Politics › Re: The Rise And Fall Of Buhari by izombie(m): 7:45pm On Jul 27, 2018
This article is just spot on. Whether it's from the economist or not does not matter. What matters is that everything in that article is the truth. Some things baffle me, the blame game is one. Blaming everybody and everything but buhari. Choosing to ignore buhari's failure. Blindly defending buhari on every turn. There is no fight against corruption, what we have is fight against opposition. Sometimes i think buhari used juju on some of nigerians because the way some nigerians reason, excuse, defend buhari's actions or inactions is pathetic.

They know.

They are not even thinking about what they know is impossible

So let us move on
thank you. The average igbo man does not spend his day thinking about when an igbo man will be president. Buhari is president now please tell me how that has improved the lives of ordinary hausa fulani man/woman. Keep your presidency. Igbos have the best middle class in africa at the moment without the presidency. Make una keep eating the left overs of the hausa fulani. You guys support buhari so that in 2023 the fulani will allow you to run for presidency. Igbos have made it clear what we and thats our own country.

The OP might just be a hausa man. I dont like the way igbos attack yorubas at the slightest opportunity. angry angry angry angry

Igbos need to have rethink on their hatred for Yorubas. Its getting too much. angry angry angry angry

yes there is corruption in both parties but apc has brought total hardship on nigerians. Now you can't even say the truth without dss visiting you the next day. Now we are forced to do things we don't want to do and forced to not do things we want to do.

I support anything that will remove the disaster in aso rock at the moment but again at the back of my mind something keeps hoping that buhari wins in 2019 because then, with nothing to lose he will finally release his full venom on yoruba moslems.

Kanu is nothing but a nuisance, a bigot, an anti social and disruptive element with zero core value or the interest of the ibo people at heart.

There's nothing wrong with agitation or fighting for your freedom, but fighting for your freedom doesn't give you the right and liberty to insult and abuse, to spew bigotry and hate speech all over the place or promote and advocate harm and violence against Nigerians or issue terrorists threats against innocent Nigerians.

Kanu did was a bad and, destructive and agitation spokesman for the ibo people and he did more damage than good because he alienated every sympathetic voice in Nigeria.

Freedom and independence starts with your elected leaders from your states all the way to Abuja getting on the same page, lobbying, reaching out and drumming up support from every corner of Nigeria and abroad and eventually tabling your desire for INDEPENDENCE via a referendum. This is how sane and serious people do things, not sending a lunatic and a freeking terrorist out there to insult, spew trash, peddle hate speech and issue terrorist threats against innocent people.

If I ruled the world, I'll give you your biafra this very second and get you off my neck.
so you want to hope on people who share in the national cake to come fight for you? They are primarily the reason why naija is the way it is now. You talk about referendum but the hausa fulani made sure that there is nothing like that in the constitution.
You can say what you want about kanu but the fact remains that kanu shook the country up. He even made the hausa fulani to consider restructuring. Now that he's not here please tell me the last time you heard about restructuring..

This is just ignorance, the North can not win any war against the SW and to say the region blessed with nearly all the riches, Lagos/crown jewel and the largest investment and industrial base in West Africa is a junior partner sounds more like a reflection of your own ignorance about your own country.

You people need to worry more about your worthless, unproductive and irrelevant villages
you are unintentionally agreeing with me. Since lagos and sw are all that you mentioned above, what the heck are you still doing in nigeria?

Dude stop this nonsense of feeling entitled to people liking you all over this world. Your perception of the world is very wrong and flawed. I've not had anyone looked at me or disregarded me for being a Nigerian outside this country. People are always willing to learn more when I tell them I'm a Nigerian. The way you carry yourself and see things is why people disre6 you or maybe just you feeling entitled or being inferior to yourself. Even the Chinese don't like the Japanese that much. Get out of your black as.s and embrace the world. No one owes you a thing, likeness or respect, unless you earn it!
its not about how people treat you but about what countries require from you as a nigerian passport holder. For example, if you are applying for a work permit in maybe america with a nigerian passport, you have a stricter requirement than someone from ghana who is also applying for the work permit.

As the guy got there na so he brought out norwegian passport. Olboy, i must confess, i was envious of that guy. Scandinavian passports are the bomb.

Nice write up,you have every right to use your brains, and that's more reason why the Africa continent is still backward.

Please can somebody tell me the population of wales,Scotland, and Ireland, and these places are called nations, just imagine the size and population of Iceland, still they are recognized in the league of nations.

But the problem with the black man is that he allows outsiders do the thinking for them, and most importantly the greed and wickedness of the Africa leaders.

The yoruba nation is about 40 million people, but they are still regarded as a tribe, whoes fault is that?
Simple, the fault of less than 5%of their greedy and self centered leader, who only think of themselves alone,

The same thing happened with Germany when the east and weat had issues, they agreed to go their separate ways and the Berlin wall was built
But after so many years and both sides realizes their potentials and accept to be one again the walls were brought down.

Though I'm not igbo, but I so much support their believe and aspirations, its not to create fear and panic but to create a healthy rivalry to infrastructure and economical growth,to the west Africa region,

I so much believe that all regions(country) would tap inward to access and grow either slowly or fastly.
But because of what the leaders are enjoying in their demonic and slave and master government, none would support this ideas.

Africa is on a long slumber and even it people.
you make so much sense. An average nigerian will support something just because someone at the top supports that same thing. They forget that the so called leader is only doing whats best for him. Example, if someone like tinubu were to come out and declare interest in oduduwa republic, you'd then see most yorubas echoing the same thing. Black man's mentality is very bad.

There is nothing Yoruba will lose if Nigeria split but we don't need that because one region depends on others but through real federalism everything will be taking care of. The example is United Kingdom. In UK, England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland stand on their own which everyone is governing herself. Look at this world cup, other three countries did not qualified apart of England and UK did not put the bording on other countries because nothing concerned them. I think regionalism is the best for this country because we will still be useful to each other in future and with that Africa will also benefit from it.
i hear you. But the hausa fulani can never agree to regionalism. They can't refuse everything they don't want. So how do we change that?

This is purely my own thinking. I believe that the yorubas will benefit the most if nigeria were to split. With lagos alone any country can stand. You already have industries/companies in the south west, you have seaport and international airport. You have international companies based in the south west and you have lagos. Oduduwa republic can become the most powerful in africa if managed well. I still don't understand why the yorubas still want to remain in nigeria with nigeria the way it is. What do the yorubas stand to lose if nigeria splits? Nigeria isn't working and will never work as it is. As an igbo man, when i look at what will happen if nigeria splits i see that the yorubas are already placed for such an occurence. So why aren't they pushing for that?? Is there something i am missing here?
NB. This is just my personal opinion.. No insults intended. If you have a different view to mine please share without insults.

There is something you people do not understand. Apc might win elections in igbo land, be it governorship, senate or house of reps but buhari can never win a free and fair election in the east. If buhari joins Apga and stands for election in anambra he will lose woefully. Its not about apc or pdp but about buhari the person. Apc won the governorship in imo in 2015 but lost the presidential election in imo woefully. Igbos do not have problem with apc but we have problem with buhari. Simple.
