At times the problem is not teaching it is taking action.

Might be surprising but a lot of people make their main money via domaining reselling.

Also, there is another part where you can just buy a domain and park it and make little money via ads placed on the site but managed by the hosting service.

What you need to do is contact them individually. You can check their whois page. Alternatively, use hunter website and harvest the contact info.

There are a lot of ways to do this. Here are the fundamental ways.

#1. Sell to online Exchanger.

#2. Do it yourself.

If you want to do it yourself then that means you have 3 options as well but I will talk about 2.

Option #1. Use your mobile phone and make the exchange using a verified application platform.

Option #2. Receive the money over the counter and exchange using bank rates.

6) Emailed potential buyers. Some responded back interested and asking for the price.

7) After sending emails to potential buyers for 4-5 days I started receiving replies. Two companies were interested to purchase the name. After some back and forth replies and negotiations one of them agreed to purchase the domain for $250.

11 days from the registration date I ended up selling the name for $250.

I wanted to share how I made 20x ROI in 11 days just by selling a domain name with email marketing.

Hopefully it can be motivational for others out there who are trying to flip or sell domains too.

1) Found a domain that was recently dropped.

2) Checked and researched Google to check potential buyers. It was over more than 20 companies.

3) Purchased the domain name for $10.88 from a domain registrar.

4) Gathered emails of potential buyers by entering their website or a Google search.

5) Prepared a short and directly on point email template. No more than 3-5 sentences.

Let's talk about how affiliate program works

A company's Affiliate Program allows you to make money by referring customers to the products and services offered.

That is to say, each time you refer a customer to the company's website and that customer makes a purchase, you earn a commission (a percentage of each sale).

The percentage here varies depending on the product and niche.

For instance, if Twitter had a premium version costing N10,000 and an affiliate program which states that, each person you refer to create an account you will be liable to 40% commission

What that means is that you will get N4,000 per new account created via your affiliate link.

How will you know and track your sales?

The affiliate company will provide you with detailed reports on sales that were referred from your link and every month, they send you a check for the commission you earned.

Also, with your link is what is called "cookies", it has a duration which it records the sales via your link.

For instance, some affiliate link cookies last for 2 weeks, 4 week, or even 6 months - but you don't need to worry about this.

Step 2. Get an affiliate link.

When you sign up you’ll be assigned a link that is unique to you. This is the link that will track and record all your sales.


Step 3. Get paid when you reach the Payments Threshold
