Gambling existed long time before I came into this world, it was here before me. Since inception, it has ruin countless lives. Its a game people play, with the word " Luck" on their lips. Using small amount of money to win big amount. To them its risk, try your luck.... They keep trying , with hope that one day they would hit jackpot. The Jackpot will pay off on their sweat and struggles. They anticipate results and are filled with anxiety , worry and mixed feelings. "I just hope I win today..." This is what they keep telling themselves everyday, into months and into years. They even feed their desperate minds with quotes about winning. An example; "Winners never quit, but losers quit" The Hope and mentality that one day I would hit jackpot, have kept them playing . No one wants to back out, the thoughts of trying again , you might win , have glued them to the game.. They just don't want to miss their luck or chance. Some even go extreme into Voodoos and enchantments so they can win. Those that gamble with numbers, wake up each day, wishing to hear lucky numbers, that would aid their bets. A real life story was told, about a mad man, that stood at one of the bridges in Lagos, he came out that morning, calling out numbers, Gamblers rushed down too, where he was calling out numbers, thinking those numbers will aid their bets. As he kept calling, people were desperate to get winning number from him. They have this belief , that if a mad man calls a number, its lucky number, hence the rush towards this man. Unknown to them, it was the number of people he had thrown into the water that morning. When people noticed this, they took to their heels. You can see how desperate gamblers get, even at the expense of their lives. It happened for real in Lagos, Nigeria. In recent times, Technology was able to enhance gambling. It took it to another dimension. There is a saying.... When the rich robs the poor, its Business. When the poor robs the rich, its a crime. The Developers of this new gambling methods, had no intention to make life better for you or anyone , they simply want to ruin it, take every penny from you , fill you with hopes and anticipation , Leave you desperate, poorer and useless. Yes! That's what they do. The little money you have, that you would have used in sustaining yourself, they collect it from you and give you the hope of becoming a millionaire overnight. Many may have won millions, and thousands of naira, but if only they knew what they stole from them is bigger than the money they won, they would be wise. They don't only steal your money, they steal your time, intellectuals , goals and ambitions. No one has ever succeeded gambling his way to success. They introduced a new form of gambling, which is Sports Betting.. I call it advanced Pool. They know you love sports, and if they can capture you with what you love... Big bang! You become their slave. I once wrote , "You control people with what they hear and see"... For example; you tell a young man, bet #100 and win #100000, At first he may doubt you, but if you show him examples of people that won, he becomes interested and bought... In fact, The gambling companies, make few people winners, So they can lure and inspire people to play. That's the tricks. This is what they use in killing youths gradually, erasing their capabilities, encouraging indolence, laziness, stealing, greediness, strife, desperation, the be-rich-quick syndrome and wickedness. Some would rather starve for them to play. Insane! One thing any future entrepreneur should bear in mind is, making money while wasting and making life meaningless for others is useless and would hit the rocks. Avoid such business. Yea you may make 6 digits or 7 digits per day or monthly, but what joy is your money when you have wasted millions ,thousands and hundreds of youths and adults? Create values instead, even if the returns ain't coming in quantum, but the most important thing is, you have Joy and Free conscience. Solve needs and make money Solving the needs.. Microsoft solved the need for internet and he makes money from it. So many others too. You can and you should. In conclusion Avoid gambling, before it ruins your life completely. There are better things to do with your time and money.. Source: http://emabounty..com.ng/2016/01/gambling-canker-ruining-our-youths.html?m=1 Photo Credit; GamblingHelp.org

Nepotism, greediness , selfish interest, favoritism , bribery , stealing ! Ranks one of Nigerias Ancient Problems. Corruption is the State of mind. A Corrupt mind would do all the above mentioned. Saying you are fighting corruption, is like turning yourself into spirit and knowing everything going on, in every mind. Let's stop decieving ourselves. Let's Chant Repentance. Repentance means the turning away from your bad ways! Our Leaders needs to Repent.. |
One of the Worst thing you can do in Life, is risk your life fighting for Land.... Land Case is one of the most Dangerous case ever. Many precious lives and families have died and many are swiming in the ocean of Enemity and Deep Hatred... Even if its your rightful possession, Leave them, let them enjoy! They won't carry the land to the grave. If you have the Money, I would advice you please go and buy another land. Its better to live in peace than in enemity and fear! # Peace. |
It Was Fun Galore Yesterday, Were The Former Governor Of Rivers State Was Celebrated. One Would Wonder, Why Was He Celebrated? A Man That Milked Rivers State Dry, A Man That Diverted State Funds To Campaigning Of Buhari, A Man That Halted Activities In Rivers State, Stopped Judiciary Activities, Plunged Rivers State In Mess? Am Yet To Understand, Does It Mean We Celebrate Mediocrity? Does It Mean We Celebrate Irresponsibility? Its Obvious , That This Is Absurd, Misplaced Priorities.. Here This; Rotimi Amaechi Provided The Money We Used , During Election In Bauchi State. - Bauchi State Governor On Channels Tv , Yesterday. What A Country! |

Buhari tells Nigerians in Benin Republic not to come back home. Today, President Buhari was in Benin Republic. In his meeting with the Nigerian Community he was asked a question by some Nigerians as to what his govt is doing to ensure that Nigeria is good so that Nigerians living in Benin Republic and other foreign countries return home. To the bewilderment and shock of his listeners Buhari asked them what they were coming home to Nigeria to do. Buhari told them that it was better that they remain in Benin Republic where they were doing well than to return to Nigeria were they would be met with unemployment and contribute to his govt burden. This was said today by Buhari in Benin Republic. I wonder how a president can say this kind of thing to his compatriots. I wonder whether this guy actually thinks about what he would say before saying it. The simple answer that we as a govt were doing everything possible to make Nigeria better would have done the magic or at best, he would have remained silent. Afterall, it is often better to remain silent and some persons may think that you are a fool than to open your mouth and to remove all doubts. chai !!!!!!!!!!!! Change Agents how far? |

Most times when we walk into big malls, boutiques, supermarkets, we never question their prices. We pay exactly what we see on the price tags and even hand out tips to the staff. But the moment we are out of these shops and want to buy banana , our bargaining game gets off to the roof. Poor widow with 12 hungry children at home tells you banana is N100. She even takes out her time to explain how difficult it was for her to even buy it, how the economy is so tough. But we insist that if it's not N50, we are not paying. Some of us even step back into our cars and make to drive away. But because 'half bread is better chin chin', this woman is forced to call you back and sell to you at little or no gain. In her heart, she cries, she's worried about how she'll survive with her children. She silently reassures herself that 'It's well. God will definitely provide' while you happily chop the luscious banana. Take some seconds out and think about this, guys. Please stop the hard bargains with small vendors like these. They do business not to buy designer bags, Gucci shoes but to LIVE and EAT! #Touching Author Annie Ottah photocredit; wikipedia.org

Manny Pacquiao is Incredibly No doubt a Good Boxer. Mayweather was Just Running Around the Ring, being Defensive. There are Classic Traits to Learn From Manny. Character, Integrity, Composure, Focus, and Humility. The Fights is actually ,the game of Numbers and Supports. To me, Manny Pacquiao was actually Robbed, Sad he couldn't call 911, hahhaha! Many have lamented how Boring and dubious the game was. Even our own Don Jazzy lamented so. The Loosers are the Gamblers and those who spent whooping sum of money to watch the match.(Seriously, that money could have been donated to charity or given to people hungry on the streets, then buy 100 naira CD from alaba boys on Monday). All na show off! What a waste! Well there are so many inspiring quotes from Manny Pacquiao. You should check it out! I remember as a little boy I ate one meal a day and sometimes slept in the street. I will never forget that and it inspires me to fight hard, stay strong and remember all the people of my country, trying to achieve better for themselves. --Manny Pacquiao(Brainy Quotes) I've always fought for my country, in my own way, showing that Filipinos are a strong people and can do anything that they put their minds to. -Manny Pacquiao(Brainy quotes)
