I presently have a client who had been using Direct On Pc. Apparently their Vsat have been down for over a month now.

There Boadband single user module is a sham, very slow.

I don't know which starcomms office you went It think its a local area issue.

I am based in PH. Starcomms browsing speed and download Speed is presently fantastic.

For example i downloaded about 15Mb virus update file under 5 minutes.

No you are not being deceived, most modern laptops come with what is called express card slot (ie the not straight card slot). So you wont be able to use the Starcomms card with it , which is a PCI card.

The only way is to buy a specialized Router to use with it. which does come cheap and scarce. Starcomms say that very soon they would be bringing in express EVDQ cards. We hope its very soon

If you want to sell within 1 to 2 years, the basic rule of tumb for shares is that the cheaper the better. Cheaper shares rise faster than more expensive shares, no matter how good the company is. trust me i have proved it a number of time in my investment.

A good stock broker would advice you buy for e.g the AIICO shares going for about 3naira now because in a year or two it would sell for 7 to 9 naira ie 2 to three times it present value. while the good old Zenith bank shares would just about add 10 - 15 nara which is stil lest than 50% of it present value.
So buy bak PHP if you must buy bank shares!

Is it running on vista or WinXp?. Most Acer laptops that come with Vista pre-installled have problems when they are installed with WinXp. They don't come with Drivers CD as does most laptops.

If you ask me Acer is problematic
