Dear Doctor in the House,

I have been having this severe back pain for a while now. Iy is always so painful and I wou,d like to find out what I can possibly do to ease off the pain .I even ind it difficult to bend.

Following the mail below I sent to you and your response, I have more questions still on this same matter based on what I have experienced in the past one month and I would very much appreciate it if you could shed more light.


On the 2nd of Aprilm I had this terrible backache and lower abdominal pain. It was pianfull that I was unable to stand straight. I also started bleeding (the blood was fresh looking and not like menses. I bled for more than 5 days and even after the bllod stopped, the back/lower abdominal pains continued.On the 13th of April, I went to the bathroom to ease myslef and behold, a ball shaped mass of dark blood fell out of my vagina.iit was the size of a tennis ball. I used tissue and i shocked at the amount of black blood from my vagina. One thing I noticed was the back/lower abdominal pains supsided almost immediately. but I bled for more than one week before all the pains as well as the blood stopped.

Just this wednesday, 25th of April, I had sexual intercourse with my husband and I was shocked to see blood from my vagina when I cleaned. This happened immediately after the intercourse with my husband. I have been bleeding red blood for the past 3 days and its flowng far more than my menses. I also have slight backache and lower abdomen discomfort, as well as slight thigh cramps.

Please Doctor, I need your hlp.

I had a miscarraige in Dec 2012 and a scan taken about 2 weeks later showed that there were still tissues that I needed to pass out. I was given some tablets to enable me release the tissues on the 16th of January and I bled for almost two weeks.

I've been having regular intercouse with my hubby since mid february and after taken those drugs in January, I am yet to see my period.

I am very worried because my period has never been late. I have taken about 2 home pregnancy tests which were negative and I have also done a scan which didnt show any baby but only showed the fibroids in my womb. I have been told to come for a rescan in two weeks.

I spotted blood for a few hours around 1st week in March and also had slight cramps in between my legs and that was all. I am still having this severe backaches and high body temperature.

Could it be that I am pregnant again? If yes, why is it not showing in the scan? and If no, what could make my period seize for two months past?
