A suspected Boko Haram member, Mohammed Adamu (also known as Engineer), gave details yesterday of plans by members of the group to attack Abuja late last year. Adamu, 16, currently being held by the Department of State Security (DSS) was arrested with two others in Abuja last September. Information got from them led security operatives to invade an uncompleted building on September 20 in Gudu, Apo area, Abuja in which no fewer than eight squatters were shot dead. Adamu testified yesterday at the public hearing being conducted by the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) on the September 20 killings. The suspect, who spoke in Hausa, was assisted by an interpreter. He admitted holding nocturnal meetings with 12 others in the uncompleted building at Gudu, near Apo with the intention to launch attacks against government’s interests in their determination to defend Islam. Adamu, who hails from Katsina State, said he worked as a commercial tricycle (Keke NAPEP) rider. He said he met Suleiman (R Kelly ) who introduced him into the sect. “Within the period, Suleiman told me of a meeting they attended in the uncompleted building and asked me whether I was interested in joining them, but I told him to give me a day to think over it. “A day after, I told him I was interested. Later, Suleiman warned me not to tell anybody, threatening to deal with me if I did so. Because of that, I became afraid. “At the meeting, we said we are defending our religion through war, using guns and other weapons. We agreed and wanted to fight with the government; we were holding discussions on ways and manner to carry out the operation. “We usually converged by 8pm and left by 11pm. Honestly, no policeman ever accosted us” Adamu testified. “One day, Suleiman came back with a bag and I enquired what was inside, he opened it and showed me four AK 47 rifles and a pistol. “I was the youngest in the group and Suleiman is a middle-aged man. On the day of the incident, I led the security operatives to arrest Suleiman and other members around midnight. “On arrival at the uncompleted building, while the security people approached the building, some people inside the building started shooting at us and I was instructed to lie down by the SSS official. “Soldiers then returned fire. I saw Suleiman and the others digging out guns where they buried them in front of the building,” Adamu said. He also said Suleiman is also from Katsina state, but denied knowing his whereabouts at the moment. He denied being compelled to indict himself and other members of the sect. “Nobody has told me what to say, Allah is my witness. What I said, is to the best of my knowledge.” He also explained how he was arrested. “Suleiman gave me a SIM card with an instruction that I should not use the line anyhow. He told me to always put the SIM on around 8pm. “I was at a mosque when the SSS operatives came, with the help of a machine, when it was my turn, they found the SIM in my phone and that was how I was arrested and taken to the SSS office.” Another witness, Mallam Gambo Idris, one of the surviving occupants of the building confirmed knowing Adamu as a Keke NAPEP rider. He denied knowledge of any meeting. Adamu identified Gambo as one of the squatters in the building. The Nigeria Army told the commission last month that the attack on the uncompleted building was informed by information it got from the DSS of a planned attack on Abuja by Boko Haram. An official of the DSS, whose name was not mentioned (for security reasons) told the commission that Adamu was among the three Boko Haram suspects arrested on September 18, last year, at Garki 2 near a Mosque before they were brought to the DSS office for interview. Hearing continues today. http://thenationonlineng.net/new/how-we-planned-to-attack-abuja-by-16-year-old-boko-haram-suspect/ |
South Africa coach Gordon Igesund is expecting a tough contest against the Super Eagles when they host the African champions at the African Nations Championship starting on Saturday. To this end, he has obtained DVDs on the Nigerians to study ahead of their encounter. Both sides have met eight time in the past with the Super Eagles winning on six occasions and recording just one draw in their meetings. South Africa and Nigeria, along with Mali and Mozambique make up Group A and are based in Cape Town. “There are no easy games in international football and we know that Nigeria are going to have a formidable team here. We know that Mali is a physical team and a very good side and we know that Mozambique is no different. We are not expecting anything other than a tough tournament,” Igesund told supersport.com. “It’s not going to be easy against Nigeria because they have about seven players in the squad that played in the 2013Africa Cup of Nations. So we do know those players well, as they won that tournament. “But we’ll get to know more about the rest of their team as we go along. I’ve got people watching them and sending us DVDs’ so we can see the individual players.” Igesund again highlighted the fact that he wants to keep momentum going and get his team used to winning matches. “We want to create a winning mentality and make people happy. When we beat Spain we did it with an average age of just 24 and we are happy with that and want to build on that,” he said. “It’s important to get the players winning games in order to create a winning mentality and so we need to build momentum and we can do that by winning this tournament. “We are not over confident or arrogant, but we are hosting the tournament and are expecting to do well in it.” www.punchng.com/sports/chan-south-africa-studying-eagles-on-dvds/ |
Many people at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Yaba, Lagos State, were shocked on Tuesday as an 18-year-old man narrated how he strangled a 12-year-old girl for money ritual. The suspect, Ikechukwu Friday, said he had gone to beg a pastor for money when the pastor instructed him to kill a young girl and obtain her faeces. He said the pastor promised him N100, 000 if he was able to accomplish the task. He said, “I attend a popular church around Ketu Street, Aguda, but I live with my parents in Badagry. I just finished secondary school and I have been very broke. So, I approached the pastor for money, but he told me that I should strangulate a little girl. “He explained that while strangulating the girl, she would pass out faeces in the throes of death. The pastor said I should obtain the faeces and bring it to him. He said if I could do this, he would give me N100,000. “On December 30, 2013, I approached a young girl, Bose Ogoja. Her mother sells food in Badagry and I usually patronise them; so she trusted me. I told the girl that I wanted to show her something and she should follow me. I took her to an abandoned NITEL building and locked the door. “I squeezed her neck and truly, she passed out faeces. I was, however, not able to get the faeces because I was caught before I could escape.” The suspect, an indigene of Onitsha, Anambra State, pleaded for mercy adding that this was his first crime. Police Public Relations Officer, Ngozi Braide, said the suspect was arrested by neighbours in the area and handed over to the Badagry Police Division. Braide said the pastor, who allegedly gave the suspect the instruction had been arrested and was already cooperating with the police. While displaying the gruesome picture of the slain girl, Braide said, “He was arrested in an uncompleted building. The security guard manning the building told the police that he saw the Friday entering the building with a 12-year-old girl. “He said a few minutes later, he heard the girl screaming and later saw the boy leaving. The security guard raised the alarm and the neighbours were alerted and they arrested the suspect. On entering the building, they discovered that the girl was dead. “The picture of the girl’s corpse shows that the girl is naked and her faeces is on the floor.” Meanwhile, the police also arrested one 39-year-old Michael Udom for allegedly stealing a vehicle belonging to the company he worked for. According to the police, the suspect attempted to sell the vehicle for N250,000 in the Ijora Badia area of the state, but was arrested before he could do so. The suspect, however, denied the allegation, saying he took permission from his boss before taking the bus home with him. He said, “I work with a courier company. After the close of work on December 25, 2013, I told my manager that I wanted to use the vehicle to pack things from my house and he agreed. Shortly after parking the vehicle, someone called me, saying he wanted to buy the vehicle. “I told them that I could not sell the vehicle without the company’s consent. I did not know a policeman was there. He also posed as a buyer and arrested me.” www.punchng.com/metro/teenager-kills-12-year-old-girl-for-money-ritual/ |

A young man has burnt to death in Ise-Ekiti, Ekiti State, after he was set ablaze by angry youths who accused him of shooting dead his landlord’s daughter. The young man, simply identified as Austin was apprehended at a motor park and was set ablaze following the shooting incident which caused tension in the community. The youths’ anger knew no bounds as the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Ise Police station was reportedly hit on the head by the angry youths for attempting to rescue Austin just before he was set ablaze. Austin, a trader in his 30s reportedly shot the girl in front of her father’s house at Iro Oraye area of the town. It was gathered that some sympathisers had taken him to the palace of the monarch of Ise Ekiti, Oba Adetunji Ajayi possibly to prevent him from being mobbed, but the irate youths later overpowered the palace guards and took him to the town’s main motor park where he was burnt. The remains of the slain girl and that of her killer, which was burnt beyond recognition, have been deposited at a mortuary in the town by the police. After delivering the jungle justice, youths in the community were said to have fled for fear of possible arrest by the police. |
A crazy teen took revenge on a girl by burning her face with boiling water after she unfriended him on Facebook, according to police in India. The Independent reports that the boy, from Bihar state in northern India, came to the 15-year-old victim’s house on Wednesday and said he had left his I.D. in the home. He then allegedly shoved the girl’s mother aside and poured water on the victim’s face. The Times of India reported that the girl was taken to a hospital where she’s being treated for burns to 20 percent of her face including her right cheek and right side of her neck. Police are currently looking for him after he fled, following the incident. He is an undergraduate student at a Muzaffarpur college. In a translation of a statement to police obtained by the Hindustan Times, the victim said, “My father is a teacher and he (the accused) used to come for tuitions to our home. I accepted his (Facebook) friend request a year ago because I found him decent then. But of late he had become abusive and so I unfriended him last week.” Gawker reports that “with Facebook steadily becoming the exclusive means of communication among teens in India, tragic news stories involving young Indian Facebook users are similarly on the rise.” In October, a 17-year-old Indian girl reportedly committed suicide after her parents banned her from Facebook, according to the Indo-Asian News Service. www.informationng.com/2014/01/see-girl-who-was-bathed-with-hot-water-for-unfriending-guy-on-facebook.html |
No fewer than 30 people were reportedly killed and 25 others injured on Monday when gunmen struck at Shonong in Bachit District of the Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The latest round of killings came barely 12 days after the burial of the acting heads of Shonong and Attarkar, who were murdered on December 23. Our correspondent gathered from eye-witnesses that apart from those killed, over 40 houses were torched by the gunmen believed to be Fulani cattle rearers . Also affected were domestic animals belonging to the villagers. The attackers were said to have stormed the village around 7am on Monday in a commando-like manner, shooting sporadically. Those killed were caught in the pandemonium that followed staccato bursts of gunfire. Shom Toma, one of the survivors, who is receiving treatment at the Vom Christian Hospital, Jos, told journalists that the attackers numbering over 100 struck at a time most of the villagers had gone to their farms. Toma said he was moulding some blocks near his house when he heard gunshots. He said most of the victims were children and elderly people. The Executive Director of Stefanos Foundation, Mr. Mark Lipdo, said that information available to him indicated that the dead could be over 30. He added that a search team was still going round the village looking for some of the villagers who ran into bushes with gunshot wounds . Lipdo said, “Information just reaching us says Fulani herdsmen attacked Bachit, Shorong in Riyom LGA. Sources said over 30 bodies were seen in some parts of the community, including the bushes. “The villagers are presently watching helplessly as soldiers have taken no action because they said they have not been given order to take action.” But the Plateau State Police Commissioner, Mr. Chris Olakpe, said, “I was told that only four people were killed and a couple of houses burnt.” A member of the state House of Assembly, Mr. Daniel Dem, described the incident as unfortunate and regrettable. Dem, who is the Majority Leader of the Plateau State House of Assembly, lamented that the Special Task Force had not been able to stem killings in the area. He said, “If the military is there in the village and the attack lasted till noon on Monday, then the military has so many questions to answer.” When contacted, the Spokesman for the Special Task Force, Capt. Salisu Mustapha, said that soldiers at a checkpoint received an alert that two people on their way to the farm had been attacked by gunmen. He added that the soldiers raced to the scene but received more alerts that the attackers had attacked the village. “The soldiers had to call for reinforcement as the attackers came in large numbers,” Mustapha said, adding that six people were confirmed killed and five others wounded. He also said that the STF Commander, Maj. Gen. David Enetie, had gone to the area. www.punchng.com/news/gunmen-kill-30-burn-40-houses-in-plateau/ |

The Presidency has urged Nigerians to stop making use of the new media to hurl abuses at President Goodluck Jonathan and other political leaders in the new year. It said Nigerians, especially the youths, who are in the habit of expressing “bitterness” as well as hurling “insults” at the President should ve a change of attitude in 2014. The Presidency, through the Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Reno Omokri, stated on Twitter that if the bitter insults hurled by some Nigerians at Jonathan n other political leaders online in 2013 didn’t better their lot, they should consider not taking them into 2014. Omokri stated that no matter how those who attack the President online intensify their efforts, “men cannot undo what God has done.” He added that the continued expression of bitterness by some Nigerians online may go a long way in limiting their appreciation of the “possible” giant strides of the President in 2014. He stated, “Circumstances don’t change unless behaviour changes. If bitterness & insults didn’t change your situation in 2013, don’t take them to 2014! “In 2014, shouldn’t we use Twitter as a vehicle for exchanging ideas that focus our attention on how to better each other rather than insults? “The circumstances surrounding his rise to power are proof that God put President Jonathan where he is & men cannot undo what God has done. “Insults are available to everyone. They are overlooked by those who want to rise but embraced by those who want to pull the risers down. “Ideas lead to cooperation & expand our sense of what is possible. Insults lead to isolation, thus limiting our sense of what is possible.” But Nigerians have since responded to the allegations of online assault on the President & other officials in the Presidency, saying the majority of the said “insults” were aimed at making them focused on the business of governance. One Fola Ademosu urged the President to endure the “insults” in as much as he and his team have yet to deliver on the much desired dividends of democracy. According to him, Nigerians have also been enduring “insults” from the Presidency as a result of ‘misgovernance’. “It is the same insults we endure seeing political masqueraders trivialise governance & turn the country into their personal fiefdom,” Ademosu said. Another respondent on Twitter, Aminu Bawa, asked the Presidency if it was “haram” for public officials to be insulted for failing in their respective constitutional duties. He stated that if the President or any member of his team are no longer ready to stomach the “insults,” they should take the bull by the horns by turning in their resignation letters. “Are insults haram for public officials? Nobody pays them to abuse taxpayers! If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen,” Bawa said. Some Twitter users who caught up with the Presidency’s advice online provided it with a way out of the “insults.” Folarin, another respondent, tweeted, “Let all our leaders do what the masses can see & not some achievements on papers. The perceived insults are the only way to show their (Nigerians) displeasure and nothing more.” Also, Ahmed Umar, who dismissed the Presidency’s admonition as an “unsolicited advice” wrote, “Show decisiveness, capacity, competence & leadership & see if the insults don’t fizzle out.” Meanwhile, a former member of the House of Representatives, Dino Melaye, has urged Nigerians to “wake up from their slumber” with a view to tackling “our tormentors and oppressors.” In his New Year Message, the former lawmaker wrote, “2014 will be better than 2013 for you. May God heal our land and fix all our tormentors & oppressors. “May those corrupting the country & thereby destroying us as a people experience the hand of God this year. May Nigerians wake up from their slumber & gullibility and begin to agitate for change. It is well with us a people and nation.” Also, a former Minister of Education, Dr. Obiageli Ezekwesili, said only “mature response” to citizens’ demands for accountability would be the most “viable option” for the Presidency in the new year. Ezekwesili, who said she had “many great moments” making use of Twitter in the just concluded year, said Nigerians should push for more stronger engagement with the government on various social platforms. She said the Presidency should desist from name calling in 2014 & respond to citizens’ demands with facts. Ezekwesili tweeted, “For Citizens, 2014 must be the year of even stronger engagement with our democracy & much deeper scrutiny of governance. For governments at all levels, 2014 is a year that only mature response to citizens’ demand for accountability will be the most viable option! “For the National Assembly, which is the central symbol of our being a democracy, 2014 has to be a defining period in your relationship with citizens. www.punchng.com/i-punch/stop-insulting-jonathan-on-twitter-presidency/ |
7. The Politicians This is the year of presidential declarations. President Jonathan will run for a second term. And of course he is more than entitled to do that, regardless of all the rumours flying around about how he once promised some people he’d only seek one term. In-built into this democracy should be the realisation that everyone should be able to aspire to the presidency of Nigeria, regardless of where s/he comes from and of what those who consider themselves ‘power brokers’ feel. Also this year INEC will be busy with the Ekiti and Osun state governorship elections, and we will all be looking to see if any lessons have been learnt from the dangerous and disgraceful proceedings in Anambra last November. The electoral timetable will also be eagerly awaited; by the terms of the Electoral Act 2010, elections will hold between December 2014 and April 2015. The Presidency is still the PDP’s to lose, of course; it will be going into the elections with a 10-million-vote lead from 2011 – it’s that commanding lead that a resurgent opposition will be looking to undermine. 8. Lugard’s Legacy There’s an ambitious plan for marking Nigeria’s centenary, which the government insists will be private sector led and funded. What I’m not very comfortable with is referring to or regarding it as a “Celebration.” If we are not given to celebrating the Berlin Conference of 1884/5, then why would we be celebrating the Proclamation of 1914, which we now know was not such a noble decision (and which someone once famously referred to as “the mistake of 1914.”) Instead of ‘celebration’, I think ‘commemoration’ is a much more suitable approach, evoking the solemnity that ought to colour our attitude to 1914. There isn’t very much to be ‘celebrating’ especially considering that a hundred years on we still haven’t worked out a practicable way of sensibly relating with one another as a tenuous assortment of disparate peoples. 9. A post-Sanusi Central Bank Lamido Sanusi’s tenure as Nigeria’s Central Banker comes to an end in Q2. He is the sort of Central Banker who can boldly pen scathing criticism of the neo-imperialist ways of China while simultaneously leading efforts to convert some of Nigeria’s foreign reserves into Yuan. That powerful blend of bluntness and realism makes him arguably the most colourful central banker in Nigerian history. The way he took on the bigwigs of a badly-run banking industry was impressive, and inspiring, and will continue to be a standard, I think, for public servants faced with daunting rescue missions. He was decisive, and ambitious – two qualities in short supply in Nigeria’s public sector (it’s necessary to acknowledge that he had the support of President Yar’Adua –a game-changer like no other in a country where powerful vested interests mount checkpoints at every corner of the economy). Of course, he isn’t without his faults. There were the questionable decisions (those large charitable donations of CBN funds); there was the fact that all of his battles were necessary, or even helpful; and he probably did more talking than was necessary, considering the sensitivity of his position. But no doubt his tenure was – cliché alert – a breath of fresh air. It was nice to know we had one senior government official who could be counted upon for his candour (and eloquence to boot), regardless of who was going to bear the brunt. Sometime in the second quarter, Sanusi’s successor will be announced. This being Nigeria, talk of a ‘power-shift’ might come up, considering that the last three Central Bankers have been Fulani, Igbo and Yoruba respectively. Gender might also be a factor: will Nigeria follow closely in the steps of the USA (Janet Yellen) and Israel (Karnit Flug) and get its first female Central Banker in 2014? 10. Kongi’s 9th decade In July, Nobel Laureate Wole Soyinka will turn eighty. Expect a bounteous parade of birthday events within and outside Nigeria, in celebration of Nigeria’s first, and only, Nobel Laureate, and the first ever African to win a Nobel in Literature. The passing of Chinua Achebe last year was a startling reminder of the mortality of our heroes and icons. Nigerians will therefore be celebrating Soyinka fully conscious of the fact that we will not have him with us forever. |
1. The Year of ‘Oil-ptimism’? The oil industry will be in the news a great deal, as hopes rise that there will be one last chance to pass the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB). In 2014 construction is expected to start on the Dangote Refinery Project. If successful, it will be the biggest ever intervention in Nigeria’s downstream oil industry. There will also some excitement from the marginal fields bid round that opened late 2013; the last time Nigeria auctioned marginal oil fields was 2001. The new bidding process is scheduled to take place in Q1/Q2; we will probably see the emergence of a new set of local players in the upstream oil business; and the consolidation of existing ones, with fresh acquisitions. All who are ambitious, and can raise cash, take note. 2. For the umpteenth time, let there be light! We started the year without the Power Holding Company of Nigeria (PHCN) – it vanished into the history books with the handover, late last year, of its constituent companies to new owners. But as many Nigerians will attest to, the shadow of ‘Please Hold Candle Now’ still looms large. (I for example have virtually given up on public electricity, living almost exclusively on a generator that I imagine will soon work itself into a coma). But in theory – and I’ve written about this before – the power sector reforms have come quite far; privatisation is on course, the commercial framework of gas and electricity supply is being worked out, and construction work on the NIPP power plants is, according to government accounts, almost completed. However, the only thing the ordinary Nigerian is concerned about, and legitimately so, is this: when will I see the light? After decades of broken promises, 2014 might actually be the year in which we start to see a difference. Power generation is set to more than double as the ten brand new NIPP plants come on stream and are privatised. We will be holding our breath to see if the grid can accommodate the expected surge. 3. Click here for a million dollars. Internet technologies will continue to redefine the way business is done in Nigeria. Five years ago the names Linda Ikeji and Jason Njoku were virtually unknown. Today they are two of the most prominent faces of internet-enabled entrepreneurship in Nigeria. Linda for her entertainment blog – the most widely read in Nigeria today (and potentially a platform for the beginnings of an internet-age media empire); Jason for his work building the largest online platform for Nollywood movies in the world, and, on the back of that, for his foray into e-commerce (working with partners to fund and build a string of online businesses that will potentially transform the way we approach everything from tourism to shopping to insurance. In 2014 fortunes will be made – and lost – on the Internet – and no, we aren’t talking about ‘Yahoo-Yahoo’ here. 4. 2014 Sale: Everything Must Go! Last year the privatisation of the GenCos and DisCos raised more than $3bn for the Federal Government. This year the money will continue to flow; there are the ten NIPP power plants slated to be sold. It is also believed that the four government-owned refineries – bound by disrepair and disuse – will be sold this year. Nigeria’s banking industry is going to be very busy, no doubt (Much of the GenCo/DisCo privatization funds came from local bank debt). I’ve heard insiders express fears about the possibilities of another round of banking crises based on exposure to power sector debt; but at the moment there’s no evidence that the ongoing scrambling for power deals by the banks will not end up being a fruitful venture. 5. Abuja welcomes the World Nigeria will be hosting this year’s World Economic Forum for Africa, in May. There will be those asking what the country seeks to benefit from spending all that money. There will also be the argument that it makes sense, as Africa’s second largest economy – and soon to be largest, if plans to rebase the economy go ahead as planned – deserves to host one of the biggest Africa-focused economic events in the world. It will be an opportunity for President Jonathan and his government to showcase what they consider their greatest achievements to a captive audience of the world’s government and business elite. 6. Good luck on the playing fields of Brazil. The year of the World Cup. Nigeria will again be going to the World Cup with a lot of optimism, on the strength of last year’s Nation’s Cup Win. We will be hoping to at least reach the quarterfinals for the first time. An outstanding performance at the World Cup will boost Gross Domestic Happiness, and, knowing how the Nigerian mind works, potentially improve President Jonathan’s 2015 electoral chances. A dismal performance, like the one four years ago will very likely help crystallize national anger against him, and undermine his campaign. And plenty more: |

Straighten it up to FP moderator. Yes, this is another list. (I don’t care, who asked you?) It is just for the men though as I know nothing about women. So women, please, just be on your way because this isn’t for you unless you’d like to leave a copy for your husband. I’m going to share secrets with you that will change your life. But, when I say “secrets”, you’ll say, “that crap isn’t secret at all. My wife tells me that all the time.” Which brings us to number one: 1. Listen: That’s right; when she speaks, she usually has something to tell you. You might learn something about the single most important person in your life. Crazy, I know. Ask yourself right now: what’s her favorite color, her shoe size, what does she like least about her body, what household chore does she despise, paper or plastic? You should know this stuff. She tells you all the time. You just aren’t listening. When she starts talking about tennis bracelets in November, she’s trying to help you with your Christmas shopping, Einstein. If you actually start listening to her, she will be so dumbfounded that she’ll say “yes” to s*x just to see if you’re still listening. 2. Don’t ask don’t tell: Everybody likes to be surprised and pampered. What if just once in a while, you, without your wife’s consent or assistance, arranged for a babysitter, picked her up at work and took her out to dinner? Now she’s stunned. Her defenses are down. It’s likely you’re getting laid. 3. If you use it, put it up. If you drop it, pick it up. If you spill it, clean it up: She’s not your Momma. And, hopefully, your Momma taught you better. Clean up after yourself for God’s sake. Trust me; there is little your wife finds less sexy than picking your dirty tidy whiteys up off the bathroom floor. I can say with great confidence that this is almost universally true for all women. Your wife is now confused. She’ll wander all about the house wondering what you’ve done with all the messes. When she looks in the bedroom; now you’ve got her. 4. Bite your tongue (or, “No, those pants do not make you look fat”): Nobody likes constant criticism, especially if it’s from the person they’d most like to please (that’s probably you). If you continually browbeat your wife, she feels less sexy and thinks you’re less sexy as well. You wanna look more like George Clooney? Quit your bitching!! Oh, and the answer to the do these pants make me look fat question: “of course not darlin’. But, still, they’re not my favorite. You really look hot in that red pair.” 5. WWAAD…what would Alan Alda do?: Think of all the heroes in all the movies you’ve ever seen. Yeah, the movies where the guy wins the girl. Do you think the hero’s gonna sit on his a*s watching the WWF while the girl of his dreams has to cook his dinner while sweeping the floor with a screaming baby balanced on her hip? No, he’s not. He’s gonna get up and gently take the broom and mini-you from his girl and tell her, “Honey, it’s probably been a long day for you, go put your feet up and let me finish dinner. Oh, and by the way, here’s the remote.” That’s what Alan Alda would do. You wife is now so grateful for this selfless and heroic act, that like the proverbial damsel in distress, now rescued, she has no choice but to submit to your s*xual advances. Would it really kill ya’ to do a load of laundry once in a while? 6. Treat her like a thoroughbred; she’ll never be a nag: This is the same hottie that had you twisted in knots lo those many years ago. She still needs your affirmation. She still needs to feel attractive. She still needs to feel adored. Her hair, her eyes, her smile, her legs, her touch, her mind, her spirit, her perfume, the list of things you can compliment her on is limitless. She does not want to have s*x with anyone that doesn’t desire her. She has some pride, after all. If you don’t make her feel desired, there are plenty of other guys out there who will…me for example. If you tell her everyday how sexy she is she’ll begin to feel sexy, and you know what sexy girls like to do. 7. The most secret weapon of all: No woman can resist this, so use it wisely. I do not give this piece of advice lightly for it is powerful stuff. Every Monday or Tuesday (it’s good to change up the day once in a while just so she doesn’t get complacent) I take a small amount of time out of my lunch hour and drive over to the nearest grocery store. They have a floral boutique there. I buy a single long stem rose. I take the rose to my wife’s place of employment and present it to her. Oh, and don’t forget the little card that goes with the rose. The card may be even more important than the flower. www.informationng.com/2014/01/7-ways-to-trick-your-wife-into-having-sex-every-day.html http://open.salon.com/blog/john_walker/2010/02/02/7_ways_to_trick_your_wife_into_having_sex_every_day |

Was she arranged for you to marry or it was money you used to entice her into the marriage?
