The west (christians) imposed Israel in the middle of the Arab world, in doing so they massacred many Muslims, no to even talk of what the crusaders did in Spain; Russia (Christians) invaded Afghanistan and massacred many Muslims and the Mujahids (Taliban) rose up to fight for their freedom, even the USA called them freedom-fighters, they used suicide bombing but were never regarded as terrorists, Yugloslavia (Christians) also went on to massacre thousands of Muslims in Bosnia. Same happened in Kosovo. Yet we are the ones they claim feed on blood!
In recent times America invaded Iraq based on falsehood, thousands of Muslims have been killed, violated, maimed as a result of this; Israel constantly oppresses Palestinians abusing and killing them at will, Palestine remains the only country where its citizens are living as refuges. Are all these scenarios/circumstances not enough for a militia (Al-Qaeda) to rise up to fight for the interest of the Muslims even though their methodologies are questionable. You kill Muslims with impunity, and when they defend themselves you call them terrorists. Coming back home, Muslims are being massacred in Jos, but what do the media carry retaliations by Fulani herdsmen (whom are mostly non-Muslims, but attacked along because of their ethnicity). We acknowledge the existence of extremist amongst us e.g Boko-Haram and the likes, but we are not fooled that we are the villain all the time

Yugloslavia (Christians) also went on to massacre thousands of Muslims in Bosnia: Yes this is an attrocity committed by a xtian ruler,and thats why I respect America, they are sponsoring the prosecution of Miloshevic up till now. Christians didnt cover him up. If miloshevic was a muslim, you muslims will claimed he did the right thing. He did Jihad, remeber Osama Jihad.

5.  Muslims are desperate to conquer territories but they need to relax and watch allah do it himself. The more they try the more bad names.

The leader of Nigeria's Boko Haram Islamist militants has defended recent attacks on Christians, saying they are revenge for killings of Muslims.

In his first video message, posted on YouTube, Abubakar Shekau referred to attacks on Muslims in recent years in several parts of northern Nigeria.

Boko Haram militants attacked several churches on Christmas Day, killing dozens of worshippers.

This has led to some reprisals in the mainly Christian south.

Mosques in two states have been attacked.

Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation with 160 million people, is divided between a largely Muslim north and a south where most people are Christians and some animists.

Thousands of people have fled their homes following the recent attacks, leading some people, including Nigeria's president and the leader of the country's main Christian organisation, to make comparisons with the 1967-70 civil war when leaders of the south-eastern Igbo ethnic group tried to secede.
'Religious cleansing'

Mr Shekau, wearing a red and white turban, a bullet-proof vest and sitting in front of two Kalashnikov rifles, said he was responding to recent statements from Nigeria's President Goodluck Jonathan and the leader of the country's main Christian organisation, the Christian Association of Nigeria.

He warned President Jonathan that Nigeria's security forces would not be able to defeat the group.

Mr Jonathan, a Christian, has declared a state of emergency in some northern states but the attacks have continued.

On Tuesday night, gunmen opened fire on a bar in the northern state of Yobe, killing eight people, including several police officers.

The president recently said that he suspected some officials, politicians and members of the security forces sympathised with Boko Haram.

Defending the latest spate of violence, Mr Shekau referred to the killing of Muslims in places like Jos, Kaduna, Zangon Kataf, Tafawa Balewa in recent years.

Some of these places have seen bitter communal clashes but correspondents say they are often based on long-standing disputes over resources such as land, or are whipped up by politicians, rather than being based on religious differences.

"We are also at war with Christians because the whole world knows what they did to us," Mr Shekau said in the video, speaking in Hausa - the most common language in northern Nigeria.

"They killed our fellows and even ate their flesh in Jos," he said, referring to reports last year of isolated cases of Christian youths burning and eating their rivals in Plateau state, where more than 1,000 people have been killed in a series of clashes over the past two years.

Christian Association of Nigeria head Ayo Oritsejafor said on Saturday that his members would protect themselves against the attacks, which he said suggested "systematic ethnic and religious cleansing".

On Tuesday, he told the BBC World Service there should be dialogue with Muslim leaders to halt the violence.

Mr Shekau said the group could only hold talks with the government in accordance with the teachings of Islam.

He said the group's primary targets remained the security forces, who he said had summarily executed their former leader Mohammed Yusuf after he was arrested in 2009.

"Everyone has seen how we were treated, people have seen what has happened between us and armed security agents and their accomplices who give them information about us," Mr Shekau said.

After a lull, in 2010 the group started to stage drive-by shootings on government targets in its base in the north-eastern city of Maiduguri.

Last year, it carried out suicide bombings on high-profile targets such as the headquarters of the UN and the police in the capital, Abuja.

The group, known locally as Boko Haram meaning "Western education is forbidden", wants to establish Sharia law in Nigeria.

You wrote well. I applaud your objectivity. In fact, you sound wiser than the eldest man in a village square gathering. But we are not talking of what will happen in 20years time or so, we are talking of TODAY and the senseless act going on in some parts of the country.

Do you know what it means for a group of peaceful loving innocent people worshiping to hatched by barbarians for no JUST cause over and over again? How would you feel if your relative was amongst the bereaved?

If my memory serves me right, Africa is larger and growing in population than Europe,yet, they have 50 countries and we have 55 or so. Besides, we had our own numerous kingdoms scattered across great Africa before artificial countries and borders where created. We will leave that to another historic thread.

Nerville Chamberlain went down in history as one of Britian's worst prime minister. Why? When hitler's intention was fully known to the world, Chamberlain initiated his appeasement policy. Before he knew it, Hitler had already captured Czechoslovakia and launched a pre-emptive strike on Poland. That is what you get for thinking you can actually dine with the devil.

PEACE is sacred. War is never good. We all hate to see people die and suffer(women and children) especially INNOCENT beings. But how can one justify the unjustifiable? In this sense, the CARROT and STICK diplomacy have to come into play. When the carrot is eaten without no appreciation or remorse of good. The STICK is obliged to be used. This is life. This is human nature and we are all humans.

We all love life. We hate to see the Nigerian children cry. We all owe them their future. We are all Africans and Blacks. We can't be differentiated outside Africa shores until we tell outsiders our tribes or speak our dialect. We have time to correct things. It is never too late. We all pray for a PEACEFUL resolution.

But the madness must not go on.

Every yoruba family has a muslim or christian. My father is a christian, my mum a muslim. Some of my brothers are christisan, some muslims. Do u expect me to kill my brothers in the name of religion ? that is why yorubas are neutral. yorubas will not join in any tribal/religious war.
