blown themselves up in kaduna. The bomb is said to have blown up the bombers at a residential area which is giving credence to allegations that most of the bombings in the country have been occurring with the knowledge and approval of a "section" of the public. Good riddance to more illiterates ![]() |

sheyguy: Igbos are always killed but the ignorant ones on NL never seem to or are too ignorant to see |
Do you know that most middle belters, may be except Nupe and Ebira, now hate the term "north" because of Hausa / Fulani ? I wonder why the new generation hate Hausa, Fulani and Kanuri so much ? I think it started with Gideon Orkar and Co |
