Politics / Worst Naija President? by itelambassador1: 2:17pm On Jun 30, 2016
The worst ever Nigerian government before now is the General Buhari military regime. If that regime did not happen to Nigeria, Lagos would have had the first sub saharan Metroline by 1986 latest. No state in Nigeria would be dependent on oil money now because they werent then, like today. Only the FG was totally dependent on oil back then. The country would have been better off by far. Nigeria and Russia are at par in corruption, yet Russia is represented in all fields of human endeavour even if they, because of oil money are not as industrialized as Germany, Britain or Japan. Now, the worst ever Nigerian government is this present one headed by President Buhari. #itelmobile

Sports / Euro Special Flops by itelambassador1: 10:53pm On Jun 23, 2016
# Euro2016 Flops and Travellers : In France, we have been able to separate the boys from the men as 16 have been chosen from the initial 24 who came into town only just few weeks ago. However, after 3games the world got to find out that 8 of those only came for tourist attraction and as you're currently reading this, they should be on their way to their respective destinations. We have decided to single out some so called big name players who will be travelling home with the rest of their teammates and tag them flops-n-travellers in this discussion. Numero Uno has to be no other than Zlatan Ibrahimovic (SWEDEN). The 34year old quit international football on a low and his performance at #Euro2016 was nothing spectacular. The Swedish team as a whole only managed a point against the lowest ranked team in the group (Ireland) and lost to Belgium and Italy by a lone goal in both matches. Zlatan did nothing in my candid opinion, no goals as a striker, in fact we should just close the chapter. Next on our list has to be no other than Petr Cech. Well, as a goal keeper we can only blame him less as there was little or nothing he could do except failing to concede as much as 5goals. The team wasn't disgraced though, lost 1-0 to Spain then a 2-2 thrilling encounter against impressive Croatia before a shocking 2-0 defeat to dead boys Turkey. The Arsenal shot stopper led his nation to the quater-finals in the last edition with his fine exhibitions but this time, well... Some days are bad. Number 3 should be David Alaba of Bayern Munich. Some may say he has no world class player to support himself in the team then I wonder if the remaining 10 players who play along side him are made of clay or wood. There is an ever present Porgatez in that team as well as Dragovic with Nigerian born big striker Ruben Okote. His team lost two and drew one just like Ibrahimovic's Sweden and Cech's Czech. In a group that had evenly matched teams as Hungary, Iceland and Austria, many wouldn't expect them to bow out in such a disappointing fashion. The stats don't lie, check them out, Alaba was probably in “Alaba” all through the tournament cause the same player we know wasn't the one we saw in France and we shouldn't pardon Stoke City's big man Marko Arnautovic as well who many say was invisible the past few days. One player I respect and wonder why the football world hasn't noticed his exploits at Bayer Leverkusen is the man in my number 4 position for flops-n-travellers. The Turkish midfield magician was poor and slow as his contributions were minimal. “Hakan Calhanoglu” who we know to shoot from range and score outstanding free-kicks did nothing. Shall we make a case for him like some did for David Alaba by saying he didn't have world class support? I doubt, there was Barcelona's Arda Turan in that same midfield likewise one time Real Madrid player Nuri Sahin. Turkey bowed out of the competition with their heads high after defeating Czech 2-0 but in previous games they made opponents Spain look super and allowed Croatia get passed them with ease, the boys should be in istanbul by now I guess. Both Calhanoglu and Turan have been highly criticised in their home country, the former was even substituted after the first 45minutes in the last game while the latter has probably spent most of his spare time at “Mc Donalds” owing to his increase in body size and physical stature. Lastly is Sevilla's Konoplyanka of Ukriane. The winger did well according to some jaw dropping opinions I came across coming from experts of the beautiful game. Most football fans don't regard this man as a star, yes I agree but that's only when you're talking world football, he is actually a star in his home land. Ukraine lost 2-0 twice before losing 1-0 to 2012 co-hosts Poland in the final group game. For me, the most disappointing nation at this competition going home without a point nor a goal. The La Liga attacker didn't come to the party probably still swimming in the euphoria of his team's Europa League triumph, his runs were pointless and all attacking ideas were cut short most expecially in the first two games. Attacking partners like Zozulya and Yarmolenko didn't help matters also, the trio played like they were being forced and the hand writing as they say is on the wall, outcome, a place in the travellers plane. From me, its Bon Voyage to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Petr Cech, David Alaba, Hakan Calhanoglu and Konoplyanka. Better days are coming, probably in 2018 (Russia) or # Euro2020 #itelmobile
Romance / Husband Don Scarce by itelambassador1: 6:49pm On Jun 16, 2016
HUSBAND SCARCITY!!! by Maryam Habu shinga
HUSBAND SCARCITY!!!
This may not be the best time for me to write on this because of misinterpretati
ons, but I can no longer resist the push. "Husband Scarcity" has become one of the challenges faced by many young girls today. If you go to prayer houses, majority of the intentions are prayer for a life partner. And this calls for concern. Casting our minds back to the time of our mothers and grandmothers, was there really much of a "Husband Scarcity" problem? Or, maybe there were more men than women then, or there was an adequate corresponding numbers of both genders. I don't think so. Maybe then, the women had values and were prepared to build a home and not park into a built home. Then, once a young man comes of age and can at least feed himself and his wife, he goes out in search of a wife and the woman really appreciates him and helps him to build a future. What am I really trying to say? We created what we now see as "Husband Scarcity" for ourselves. Today, the reverse is the case. Ask an average girl to define her dream husband; you get things like "he has to be tall, handsome, fair, and rich, own a house at least, and be presentable" and then she adds "God fearing" in order not to sound so worldly. Then, check the number of girls around you and the number of men that meet that standard, and you will see the problem. You hear girls say, "I cannot suffer in my father's house and then go and start suffering with a man." What a wonderful dream! What if from the beginning, you have everything you want and there is no suffering, and later in the marriage, the table turns around, then comes suffering? Will you run away? No one prays for suffering, but it is good to start small and end big, than start big and end small. The problem is that the description majority of girls give of their ideal man is virtually the same. When 50 girls want the same kind of man and the man that fits what they want is just 1 man, and the man can only pick one. Then, what becomes of 49 others? They simply start lamenting of "Husband Scarcity". Another irony of our time is that it is hard, due to the face of our economy to find a man who is of marriage age who possesses all those things these ladies want, legally (except those involved in Internet fraud); even the number of those in Internet fraud is not enough to match all those searching for already made husbands. If you look around, majority of the ladies of substance, of good value and virtue, who are ready to build a home with a man who has prospects, are married and not complaining of husband scarcity. The easiest way to find a husband now, is to change your view of who a husband is. A husband is that man God made and then saw that it may be hard for him to really actualize his purpose for making him, without a help mate and then made the woman and gave to him, and he felt complete and fulfilled MARRIAGE IS NOT A POVERTY ALLEVIATION PROGRAM. It is a mission of building the family of God here on earth. For those who see marriage as a way out of poverty, it is a way into bondage. Women are HOME BUILDERS, not HOME WARMERS... DON'T CONFUSE A MAN'S PATH WITH HIS DESTINY. Where he is today, may only be a route to where God has destined him to be tomorrow. Another truth is that YOU MAY BE THE ONLY FAST MEANS TO THAT HIS DESTINATION. Join in alleviating "husband scarcity". PICK UP THE RIGHT VALUES. I am not saying that you should pick anyone that comes your way and talks of marriage, not all men are husband materials. What I am saying is that you should stop setting your standard on material acquisitions or physical appearances. Look beyond the physical. WHAT MAKES A MAN WHO HE IS, IS NOT WHAT HE OWNS OR HOW HE LOOKS, IT IS WHAT HE IS MADE UP OF. And that which he is made of is, most times, not seen with the physical eyes, only its effects can be seen. Marriage is a permanent thing. Whatever is seen is temporal and that which is not seen is permanent. like wise good phone phone like Itel. with itel your life is meaningful #itelmobile

8 Disgusting Habits Displayed By Nigerians When They Return From Abroad

Some Nigerians, when they return from abroad often display some nasty and childish habits when they return home, and these silly and childish attitudes are enlisted below;
1. Unnecessary use of foreign accent to intimidate local people
When some Nigerians living abroad return home, they begin to use these foreign accents to create unwanted scenes. They do this to show people that they are not of the same class.
A times when you tell them, you can’t understand their statement, they will say “Are u deaf”? The ones that annoy me most are those based in cotonou, Ghana, Uganda, china forming British accent. Honestly these ones need serious psychiatric evaluation.
2. High level of Pride
Living abroad is not a guarantee that one will be richer than Dangote or Mike Adenuga so why the over-bloated ego? Some will even make it look like they’re doing you a favour talking to you. This is common with the ladies.
3. Unnecessary show off
I know of some Nigerians who have lived their whole life abroad and are still able to be casual. But for some, they will wear socks and jacket under the intense sun and will be screaming to people’s hearing that they regret coming to Nigeria.
4. They condemn our local dish
When a friend of mine returned from Canada, he told me to take him to a restaurant because he went hungry and I was elated he still has passion for our local dish.
I took him to one fascinating local restaurant at Ibadan.
When they served us pounded yam/egusi soup complimented with all sorts of assorted bush meats. Instead of eating the meal, he walked out from the restaurant telling me he couldn’t eat that shiiit .
Honestly, I was embarrassed by his comment.
5. They demand for undue Respect
Some of them are so proud that they will give you this proud look because they feel you want to beg pounds or dollars from them.
I really don’t blame them, after all it is what they experience often when they visit home as friends, family and even enemies want to benefit from their pocket.
6. Hotel becomes their home
I know most of them prefer lodging in a hotel because they are scared of mosquito bite, non availability of light and other negative factors in their parents’ house.
Though I wouldn’t call this a silly act but I feel staying in your parents’ house especially when located in the village will attract more parental blessing.
7. They neglect their old friends
This is common to some abroad based Nigerians. They tend to ignore the friends they left in Nigeria because they feel they have climbed the ladder of greatness.
Last year, a very good friend of mine arrived from the UK and what surprised me most was that he refused to come to my house after a week of arrival.
I used my church mind to go to his place and he started acting like I came to beg for money. This silly attitude of common with some of them.this
8. They condemn our culture and values
It’s a pity that some Nigerians are so engrossed with the westerner culture that they view African culture as being fetish and archaic when they returned home.
For them to prostrate for elder #itelmobile
#itel their parents is like displaying stupidity act. This is nothing but outright nonsense.
Religion / New Month Blessing by itelambassador1: 5:29pm On Jun 02, 2016
NEW MONTH DECLARATION:

To God be all the glory who saw us through the last month, our month of double restoration. I have no doubt that those that put the word of God to work during the month must have experienced their portions. There are those that have sent in their testimonies of God confirming the word in their lives. If you have not sent yours pls do because testimonies are weapons of perfection in the hands of the believers. Your restoration is settled no matter how you feel now in Jesus Name.
But what is God saying to us this month of June? Angel Gabriel came to Mary in the sixth month and said: "... behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS...Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man? And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God" (Lk 1:26, 31-35).
This implies that for us to accomplish the impossible and the unimaginable in our journey on earth it takes POWER. It takes POWER for us to rule and reign in this wicked world. Our dominion on earth answers to POWER. In fact, Christianity without power is a frustrated religion. No matter how religious you are, Pharaoh won't let you go without the demonstration of God's power. Your education, grammar or money is not a threat to him but POWER is.
Therefore, the month of June 2016 in the Morning Tea Family shall be our month of POWER. As we journey together through the pages of the Bible this month, I see the power of God overshadow you to live an overcomer's life in Jesus Name!
Happy New Month!!! #ItelMobile

Religion / Where Next? Shall We Go To by itelambassador1: 9:03pm On Jun 01, 2016
WHERE SHALL WE GO?
When we can no longer differentiate a church from a social gathering, and all what we do in church is to just have fun.
When we can’t differentiate a choir from a harlot, and an usher is not different from a waiter.
When the church is no more conducive where shall
we go?
When worship session in a church is just like a disco night and we cant differentiate a pastor from a comedian.
When salvation message is no longer the order of the day but prosperity and entertainment message is now the core course.
When the church is no more conducive where shall we go?
When prayer warrior now have to go to tongue speaking school for utterances, and deliverance and healing session is now like MTH 201 to be taught and learned.
When pastor have to pause for members to clap and shout during sermon in enthusiasm, and all what we now gain from preaching is now new vocabulary and word usage.
When the church is no more conducive where shall we go?
When the church of God is now an exhibition ground for the latest designer jackets and hats. And those new convert can no longer come to church for the fear of being inferior.
When the tithe and offering in church become the yard-stick for growth, and the little donations from the faithful member have to suffer for senior pastor’s birthday.
When the church is no more conducive where shall we go?
When fund raising is now disguised and referred to as revival.
When the number of souls being lost from the church is higher than gained souls Where shall we go is the question right; But never a rhetoric one.
Where we can go is simply the feet of the old rugged cross to plead for genuine spiritual revival of the church of our Father.
Stay blessed and
Happy New Month #itelmobile
