I figured this out in season 2 and I didn't have any high expectations for season 3.

The plot of the show relies heavily on the stupidity of the characters. It's not bad writing per se, it's just that the show was intended to be that way.

Apart from the vip's acting, squid game 3 was a blast. Started watching last night and didn't stop until it finished. 9/10 for me.
