Don't send anything through DHL,let your wife go with the documents on the day of the interview.
thanks the reason we planned to send it through Dhl is because we didn’t know she ll be pregnant before her appointment date so we filled in for visitation now that she is pregnant that’s why we are changing it to birthing. So kindly share experience if she need to fill in another Dd-160 and take it along with her for her interview or mail the letter from sponsor and other document. Her boss who is also her uncle a honourable member at the National Assembly will be the sponsor

Definitely. Because your VO might ask of any particular document at any point in time.
thanks so there is no point sending it by Dhl to the embassy before interview date? Because originally she meant to go for visitation but now that she is Pregnant she already paid part payment hospital bills and also had an appointment with a doctor in the USA

Goodn morning please I need help
Making an appointment each time I set to make an appointment for my family friend the portal keeps saying no available date. Like I said in my previous post she was denied last moth. Do we need to wait for 6months before trying to reschedule her appointment and Is the receipt number still good?

OmoBendel24:

Lolz, the appointment portal isn't down anything. Since your answer is yes, you wont get no date, you probably have to wait till you sit out the 6months, US Embassy doesn't want our money again, they want us to ensure we build more and maybe enough satisfactory ties before we come back, instead of letting us just overload their interview dates with repetitions. Have you not heard or read interview dates are now in October, even with all the refusals oh? It shall be well with our government!

For those that will answer no to my earlier question, and are probably doing a date change on an already scheduled appointment, it means you have exceeded the number of times you can get to that level of attempting to reschedule for the day, rest till next day. Do your available date check with another or a dummy account, and if you find a suitable date available, you can then rush to change date on the actual account. Good internet, good strategy will help....
Thats kinda funny . How long is the visa fee payment good for though?

She was denial beacuse of not given the extact monthly amount she put in her DS-160 application. And the amount she earns is small for an accountant, Atimes some of the VO evaluate base on this. She was the one that made the mistake, she could av just called the amount she put in the form for the VO. No need of explaining bc the VO does not check any document. She can only explain when the VO request for the payslip and sees her net pay, she can then explain to the VO she has additional income that she get from her business and state the amount. That is why I encourage applicants to explain, not just stand there and give short ans, explain, there is room for explanation ,the vo will not know if u d'nt explain. She was denial beacuse of her work profile. Let her work on it.

Secondly what the VO requested from her was passport not invitation letter, She could av not handed the invitation to the VO immediately. If the VO wants to see it ,she will request for it. Atimes this VO d'nt check letter of invitation.

My advice let her put the total amount she earns monthly that is 410. If she is asked then she explain. If no question on that let her keep quiet. Since is 410 she wrote in her DS-160, she can explain, that the last time she said 134 instead of 410, then she can now explain the additional income.

Then for that 3weeks let her make it to be 2weeks for vacation. She is taking part of her annual leave for vacation to visit her brother or sister. I just hope the VO will not ask her much questions about u ,especially the changing of y status.

Then next time when she is asked where she is visiting in the USA let her mention the state and the city not just the city. Eg. Where in the USA are u going? I am going to Florida, Jacksonvillecity.
All the best to her.

Of course yes I asked her and this is what she gave me me
Her: Good morning
Vo: with a big smile Good morning . Passport pls
Her: she handed over her passport her invitation letter the copy of my American passport and that of my wife.
Vo: where in the United States are you going?
Her; Jacksonville Fl
Vo: how long are you staying
Her: 3weeks
Vo: what do you do and what’s your monthly income
Her: I work with Luth as an accountant and I make 134k
Note: she put 410k because of her bizness while filing the d 160 form but failed to explain to the vo.
Vo: smile
Have you travelled before?
Her: yes I have been to Dubai for 9days
Vo: typing and hand her the blue paper .
She asked me to resend the letter and notarize it for her again so she can apply again in September. What do you think is wrong ?

Thanks once again so do you think it’s cool
For her to re apply and book an appointment for August and September? Alone or I should just invite her and her husband?

The way I see it.. I don't see her coming back to Nigeria... That's my opinion anyway.
Right you are entitled to your own opinion. But she will definitely go back to Naija. This is an open forum so there is no cause to lie . All profiles got the features where all profiles are kinda anonymous

Ps can u tell y sister to post her transcript if she is in this forum. Let us see her transcript and judge from there too. If she goes with her husband, then she has no tie in Nigeria.
Atimes if they see her work is not strong enough, they might denial her. Moreso u make mention that u came into USA with visiting visa and later changed right? Was she in any way asked anything about her host during her interview? Ps tell her to give u full transcript of her 1st and 2nd denial. Especially the 2nd denial

Thanks so much appreciate your contributions she actually waited a year before she reapplied she works with Luth in the administration dept. she also own a bizness and her husband is a banker. They got no kids together yet . But now she wanna try with her husband to see if that will give her more chances of been considered. What do you think?

Ps let her d'nt say she has kids bc her privious records is with them. They will always run a check on it. She need to be consistent. If she say she has kids now, the VO will supect her and this will arise to questions on how old the kid is and she then say the kid is some months or few years, the VO will then ask why is she not traveling with her child? It does not make sense for a mother to leave her baby at home and travel for vacation alone especially when the kid (s) are still little. She can travel alone as a mother when the kid(s) are good enof to take care of them self. It is not a crime not to have kids yet. USA embassy are not God. My married friend has no kid and she was given visa.

May I ask what y sister does for a living?
If she is working or doing business , how long av she been doing it ?
How much does she earn monthly?
If she is into business how many staffs assisting her?
Then did she give time to apply after the first refusal or she quickly reapplied?
These are the questions she need to ask her self and then focus on her work or business as her strong tie.

Good day all. So I sent an invitation to a family friend in Nigeria but she got denied twice on the basis of not having close ties . Is it because she is going to the interview herself without her husband or what? Cos on both occasions the Vo asked if she got kids with her husband that they have been married For three years but she said No. the issue is her husband is a busy jerk that don’t even have a passport the lady has been to Dubai prior to her first refusal before she reapplied . Any tip on what she can do. Does it make sense for her to answer yes the next they ask if she got kids?

Encourage her to keep lying, she will get the visa... I still don't know why we like lying just for the sake of lying... I will advise her to come clean to the V.O and tell them the truth by confessing although that does not guarantee her the visa but it will wipe the old record and she will have a new record with the embassy.
No need to keep lying when the truth is easy.
Encourage her to lie that part I don’t get the only question I asked is does it make any sense for her to say she got kids when they don’t have any plus everything she got in her application is nothing but the truth . One more question can she apply again with her husband or she should keep trying alone ? And will my status actually affect her cos I came in as a visitor back in 2012 before I change status . Do you think that ll b a red flag thinking she is a potential immigrant?
