It is NOT the duty of the Federal Government to run secondary schools


That is constitutionally the duty of state governments

After the civil war unity schools were brought in to foster unity

All of them have the same motto Pro Uunitate

Kings College and Queens college are a bit of an exception because they have a different history

To the extent that the schools were set up FOR UNITY they were ALWAYS going to be a QUOTA system school

They ARE NOT centres of excellence for the best and brightest of Nigeria
Their mission PURPOSE is to create a situation where young children from diverse backgrounds can meet to form relationships that enhance national unity


e.g if the United Nations decides to set up such a school for the same reason and says 2 people from every country in the World

What would that look like?? Would Nigeria and Togo have the same cut off point? If such an examination was used?


The truth is at the beginning. The investment in the schools was higher and the standards better than what state governments were able to provide.

So the demand for slots in the school was very high.

The fact remains it is a quota system school and it is even possible to select people by a lottery

So when Iboes come out to shout they are being mischievous and GREEDY

If you don't want them the Federal Government would have no choice but to return the money to the Federation account because it is not a federal government responsibility to operate secondary schools

We could have a World Cup based on FIFA rankings. Just bring the top rated 36 countries and let them compete . We could do the same with the Olympic games. but the events are also an opportunity to promote international and intercontinental interaction

So let us stop these Ibo lies about being victims of an unfair selection process for the schools . If you did not know before now you know why the schools were created and the constitutional basis.

Why don't we have so called CUT OFF marks at primary school or you imagine it is not possible to design a test for such purpose?

Unitary schools were created by the FG under Gowon, there's a reason they were created, let them keep on serving there purpose. There are thousands of state government schools in the south east, there are thousands of private secondary schools in the south east, I wander why all this unnecessary tears over a handful of unitary schools located across the federation.

And here is the problem with nigeria. All cut off marks should be the for all federal schools in nigeria. If it's 2 in yobe it should also be 2 in Anambra and ogun, Not having 2 for yobe, 120 for Ogun then 190 for Anambra in the same exam, the same questions to qualfy for the same university. Abegii

My wife was offered an admission last year October and her resumption was scheduled to be September, January and May but she was pregnant then with our first son which she had late last year and now we are thinking of continuing with the process.

I’m worried if the application could still be on and what’s her chances of approval since I believe she now has strong ties with her country back home(family and business) which in my little opinion should make her visa application accepted….

I would appreciate genuine contributions as we are pulling in big resources to make this work.

Netflix should just released everything at once, I don't see wtf dem making it longer.

1) This season, there is no emotional attachment or a bond to any cast and the games is not as hard as S1, too easy, predictable and no fun.

2) As a old player, you should be smart cus you knew cameras are everywhere and your openly giving out information about the game and you think them won't change it?

3) One of the reason why we love S1 is that each game has something meaningful or something you can learn from about human when it's comes between life and death like Betrayal, Dishonesty, Disloyalty and lies just to make it to another round is missing in this season
