Nairaland GeneralBeware! StackAgent Is A Fraudulent Platform by iwuemma(op):
I am taking my time to write this, because as much as i love innovative ideas, i hate the ones who turn it to a fraudulent system.
This review is coming from an unbiased mind but the need to save others from this fraud called STACKAGENTS.

I didnt just wake up to call them fraud, it took a month plus to come to this conclusion.
Will be attaching screenshots to show how fraudulent they are.
This is a clear warning to anyone trying to join that platform to please RUN AWAY !

On Feb, i requested for payment, till date i havent been paid, i personally registered 2 people with my own hand, and they denied me the referral bonus, wiped off and reverted to zero, and i cant even withdraw the money i earned.

Here is a brief info,
Stackagents said , if you watch youtube video, you get paid 100 per video, you register with 5000 to be able to watch videos.

Only GOD knows how many people are registered on the platform they are ripping off.

I submitted a support ticket, they deleted it.
They have also changed their phone number.

their website is stackagents.com
beware, run away. they are fraudsters.

STACKAGENT is a Scam! Scam

Nairaland GeneralMy Experience With CBN/ BVN Scammers. by iwuemma(op):
My Recent Experience with the CBN/ BVN Scammers.

Me: incoming SMS,
Reads:
Dear Customer, CBN has blocked your ATM Debit Card due to incomplete BVN registration.
Call our customer care 08144705686 to re- activate.

I laughed!

Mind you, the senders number is different from the customers care number.

Still laughing.

I tried calling with a hidden number, it didn't go.
So I called the so called Cus-scammer Care.

Me: Hello
Cus-scammer Care; yea
( you go fear yea na)
Me : which of my ATM was blocked?

**sensing danger

Cus-scammer Care: *Terminates call*

I laughed !

Very stupid fellows!

Ladies and gentlemen.
As much as possible, we need to spread the tactics of these scammers.
To maim their activities from ripping people off.

Here are few things you must know;

*Banks would never, I repeat, never text you or call requesting for your ATM pin, BVN details and Private informations.

* Read every message on your phone with great patience, especially those with Banking details.
Don't just read and act.
Read and ignore, except Alert Debit. ( don't ignore such, there must be an answer for such debits), but head to the bank.

* Watch out for spelling errors in text messages, although those guys are improving in this aspects.

* If you have any issues, go to the bank and stop waiting for an email or SMS asking to assist you.
Wake up.

My Candid Suggestion:

*Banks should henceforth disconnect every dialing code to get someone's BVN code.

Reasons are; Any phone stolen and misplaced sim cards can easily be manipulated.
Scammers can dial those codes and get the BVN code.

NCC should effect this.
Its very Important.

Somehow, these scammers have a software, that when you input your BVN code, it displays and hijack your banking details and information.

Don't scream how!
Its possible, someone designed that software about BVN, and hackers are working , daily to make things terrible.

Solutions:
Banks should henceforth give BVN code on request inside, I repeat, INSIDE the four walls of the Bank.
This would greatly reduce scammers success.

If possible, a desk should be assigned to a BVN specialist, who is proficient and quick , to ease stress and safety.

* Adverts should focus more on security than opening of an Account.
Its very important we secure the customers database, than allow more customers without optimum security.

That needs to be checked as well.

Go out and orientate people about security and healthy banking safety.

Scammers are banking on the rate of laziness by Nigerians , wanting to do everything at home without steeping an inch.
They are capitalizing on that weakness.
We need to wake up.
But then, All Banks should increase the Speed and Capabilities of their Customer Care services.

Even if you are getting more customer care related issues than deposits and withdrawal, fix that.
If your customer care response is weak, banking becomes difficult.

Fix first things first.

*Its Also Important that Service providers set up A Deactivate A Sim approach, especially when those numbers are obvious in SMS.

What I mean is this,
If The Above number on that text appears, Service providers should be able to Block Such numbers when reported!

This would curtail and weaken their mobile activities.

With these points of Mine, I pray the Bankers and Service providers and even NCC do something drastic and immediate.

Nairaland GeneralWhat Nigeria Couldn't Do For Keshi. by iwuemma(op): 7:31am On Aug 07, 2016
A Lot has truly changed.
Shows how dysfunctional our NFF is, our sporting sector is a shame.

According to BBC sports, Togo players organized a memorial match for Late Stephen Keshi in a far away land, but the country were Stephen devoted his Life for, never thought of celebrating him.

BBC sports reports;

Togo honoured former coach Stephen Keshi, who died in June, by playing a tribute match on Sunday.

Nigerian Keshi, who died suddenly aged 54, was appointed head coach of Togo three times between 2004 and 2011.

The match in Lome was played between the current Togo national side and 'Team Keshi', made up of players who were part of his 2006 squad.

"Keshi was like a big brother for me," said striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who played for Team Keshi.

"He was somebody that I respected a lot and I have to give him a lot of credit because when he joined the Togolese national team he believed in me.

"He was for the first time looking into my eyes and told me how good I was and how good I could become.

"I just listened to his advice because he was a former footballer. Listening to his advice helped me a lot and today I am where I am because of that of that.

"May his soul rest in a perfect peace and let's us keep on remembering him in our prayers."

Fans pay tribute to Keshi
Keshi will be most widely remembered for his feats with Nigeria, both as an Africa Cup of Nations-winning player and coach.

But he also will be associated deeply with Togo, who gave him his first coaching job - and he pulled off a remarkable achievement to qualify them for the 2006 World Cup finals, ahead of Senegal and Zambia.

However, he was sacked by Togo just a few months before the tournament in Germany.

Keshi returned for two more spells - appointed in 2007 and 2011 - but was unable to repeat his earlier success with the Hawks.

More than 20,000 fans were in attendance at the Ominsports stadium in Lome to watch the game, which finished 6-2 to the current Togo national side.

After the match. Adebayor told the crowd: "I would like to pay tribute to him and I hope that the family he left behind will find the needed faith and strength to overcome this period."

Abalo Dosseh, deputy coach and former captain of Togo, told BBC Sport: "It is an honour for me to stand on this pitch in remembrance of Big Boss. He has done a lot for Togolese football and the entire continent.

"I always remember the day I asked to captain the team for the first time and we were also lucky to make the same year to the World Cup.

"All the former players and others who are still playing have come to pay tribute to him."

Toglose former player Olufade Adekambi, who also played alongside Keshi, added: "We thank God that he did many good things for Togo. We are still mourning him because he was like a big brother, a coach and a big man."

I won't be surprised if NFF organises a Memorial match soon , Togo Challenged them.

Nairaland GeneralWAEC offers Kemi Adeosun Free WAEC form..... by iwuemma(op):
Kemi Adeosun raised some questions about the spendings of the Examination body in a video that trended on Social media yesterday.
In the video, Kemi made mathematical blunder, summing up 16 + 6 = 24..
This raised concern among Nigerians.
Some even questioned her education..

Read below the excerpts of the response..

WAEC Registrar, Dr. Iyi Uwadiae, Replies Kemi Adeosun,

1. “It's not enough to go to the Senate and reel out figures. The minister should know, that what Nigerian students pay to sit for WAEC examinations is simply an operational/management cost, that covers registration, data keeping and management, printing of examination papers, logistics, marking of scripts and production of certificates. And all these cost about N16 billion Naira.

2. “WAEC examination is not designed as a revenue generating source for the Federal Government. In fact governments in the past subsidized the examination fees, just to encourage education. The N6 billion she talked about is for payment of salaries and overheads for staff of the council.

3. “However, we do not know the mathematical formula the Honourable Minister used, when she said the summation of N16 billion Naira and N6 billion Naira was N24 billion Naira.
“I think somebody needs to resit her WAEC mathematics examination. And we in WAEC have offered to give her a free WAEC form in this respect.”

Nairaland GeneralA Nairalander Reacts At Senator Ben Bruce by iwuemma(op): 8:59am On Feb 21, 2016
Yesterday some Unilag students Wanted to Impale Senator Ben Bruce , posting defamatory statements about his common sense revolution, for not giving them his book.

It's quite pathetic how people are hating him, simply because he is an Opposition figure, and for that single fact, even if he says anything meaningful , its useless and publicity stunt.

And am wondering how we intend to grow.

I read one stunch APC fan said, Take the Message and leave the messenger .
That even if he is an opposition, he makes real sense.

How many Senators do we have in Nigeria?
Since 1999 till 2015, how many of the Senators you know , that have ever graced that position, took it as a point of duty to Enlighten the People? On any matter at all?

And let's assume he is from APC am sure he would make perfect sense.
But even When Senator Sheu Tried making some sense, it was also appalling to read how he was criticized.

Ben Bruce joined the Assembly recently and decided to break out from the comfort zone and do what No Single Senator since 1999 has ever done and you have the love to hate and cast aspersions and defamatory statements about his common sense revolution?

GOD have mercy on you.

I asked the Poster of this Unilag Story, because he claimed he was there. * check the story on Nairaland, you will see the questions.

The poster was raining abuses on me, abusing my education, but finally I was vindicated when Ben Bruce replied and apologised.

Ben Bruce is a Man, cos Boys escalate unnecessary things, Men Apologise and Move on to pressing issues.

The Amazing part of what Senator Ben Bruce is doing, He is not Instigating the People nor neither is he raising an army that would revolt against the government, nor is he campaigning with it, So lemme ask Why The Hate?

I wonder how on earth we are going to grow as a people ,if we don't decide to look forward, make every suggestions important, weighing and utilizing useful informations , than hating and despising.

We need to Change , so we can compliment the Change we seek for...

wow!

i like that.

cheap popularity? erm i think that was meant for the poster!

despicable?
how?
cos he didnt give them his book?

kai..

and that defined BeN bRUCE as an ingenuine person?

rhymesmith:
Sigh!

Lack of intelligence tells on you sir.
If you do not understand the reason why the students see this as a despicable act, then I guess you never went through the University (and even if you did, you refused to gather the knowledge you were meant gather).

And btw, for your information, you have successfully painted Sen. Ben Murray Bruce in a worse light than these poor students have.

Go and learn how to be more creative instead of just looking for cheap publicity with your #NotSoCommonSense post.
PoliticsRe: Unilag Students Discriminated Against At Ben-Bruce's Birthday/Book Launch by iwuemma(m): 3:14pm On Feb 20, 2016
were you guys tagged special guest of honor?

i dont get the rant!

you want Ben Bruce to serve you personally? spoon feed you guys and hand you guys his book because you guys are guest and from Unilag?

will you say you havent been to a party and service was not carried out properly?
say you havent and you clean your mouth for lying.

event management is one problem , no matter the organizer.
those that managed the events mismanaged it , so holding it against Ben is crass stupidity.

must he be everywhere?

and you using this to cast aspersion on him because he didnt spoon feed you guys? very laughable..

and imagine the hate, you are taking pictures and snapped the food he served you guys?
his own money?

aint you an ingrates..
quite pathetic.

and if he didnt invite you, you would say he despise the student.

they sent you guys up for you to see all that happened.

instead to aspire to do greater things as a masscomm student you are casting aspersion and painting him on the bad light..

knowing fully well that your rant will dent his image as an opposition ..

you also forgot it was live program, so am yet to hear people confirm the humiliation at his birthday..

how many boook lunch have you attended and you got the book free , even to the point it reached everyone!?

probably they ran out of copies!
SO DOES THAT make him bad?

how much do people pay to attend shows by your favorite musicians?
you saw them free of charge and you dey complain?

are you okay?

I used common sense to derive the question i asked you.
not everyone will agree with me but you know they are true.

enjoy your teem drink man....

a4hafoe:
Who is Genuine in Nigeria?

Senator Ben Murray Bruce turned 60 yesterday, he took the opportunity to launch his book "The Common Sense Revolution" but it's sad to see that the event in its totality portrays the average Nigerian Politician.

Usually, I hate to attend these so called "Big" events but it was Ben Bruce, the common sense guy, I jumped at the Opportunity to go with my department, department of Mass Communication, University of Lagos as we were invited with a letter and we were feeling all important. We didn't know it was an invitation to humiliation.

At the venue, we were told to go upstairs, we didn't mind, as they said that area was reserved for students. Getting there, I realized it was a perfect view to watch the "Elites" wine and dine. Still, we didn't care. We only began to care when the ceremony kept going on and all tables kept getting additional contents and we were just there, like Observers. Don't forget that we were invited, as I said earlier.

While all of that kept happening, I still didn't care because they said every guest will get a free copy of the book. I wanted the book so, I waited on. At the end, only the guests got the Book. I had to look at our invitation to be sure we were guests. Yes, we were guests but the stiff class stratification that Senator Bruce Criticizes came to play.

It's so sad to see that the actions of the Common Sense Guy justifies the "Common Sense is not so common" statement.

Since I know it's all fake, I'd like to give a professional PR advice. It's so bad, if you invite Nigerian Students, who will, to a large extent, determine your political success, to an event only for them to watch you and your rich friends dine. Their votes aren't even enough.

Writing a book about Common Sense doesn't actually make you have Common Sense. We aren't hungry people. We are Unilag Students and we are contented with what we have, we wouldn't go to shop 10 to sweet-talk anyone about common sense, just to get rice.

Happy Birthday, Senator Ben! Thanks for the deceit, segregation and above all, thanks so much for the Palm oil made Jollof Rice with a meat-like object.

I am Abidemi Adesokan, A concerned Nigerian Student who believes there is hope for Nigeria, but Bruce isn't just that guy.

Was on the Bus waiting for the bus to fill up, at CMS under bridge going to APAPA, all of a sudden , I started hearing loud noises , cries and screams..

I was shocked and kept wondering what has happened.
All gaze shifted to a particular part of the road..

I was curious !

What happened ? I inquired.
I was told A Lamata BRT bus just crushed a young man on the BRT lane.

Ha !

What!

I crossed over to that area, what I saw twisted my mood, I looked at how a human being was lying lifeless.

I was just shaking..

Started reflecting on how empty this world is, and how powerless we are.

I heard that Same BRT type Killed someone on Monday 25 2016. Same spot , same BRT lane.

The blood stains are still there.

I was shocked..!

Now this is for Lagos State Government.

I appeal to Lagos state Government to Conduct a Seminar for All BRT drivers in Lagos State,
Educating them on Safety , Speed, Tolerance and Patience.

Furthermore, I appeal they put speed bumps on every BRT lanes, all over Lagos, especially places close to bus stops and crowds.

Please and Please.
Thank you.
