Good afternoon people,

Happy new year and best wishes for the year.

Please I need your help and insight into my matter.

I had applied to the Canadian embassy for a visit visa on the 20th of June 2018 and got my application rejected due to the fact that the visa officer wasn’t convinced of my returning back to Nigeria.

The reject was as a result of my error. I erroneously left out my ties to my company.

However I put in another application on the 20th of August explaining my error, providing sufficient information linking my ties to my organization but since then I haven’t gotten any feedback from the embassy.

I sent them a web form on the 6th of December stating that my application had exceeded normal processing times but no response from them till date.

Please I will appreciate it if anyone can advice me on what to do.

I just need a response from them even if it’s a rejection so that I can put in another application.

Appreciate your help with this.

i got bounced on basis of travel history and Family ties
i provided enough Legit supporting documents to explain and clear the latter
so i am still in awe how the V.O came to such frivolous conclusions

Like I always tell people,there's no legal requirement for you to have a history of international travel to be issued a visa,so if the visa officer saw a problem with your lack of travel history, this probably means that the rest of the application was weak. If there's anything you can do to significantly improve some other section of the application like your ties to home country such as family,proof of finances, etc .it can help you.

Most times online bookings do not give your option of confirming and saving your itinerary without paying for the flight in full. A travel agents can help you do that through their GDS booking platform. You can send me a PM or hello@travelwahala.com to help you generate one.

Yeah, do a JFK/LGA to YYZ (or whatever airport is closest to your son in Canada) return ticket reservation and add to your already purchased LOS-JFK return....
