This destruction of oil facilities is already turning out to be blessing in disguise for the FG and Nigeria as a whole. The proof is the 70% non oil revenue in the N559B shared by the states for June. We can expect the trend will continue as more sources of revenues come into the frame soon.

The way the civil war of 1967-1970 taught the Igbos many hard lessons such that they eventually turn out to become manufacturing/industrial hub of Nigeria economy, is the same way these sustained militancy will help the govt hasten her diversification efforts.
