patani:
I don’t have time to respond to your senseless post. However, if you claim to know. What is the contribution of oil to your GDP?? Answer that first then we can have sensible conversation.
You say Nigerian economy is not only about oil( I laugh in Swahili about your ignorance). Have you looked at statistics of export import bill for Nigeria as a nation? You will feel sorry for your country if you have the figures with oil export removed.
You also claim there is stamp duty.. how sad when you guys type gibberish on the internet without brain. Aw come you are not aware there is a court order stopping banks from remitting stamp duty to FG?. That I am sure cos I have the CBN circular preventing banks from remitting it to FG until the court case had been finalized.
for your information, if oil dries up today Nigeria is doomed. Aw many Nigerian pay taxes? There is VAT in our constitution, how many company truly remit VAT. How do you want a country to function when enemy of state like you don’t belive things have to be stuctured properly before we make progress. Keep deceiving yourself about Atiku coming to fix your problem.. I am out of your shit hole, you guys can mess it up the way you like...

You have a big problem grandpa patani. Oil oil oil come and drink na....Ethiopia as a country, are they not surviving without oil? And even doing better than your sorry ass country. The Niger and Benue bridge wasn't funded by oil proceed but cocoa export. What is it with you and oil?
You are hanging around Niger board and bragging about out of the country, I feel sorry for you. Beware of land mines. Foool

SOFTENGR:
I only discuss with learned people. Not your type.

Honestly, that patani or whatever he calls himself, is as dumb as hell.

patani:
How much was crude oil price before him 114USD and when Buhari came 29USD... you people should learn basic economics before you make comments on internet smh ‍♀️

You are the one that needs to learn basic economics and stop making senseless contribution on public forum; you are only exposing your ignorance.

Nigeria economic growth is not centered or dependent on crude oil alone, there's oil and none oil revenue. None oil includes: Indirect taxes, Excise duties, Customer duties, Sales tax etc.
By estimate, oil contribute just 22% to national growth and when you factor out cost of production and other expenses what is remitted is far lesser than 10%. This has been the case since 1970, in fact it became worse as at 2012 to 1st Qtr of 2015.

https://theglobaleconomy.com/Nigeria/Oil_revenue/

You should ask your Buhari that keep feeding you with lies oil this oil that what they are doing with all the billions they are raking in with the introduction of N50 stamp duty charges on every bank transactions (CBN new policy 2016) https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2016/01/n50-stamp-duty-on-transactions-salary-accounts-exempted-says-cbn/amp/

Information has it that your government are making close to N540m every single hour on stamp duties alone. Other high taxes introduced by this government that suddenly made life unbearable is a story for another day.

Bet wisely and best of luck.

The Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Mr Babatunde Fashola, has said electricity supply in the country is improving slowly and that power problems cannot be solved by magic.

Total power generation stood at 3,729 megawatts as of 6am on Wednesday, according to latest data obtained by our correspondent from the ministry.

Transmission Substation, Lagos, commended the Transmission Company of Nigeria for the ongoing projects across the country.

“We have come to hand over this expanded transmission substation, the Ejigbo Transmission Substation, to the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company. This substation was built in 1970; the capacity was 60MVA then; except for the addition of another 60MVA, this community has grown exponentially; so they have exceeded the installed capacity here,” he stated.

The minister said President Muhammadu Buhari knew the substation required an expansion, adding that the capacity had been increased from 120MVA to 300MVA.

He stated, “Between that time and when President Buhari came three years ago, some people were there. But they will come back to you; so, when they come back, ask them if they didn’t know where to buy transformers.

“The problem of electricity is slowly being solved, one by one. Anybody will tell you he will do magic; tell him, ‘How?’ He should explain to you. We inherited 800 containers for power equipment left in the port for 10 years. President Buhari gave us approval, and we have recovered 690.”

According to Fashola, there are 90 transmission projects ongoing across the country, and some of the recovered of pieces equipment are being used for them.

“If you look at it, between 2015 and now, you ask yourself honestly: Are you spending more on diesel now or before? Are you running your generators for longer today or yesterday? So, are you seeing the power slowly staying longer? If you are truthful to yourself, you will know that it is better than yesterday. And we haven’t finished,” he said.

The Managing Director, TCN, Usman Mohammed, said the installation of the two units of 100MVA transformers at the Ejigbo Transmission Substation was funded by the World Bank through the firm’s project management unit.

He stated, “With the increase in the Ejigbo substation’s capacity, the TCN has substantially increased bulk electricity available in the substation for the Ikeja Electricity Distribution Company to take to its customers. Consequently, electricity consumers in Ejigbo, Egbe, Oke-Afa, Shasha, Ikotun, Ijegun, and Idimu town will now have improved power supply from Ikeja Electric.”

“Other benefits include relieve of some overloaded feeders in Egbe, Shasha and Oke-Afa. Also, the Lagos airport will now have more load allocated to it. Improved power supply in these areas will positively impact the socio-economic development of the areas in particular and the economy at large.”

Which Railway line? APC = Lying Liars!!!

This is a propaganda.

This railway line is still the way it was when Goodluck Ebele Jonathan GCFR PhD handed over Nigeria to the gworo-chewing, cow-fvcking, head-slamming terrorist.

If anyone is in doubt, let him produce pictures of this completed Ajaokuta-Warri railway line project.

Don't mind those jokers. That rail line has been completed since 2001-2002. APC and propaganda...
