Congratulations! Thank God it ended in praise and may Canada favour you. I'll testify soon here too. mama12345: Good news guys, my PPR just came in at 7:46am this morning. It can only be God, I am still in shock. My story is a special one, my Bachelors is Law, I have an LLB, BL (Law School), and Masters in International Business, but I applied for Diploma, not even Post Graduate Diploma, but Diploma in Digital Business Management. I wasn't even aware of this forum when I applied in September, I just followed a YouTuber (Noel Abingwa) and learnt the steps and documents needed when applying for my visa through one of his Videos. I contacted him and he was kind enough to share his statement of purpose/ letter of explanation with me. As I started getting anxious, I decided to join this forum 30th December and it was so encouraging because I kept getting alot of support, more especially from @Makano.
I got this message below from Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship's Office, on the 18th of February 2022
IRCC records confirm that your application was received on September 6, 2021, and is being processed at the Canadian visa office in Nairobi. Criminality checks and medical examination results are passed, however, further review is required before an eligibility decision is made. This means that the case is no longer straightforward and will, in most situations, lead to additional delays in processing. Once a decision has been made, officers will be in a position to determine next steps in processing
Thank you for answering my questions, more especially in the past two days after the message I got above.
@Makano encouraged me that "If truly you are truthful with your application and you didn't hide any information from them, then expect a positive decision from them"
Thank you @PatrickOkunima @olasubomy @mrprolifik @VIKKYIFE @Teemenzo @Time2soar1 @Predator188 who helped give me answers to my posts as well.
I even ordered for GCMS notes on the 4th of January but its still not out.
My Time Line
Submission/AOR 6th September 2021 Medicals Passed 25th October 2021 1st Ghost update November (Not sure of exact date) 2nd Ghost update 24th January 2022 3rd Ghost update 19th February 2022 Passport Request 21st February 2022
My application took a total of 168 days , 5months, 15 days. I DID NOT USE AN AGENT
God did it for me. I cannot thank God enough. It can only be God

ORIGINAL PASSPORT REQUEST !!! GOD DID IT Protocol breaking God. It ended in praise After 9months of submitting my application First time application GRAND UNCLE SPONSORSHIP It will be so bad and ungrateful if don’t come back here to give my timeline to help others , the way other people helped me too. I got every information I needed from nairaland ranging from submitting application to writing sop all information gotten from nairaland ,with very good people that are willing to help. TIMELINE Submit application:May 15th 2021 Biometrics request:May 16th 2021 Biometrics appointment:May 26th 2021 Biometrics updated:May 26th 2021 Upfront medical: June 16th 2021 Medicals updated: July 13th 2021 Ordered my 1st gcsmnotes :September 26th 2021 Gcsmnotes received:November 29th 2021 Ordered another gcsmnotes : January 26th 2022 Correspondence letter:February 17th 2022 PPR:February 17th 2022.
DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED PROOF OF FUNDS SOLE SPONSOR - UNCLE 6MONTHS BANK STATEMENT CAC of his company Landed properties passport bio data Survey of his landed properties Memorandum and article of association of company Certificate of occupancy of landed properties Waec results Secondary school testimonial Secondary school transcripts Letter of recommendation from my school Letter of volunteer at an hospital Letter of sponsorship Letter of consent from my parents Letter of acceptance Pictures with my sponsor Picture with my sponsor and parent Awards from school including that I was the head girl
Note : my gcsmnotes I ordered stated insufficient proof of third party sponsorship . I came to nairaland to ask for what I should do . I was asked to act fast on it because it is very close to a refusal but God doesn’t fail. Nairaland gurus told me to fire back using email and webform this thing actually works most important the general webform which make you know that they have received your enquiry. *Letter of explanation explaining the relationship between I and my sponsor why he would what to sponsor me . *I stated that his children are grownups and successfully established in their careers so he doesn’t have major financial responsibility towards them *birth certificate of my grand uncle and my grandma, *family tree, *old pictures of my grand uncle and grand ma , *recent pictures of my grand uncle and I on my Graduation day *Receipt of my full year tuition fees, *stating that GIC account will be created for me once my visa is approved Also, all glory and honour to God that made this possible because this application is far from perfect . “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;” Proverbs 3:5 NIV. With prayer and fasting the application was approved. Also , trust God while waiting because I was so discouraged when I come to nairaland and I see most application with uncle sponsorship are not approved even those with same surnames talk less of me that it is grand uncle with different surname from mine. I told God that I want my application to be different with this grand uncle sponsorship. I want to give a testimony of grand uncle sponsorship because what’s impossible with man is possible with God. Also, while waiting try to distract yourself from thinking of it because it really affects one’s mental especially. The waiting period is not easy but it will be easier if you have faith in God . I joined NLP by pastor b which made me closer to God and speak to God about my application. In the mighty the name of God , those that are planning to submit their application and people waiting for a decision to be made on their application they will get a positive decision very soon in Jesus name because mark 11:24 “That what ever you ask in prayers believe you have receive it and it is yours”Also ,remember “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 . Thank you so much nairalanders always answering my questions especially @ makano , @scott9ish , @anon123 , @liana2020 @justmellow ( who said he his looking forward to my testimony here is it ) and others that I forgot to mention .I really appreciate. I hope this helps someone.

Congratulations Thank God it ended in praise. I'll testify here too. Butterflyita: It’s PPR GUYS
My story is long and I may not have the timeline correctly bear with me, I’ll post the second timeline because the first one I’m not sure of since the agent I used didn’t let me have access to my profile
This journey started in 2020 basically, that’s when I contacted one popular Canada agent, she’s the one that got admission for me in Crandall university, which I later regretted because the school is way expensive for a one year program but so far I reach there, every other thing will be sorted. So after I got admission I applied in February 2021 with my husband through the agent, for her services we paid over 2k cad, and we got rejected, I was dismayed after all the money spent and all, so the agent told us to try again but was now advising I apply alone, I asked her why she didn’t say this in the first place and she said she can’t tell IRCC’s decision sometimes they approve both partners, other times they disapprove, for this reapplication she was charging 1500CAD, I wasn’t having it, I was pissed after paying more than 2kCAD and was refused, I was asking for a discount and that was the last time I heard from her, meanwhile my husband was on naira land by then and came across frankrobben , that guy was just God sent, after our first consultation he pointed out mistakes made in my first application and what we would do differently this time around , he said I would have to apply alone and gave me cogent reasons, we agreed and hired him. This guy went to work, gave me a list of documents to provide, wrote a very strong SOP AND LOE, even me sef I believe and he submitted in august, guess what happened, another rejection.. see ehn at this point I was pissed because first the reason they even gave was funny, that I didn’t have career prospects at home even when I submitted a letter from my employer granting me a partially paid study leave, with an opportunity for promotion when I get back. See ehn at this point I was done, I called my husband and frank, told them I’m facing UK Abeg and I’m done, after much back and forth, Frank said madam listen I understand how frustrating this is but trust me it’ll be worth it at the end and that did it. We decided to go with JR because we were sure their reason wasn’t good at all, so we contacted a lawyer in Canada and we began the process, I asked the lawyer how long the process will take she said 3 months, surprisingly after she filed and wrote to the defense counsel stating why we were going to court and how their decision was faulty from the start, in less than 7 days they reached out to her for a settlement and reopened my file requested for updated documents , I submitted them again. They asked for medicals, I gave them and now PPR. Please if you know you submitted a strong application and they still refuse you, if you can afford it go for a JR, my experience taught me that this people don’t go through our application thoroughly, I think once they see Nigeria it’s a negative and they refuse without valid reading . Well it has ended in praise. This platform taught me a lot or my husband a lot because he was the one that introduced me to this platform and this is where we met Frank. I always look out for ppr stories and landing gist and promised myself that I’ll post mine when it happens. It’ll end in praise for all of us. Thank you 1 Like |

I remembered I just finished a three days fasting from our regular morning prayers,Next Level Prayers. Imagine a rejection mail after praying and fasting. I was devastated.♀️
Received my gcms note- June 17, 2021 stating the refusal reason which was primarily noted lump sum without explanation to the source of funds. It took me 3 to 4 months to re-apply because I was willing to put in all my best.
Second Application Submitted- October 6, 2021 Medical updated- October 13, 2021 Eligibility started- January 4, 2021 Passport Request- February 14, 2022
I also got a mail also from Abuja because I finished them with mails last week.
What I did differently -I changed from a two year program to one year program, same course but different school. Explained why I changed from two years to one year because I don’t want to be away from my kids for so long. -I changed sponsor from self-sponsor to spouse-sponsor. -Paid first semester school fee. -Added more personal asset for myself and my spouse both as couple and as individual. -Re-wrote my LOE to address all the concerns noted in my gcms note. -Added few online courses certificate that aligned with the intended program. -I asked a lot of questions when in doubt. -I sent my documents to few people on this journey to review before submission.
I just want to return all glory back to God almighty, the finisher of my faith and my anchor through the waiting. He said it and he brought it to pass. Thank you to my MVPs that kept encouraging me and listening to all my complaints and ranting. You are amazing and I intend to keep our friendship❤️❤️.
