I think revalidation can be done when they open the portal for online registration. I need to be enlighted pls , am having similar issue.

The entry control officer (especially in U.S.A.) has the right and power to do this.
They are the one allowing or denying your entry.
If they find anything they do not like such as job papers on tourist then you are on the next plane out.
If you protest, make a fuss and noise then you are into detention for even more security checks.

Most of the immigration are just racist ,they don't even care about your mission, either genuine or not and they are actually the one that issued u visa. They did the same for me many years back. After winning a bet and tried to withdraw they started telling me incomplete information. I was forced to used the whole cash and pay another bet when I couldn't reach any of their agent. They are real thief.
