OK. The most useful sats now are Astra and Nigcomsat which are at 28e & 42e respectively but you can get both with 1m but I don't think it's possible on 60cm. So, your combination is good already unless you desire to have only Nigcomsat which lacks stability but very useful and Champions TV at Yamal 49e.

Sorry to quote you. You can have the two even the three on 60cm. I have the pictures on my previous phone. And thats what am using presently. But always make 42e as primary. Den below it you will attach 28e. And Champion above it. Make use of good lnb and good tuner decoder. Here is attached setup by a friend.

I have one 60cm dish, one 90cm dish and 1m dish respectively. I'm thinking they r not properly utilised and will like to reposition the lnbs to watch the following satellites1)7w (2)3w(3)16E (4) 68.5E(5)28.5E, (6)42.5E(7)55E. 90cm for 7w and 3w
1mtr for 28,42,55,and 68e
60cm for 16 and 5e

Or

90cm for 7w and 3w

60cm for 42e and 55e.

Your installer can do DAT. Or if you know how to balance the two signal on one Dish

I bought strong decoder due to a friend who bragged about his strong decoder, In June this year, I went to a decoder dealer to buy strong decoder, he offered me SRT4950E which cost me N15,000. I put the issue of buying dish aside to enable myself study about decoders and strong on internet, especially on nairaland. when I came on board on nairaland, I start having faint interest on decoders upon reading conflicting opinions by commentators. some spoke ill of fta while applauding pay-Tv, some spoke ill of pay-Tv while applauding fta. so the issue of buying dish or to forget about buying dish was like to chose between the devil and the deep blue sea, owing to the fact that I have already purchased strong SRT4950E. this made me to abandon the decoder since June until last week, I decided to install atleast 90cm dish to fulfil all righteousness. since then, I have been enjoying it. the pictures are crystal clear. I watch all mbc's, especially mbc action. fta is not bad like some people painted it. the only down side is that most of the channels do not speak English. maybe I will need another dish for Amos.

You don't need another dish to enjoy Amos. Just look for good installer to help you attach Amos on your already installed MBC. You can use one dish for the two

Am talking of professional satfinder. The one you can use without waiting for NEPA's light and without having to bring the tv outside. But you can also use the other suggested one

Congrats man,me too!I have since moved on to the Tiger series of Decoder.One good thing about them is their dedicated site for regular softwares update.Do you know now that they just released the latest,capable of doing wonder to our " Run away brother" now returned from exile "Senior Prefect" of Class 2 garrison 4.I just downloaded it,to upgrade mine and test ,since there are already proof,it is working with my model.

With 2 to 3 dishes you suppose to get all the important SATs . if 9e plus 5e plus 16e plus 28 . is on 1mtr Dish . nigcomsat plus champion TV can b on the other with MBC or separate Dish for the MBC . lobatan

While nta Maiduguri is on 42e also. Though nta is not showing for now

The beam of TP, our region falls under 38db which requires 1.2 to 1.6m dish to track the channel

According to lyngsat Nigeria requires 1.8 to 2.4MTR dish to get apstar

The 1.8 metre beam covers only half of our country
Some people are locking it with 1.8 in Nigeria while others uses 2.4. It shows EPL and laliga .

You can still track 9e and 5e and 7e, including MBC east.
9,5, 16 and 28/26e can be on one Dish.
