The Houthis said they successfully hit another American merchant ship off the coast of Yemen with a ballistic anti-ship missile this morning. The extent of the damage is still unknown. Also, with the help of a large group of drones, 2 American destroyers were attacked. Whether there were any hits is unknown. The attack itself is a confirmation of the Houthi leader's statements yesterday that they will not be afraid and will not back down in their attacks on the US, Britain and Israel. Democrats are threatening to bypass Speaker Johnson on Ukraine aid, reports the Washington Times. Dems are threatening to bypass Mike Johnson if he does not yield to their demands. A group of lawmakers led by House members Brian Fitzpatrick and Jared Golden want to bring to a vote a foreign aid package that includes money for Ukraine and Israel. Vandals burned down Ukraine's largest Jewish cemetery Vandals have once again targeted a site of great significance to the Jewish community by desecrating the graves of Holocaust victims. This incident occurred at the Jewish cemetery in Berdychiv, located in the Zhytomyr region of Ukraine. Remarkably, the local police initiated an investigation based only on the burning of dry grass within the cemetery premises, a matter that typically results in only an administrative fine. The Facebook post has been replaced to not include imagery of damage to the cemetery. It's important to note that the cemetery in Berdychiv has faced similar acts of vandalism in the past, including the looting of burial sites. These deplorable actions have been condemned by members of the community and observers alike. Eduard Dolinsky, a prominent figure in the Ukrainian Jewish community, has highlighted a distressing pattern of grave looting that occurs with alarming regularity. Lithuanian authorities have stripped the pro-Russian ballerina Ilze Liepa of her citizenship. The decision was made by the country's president, Gitanas Nauseda. "Liepa, who has Lithuanian and Russian citizenship, condemned the Baltic states for their behaviour in an interview with Russian media," says LRT. The publication also notes that the ballerina supported the Special Military Operation.
