Car TalkRe: 18L Of Petrol For 36KM Distance by Itulah(m):
Jollos:
Good day NL,

I use a pathfinder 4.0L engine V6, today I covered a distance of 36km on a very bad road. The journey lasted for 3hrs non stop due to the bad road. With some heavy load inside the car at some point during the journey.

Pls is 18L fuel not on the high side for a journey of 36km although on a very terrible bad road.
Considering the weight of that vehicle; plus your loads, 3hrs+ drive duration, couple with the road conditions and driving habit; I personally don't see anything wrong with its MPG.

A client was interested in this Toyota Corolla and he invited my team at Autos and Cartalk (Limited) to inspect it for him.

On getting to the car, it has about 300,000 miles on its mileage and this has been done to its battery compartment.

Will you still buy it despite all that?
That's why I love Peugeot, it came with auto battery lock from factory.

1)All educated youth in Nigeria are aware...
Name two states or region with educated, Liberal, intelligent, enlightened and exposed people
Definitely it will be lagos and Abuja right!
And obi won those states
2) the three major contestants were from the three major region...atiku(hausa), tinubu( yoruba), obi(igbo)
So the South South were in a better position to choose because no one among the contestants were their brother....and guess what the South South chose obi
3) osun state is the home of tinubu and yet tinubu lose am because osun state is some how seen as the most educated place in South west...which means tinubu is not even supposed to be among the contestants..not to talk of becoming the president
So if you are a Nigerian youth and you can't figure out this simple truth then your education is a total waste and you need to collect your school fees from any tertiary institution you finished from
You are 💯% correct. Majority may know this and deliberately chose to look the other way, because of small benefits they are getting from this illegal government. How long will that last...

EducationUK Universities Disagree With Government’s Ban On Foreign Students’ Families by Itulah(op): 5:24am On May 26, 2023
Key Highlights:
While picking holes in the new immigration policy which bars foreign students from bringing families, Universities across the country said the move was a threat to the country’s global success as a top destination for international talents.
It said the development will worsen the financial pressure in the United Kingdom.
The UUK Director, Arrowsmith, said foreign students contributed largely to the economy, adding that UK nationals had a wide acceptance of international students.

Universities across the United Kingdom have faulted the country’s new immigration rules which bars foreign students from bringing their families as dependants as part of new measures to check the influx of immigrants.

The universities across the UK said that the move was a threat to the country’s global success as a top destination for international talent and needed to be considered very carefully.

According to a statement issued by the Director of the UK International (UUK), Jamie Arrowsmith, the body of universities specifically said the development will worsen their financial pressure in the United Kingdom.

Foreign students contribute largely to UK economy
Arrowsmith said foreign students contributed largely to the economy, adding that UK nationals had a wide acceptance of international students.

Arrowsmith in the statement said, “International students make an invaluable contribution to our universities and to the UK’s economy. Building on the government’s explicit commitments and ambitions, which were clearly set out in the international education strategy, we have seen significant growth since 2019.

“Our research shows that international students make a huge economic contribution to the UK, with a single cohort delivering a total benefit of £41.9 billion.

“We also know that the public is overwhelmingly supportive of the international students we attract – just nine percent of people think we should be discouraging international students from choosing the UK.”

Government should explore other ways

While Arrowsmith said he understood the impact an unchecked influx may be having in some areas, he asked the government to explore other ways of curbing immigration that would not cripple an already weakened financial situation for the universities.

The statement added, “While the vast majority of students will be unaffected by proposals that limit the ability to be accompanied by dependents, more information is needed on the programmes that are in scope before a proper assessment of the impact can be made.

“We, therefore, urge the government to work with the sector to limit and monitor the impact on particular groups of students – and on universities, which are already under serious financial pressures. The review process that has been announced must consider these issues.”

“Ultimately, our collective aim must be to ensure that international students who choose the UK can be confident that they are welcome here, that their contribution is valued, and that the terms on which they have made decisions remain stable. Anything that threatens to affect the UK’s global success as a top destination for international talent needs to be considered very carefully.’’

FoodHilda Baci Cook-a-thon Viewed 4.8 Billion Times Worldwide – Report by Itulah(op):
The audience reached from Hilda’s Baci (Hilda Bassey Effiong) recent attempt to enter the Guinness World Records as the person with the record of the longest cooking period was over 4.8 billion, a media intelligence report said

The report was published by Media Intelligence Consultancy, P+ Measurement Services, which claimed to have done a media performance audit on Baci’s Cook-a-thon, which elevated her to the title of world’s longest cook.

The company said that the audit studied and exposed the sponsorships of Hilda Baci’s Cook-a-thon, as well as the sentiment, reach, and share of the media by countries.

The survey also indicated that the digital media, which received over 87 percent of the traction and traditional media, which gained just 13 percent, played a vital role in promoting awareness and engagement with the event.

It explained that a significant number of social media mentions of the event were also made online..

According to the report, 67% of the media coverage of Hilda Baci’s cook-off came from Nigeria, 15% from the United States, 4% from the United Kingdom, 3% from Ghana, Nigeria’s neighbour, and 1% from Canada. The media share of the remaining nations was relatively lower, showing various levels of interest and coverage.

The report said, “According to the analysis, the positive sentiment garnered 85%, which can be leveraged by Hilda Baci to build brand loyalty and increase engagement with her audience; while the negative sentiment of 15% suggests that any issues or concerns raised during the event were addressed promptly and effectively.

“The analysis of media share by country highlights the top five countries with the highest earned media coverage of Hilda Baci. 67% of the media coverage emanates from Nigeria, followed by the USA with 15%. The United Kingdom with 4%, Ghana with 3%, and Canada with 1%. The remaining countries had a relatively lower media share, indicating varying degrees of interest and coverage.

“Hilda Baci’s Cook-a-thon was analysed using data harvested from traditional and digital media. These media types provided significant insights on the reach, impact, and characteristics of the event, with 87% generated from digital media and 13% from traditional media, providing a sense of credibility and authenticity to the event.

“The audience reach of 4,812,704,500 is a testament to the popularity and success of the Cook-a-thon media engagement. The traditional media gained 13% and the digital media gained 87% based on the media types analysed. The high percentage of online media mentions also suggests that digital media played a significant role in driving awareness and engagement about the event.

“The Amore Gardens, the top sponsor, received 18% of the media attention, followed by Uber with 14%, BaigeWallet came in third with 13%, and Arla and Woodscope in lower positions with 10% and 9%, respectively. Noting that media prominence doesn’t necessarily equate to the level of financial or logistical support provided by each sponsor. It reflects the volume of media exposure and visibility they received during the event period.

TNORWAY:
How long will it take for current of 745mA to deposit 8.56g of chromium into the cathode using a solution of CrCl3.

Answer to question 1:
To determine the time required for the deposition of chromium onto the cathode, we need to consider Faraday's laws of electrolysis. These laws state that the amount of substance deposited or liberated at an electrode is directly proportional to the quantity of electricity passed through the electrolyte.

First, let's find the number of moles of chromium that will be deposited using the given mass of 8.56 g. The molar mass of chromium (Cr) is approximately 52 g/mol.

Number of moles of chromium = Mass / Molar mass
Number of moles of chromium = 8.56 g / 52 g/mol ≈ 0.1646 mol

According to Faraday's laws, 1 mole of electrons corresponds to 1 mole of chromium deposited. Each mole of electrons corresponds to 1 Faraday (F), which is approximately 96,485 C/mol.

Therefore, the number of coulombs required to deposit 0.1646 mol of chromium can be calculated as follows:

Coulombs = Faraday constant (C/mol) × Number of moles of chromium
Coulombs = 96,485 C/mol × 0.1646 mol ≈ 15,894 C

Now, we can calculate the time required using the formula:

Time (seconds) = Coulombs / Current (Amperes)
Time (seconds) = 15,894 C / 0.745 A ≈ 21,342 seconds

So, it will take approximately 21,342 seconds or about 5 hours and 55 minutes for a current of 745 mA to deposit 8.56 g of chromium onto the cathode using a solution of CrCl3.
