when a female child is getting married their is what we call idu uno... the father and some of the male child will buy alot of things that might include landed property.,car,.house even electric gadgets and many cooking utensils and give to the female child... and physical cash as the capacity of the father is.. it's not given to a male child.. and that's her own inheritance from the father... and the female child is always welcome any time any day in her father's house....I believe your grandpa will explain better
