Eyop: I guess you are retard3d? I won't exchange further correspondence with you on this matter because it's pointless. Have you ever asked yourself or seek knowledge from those that really knows how Akwa-Ibom state became very popular after Attah's regime? Which administration worked for the resource control that the state is enjoying now?smh for retards like you undecided
after calling urself all the names u wished,u are yet to mention one project ur "attah " started and completed even in his own village apart from looting the state dry and claiming he fought for the state.
i still challenge u to mention one completed project under 8yrs of attah.
PoliticsRe: Akwa Ibom Community Protests 10 Years Of Darkness by Itoroetti(m): 7:59pm On Aug 19, 2014
maestroferddi: Then your cognitive ability must be grievously parochial.

Maybe you do not know that Uyo capital development area extends as far north as Ikono on Uyo-Ikot Ekpene-Aba Road.

Granted I studied at Uyo, but must I teach you about your state?

I see you couldn't think out of the box to realise that Itam Junction at the end of Ikot Ekpene Road is an intrinsic part of Uyo.

Is it because adjoining LGAs do not bear Uyo affixes like is the case with such state capitals as Owerri(eg North; West;Municipal), Ibadan, Jos, Calabar etc.

So because the NYSC camp in Umudi had its public power lines disconnected, you concluded that the entire community is not on the grid?

Just like I said before, you have bungled it.

Nkwerre is near my place and we have been on the grid for more than 20 years.
dont say what u dont know.i doubt u studied in uyo cos if u did,u would have been wiser.
u never read and recognised why i reacted to the uyo issue but ure here uttering rubbishh.soon u will wish to compare akwa ibom to imo
PoliticsRe: Akwa Ibom Community Protests 10 Years Of Darkness by Itoroetti(m): 7:55pm On Aug 19, 2014
maestroferddi: Don't conflate issues.

You said 30% of communities are not on the grid. That is a blatant lie/exaggeration.

Akabo in Ikeduru and Umudi are on the grid. What you witnessed must be technical glitches with the local power office.

You shouldn't expect the same speed of response in tackling challenges in urban and rural areas.
i hear u.u said i should mention and i did ,now u are singing an old song in a strange land.
NOTE:i didnt say akabo is not connected to the grid, but doesnt av light for upto 3yrs now and ure refering to it as technical issue.no deh talk wetin u no no

maestroferddi: Taa gbafuo!

Which Imo State are you talking about?

Where there is over 20 hours of constant power supply?

Abeg no try talk what you know nothing about.

90% of communities in Imo State are connected to the national grid.

Let me know where you have been in Imo State to arrive at such atrocious statistic...
go to umudi and find out.shey u want talk?

u are not really ok.he worked for what?
mention attah's achievement in 8 yrs.mention one completed project in attah's regime.just mention one apart from the money he stole to canada and he was intercepted thus making him lied dat he wanted to use d money for d purchase of rice

maestroferddi: I did pass through Oruk Anam and Mkpat Enim on a trip from Port Harcourt to Uyo a few years ago.

I was impressed with what I saw. Akpabio has clearly earned his plaudits and accolades.

I understand the pockets of opposition against him.

They must be from certain Ibibio elements miffed with the fact that an Annang man, a perceived minority, has turned the tables against the establishment known for being laid-back and static in public office.
@the bolded, that is my problem with the ibibios.i am from eket and i know such news is sponsored by the ibibios.its annoying
attah was a governor for 8 good yrs,now ask them;how many communities did attah got connected to the grid?
yet the feel he was their messiah after looting all the money from akwa ibom to canada.akpabio has done so well.i really thank him for not allowing ibibios to influenced him in pushing d governorship slot to eket

ntyce: States with allocation received for the year 2013:

Akwa Ibom N260 billion with 5 million people
Rivers N230 billion with 7.5 million people
Delta N209 billion with 6 million people
Bayelsa N173 billion with 2.2 million people
Lagos N168 billion with 15 million people
Kano N140 billion with 12 million people

Akwa ibom and Rivers State combined receive more than Liberia, Benin and Gambia put together. Yet these elected thieves insult our senses by celebrating mediocre achievement like bridges, stadium, monorail.
These Governors should be tied to stakes and flogged to death.
u are not ok,so i think.dont just copy rubbish and paste.seek for knowledge

aresa: Forget about your ten years without electricity, troop down to Uyo and enjoy Goodluck Boulevard...

It amazes me why the richest state in Nigeria still can not function beyond roads in one single locality which is Uyo and all the things the thoughtless crooked governor is spending money on apart from the roads in Uyo have little or no direct benefits to the taxpayers.

Imagine the richest state in Nigeria struggling to complete a single hospital in almost 8 years later, but the same brainless and unconscionable man is dying to complete his Ego projects like the stadium instead of the hospital.

What government spends taxpayers money on hotels, movie cinema, entertainment centers and not on things that really matters to the populace?
coconuut head,will u shut up?
what do u know about akwa ibom?
what do u know about uyo?u feel when when d say uyo,all the things mentioned are there, thats how myopic ur thoughts are.
but let me clear this doubt;
most of those stuffs they attribute to uyo isnt not in uyo.
fly over in itam isnt in uyo ,fivestar hotel isnt in uyo.the biggest round about in west africa isnt in uyo.the most beautiful plaza isnt in uyo alongside many others, but once d want to talk about them, they associate it to uyo to make it looks uniform innatute.
stop exhibiting ur ignorance right inside ur village in ogbomosho.

Are there no communities in ALL regions of our country that do not even have electricity pole or connection talk less of 10 years without electricity shocked
Let us commend this community for finding their voice and making it heard while we join them in asking the state government to do the right thing and ensure they also get electricity, which I hope the community members will PAY for as & when billed wink
nysc camp in umudi in imo state is not connected to the national grid ooo.some communities connected have their transformers stolen or vandalise, yet no one is talking about those ones.just because the gov og akwa ibom built a stadium and raised some infrastructural bar, that is why u see all these sponsored article by the opposition
