EBOLA UPDATE Ebola: NYSC camps well equipped, says DG AUGUST 14, 2014 BY EMMANUEL OBE Leave a Comment The management of the National Youth Service Corps has initiated moves to get state governments to integrate NYSC camps into the campaign against the Ebola Virus Disease. The Director General of the NYSC, Brig. Gen. Johnson Olawumi, disclosed this on Thursday at the Issele-Uku Orientation Camp, Delta State while taking questions from reporters.Olawumi said the NYSC scheme was in touch with all State Commissioners of Health to incorporate NYSC Camps into their contingency plans in case of any suspected outbreak of Ebola or other communicable diseases. The Director-General said all NYSC camp clinics have been equipped with necessary items for the medical personnel to properly handle any suspected patient, should the case arise.Olawumi described as pragmatic, the NYSC approach to issues concerning the welfare of corps members nationwide. He said the allowances of corps members and other issues relating to their well-being enjoys priority attention by the scheme’s management. www.punchng.com/news/ebola-nysc-camps-well-equipped-says-dg/ |

The truth is always bitter irrespective of how well u sugarcoat it. If ASUU wants to remain on strike they should consider the lives of innocent Nigerian students whose plans have been put on hold indefinitely, the unnecessary costs which this strike has brought on the students (expired rents, damaged property etc) and decide who they are really fighting for. it is the students that would be on the receiving end of the wickedness of the same striking lecturers and yet these lecturers are not ready to even meet the government halfway. The big question is WHO FIGHTS FOR THE STUDENTS? Compromise is inevitable in conflict resolution |
hello, i'm about to invest in the stock market and i have spent the better part of the past 3 months reading about the workings of the market and i feel i'm ready to invest, the only thing holding me up is a stock broker. i read about AMYN investments in a book and i'd like to know more about the firm from THOSE WHO HAVE ACCOUNT(S) WITH THEM. please share ur experience(s) with them.. thanks |
in all honesty, i feel Wizkid should have done better on this song. His lyrics were childish, a thing which an international act of his calibre should not be caught saying. He recorded a song with Wale and this was the best he could come up with? I'm disappointed, to say the least ![]() |
does this mean that the FG would have some cash for ASUU? or am i hoping for too much ![]() |
