Has anyone here ever hosted or attended a foam party for a children's birthday celebration? I'd love to hear about your experiences, any tips or advice you may have, and whether it's a safe and enjoyable option for kids. |

TV/Movies › Re: Help - My Projector Turns Off When Flipped Upside-down by jackaustin631(op): 6:39am On Sep 13, 2023 |
jackaustin631: I have a Mitsubishi XD300U and it has worked well for me for years. Recently while my kids were playing the Xbox 360 it turned off without any warnings. We turned it back on and the lamp came on and then the projector shut off again in about 30 seconds. Tried different power cords, etc. Never would stay on longer than ~30 seconds.
I started trouble-shooting and eventually took my projector off the ceiling mount and brought it to my office to troubleshoot while on the phone with Mitsubishi's tech support. Well, in my office the projector worked fine.
I take it back up to my Theater and ceiling mount it again and boom, it turns off in 30 seconds again. I tried different power cables, different video cables and eventually something clicked in my brain and I tried running the projector while holding it upright. Worked fine again. As soon as I tipped it a bit past 90 degrees, it turned off again.
So the projector works when upright, but turns off when upside-down.
Here's my question, Mitsubishi says replacing the lamp will fix my problem, but that sounds really fishy to me. And since I don't know of any company that would accept a returned lamp (if that didn't fix my problem) I am really hesitant to spend $400 on a replacement lamp. My current lamp isn't terribly old and I have received no lamp warnings yet.
Does anyone have experience with this type of issue? Does this sound like a reasonable fix? why does my projector keep turning off
The tech support guy said he had a document from the parts department saying replacing the bulb fixes the problem, but he wouldn't email me a copy of the report. Since when does the parts department solve technical issues? This sounds like an excuse to sell more lamps.
To me this sounds like something is loose inside the projector. Maybe some sort of a sensor wire. When the projector's controller realizes it isn't getting a signal from whatever sensor is loose (a fan sensor or something?) it shuts off the projector to protect itself. Any advice for me on this issue? Thanks in advance. |

ChisomGloria: Whatsapp has been blocking my numbers since 3 days ago and each time I request for review they will unblock. So today I decided to register the number I have never use before on Whatsapp and within 20 munites Whatsapp blocked it. Here is they're feedback. So Whatsapp system is not safe? If you've been experiencing repeated blocks, there could be various reasons for this: Mistaken Identity: Sometimes, legitimate users might be mistakenly flagged due to unusual patterns in their activity. In such cases, the review process typically resolves the issue. or get help from here https://simulatorapk.com/Multiple Devices: Using WhatsApp on multiple devices simultaneously or frequently switching between devices can trigger security measures. Suspicious Activity: If your account is involved in spamming, sending unsolicited messages, or violating WhatsApp's terms of service, it can lead to temporary blocks. IP Address: WhatsApp may also consider the IP address you're using, especially if it's associated with suspicious activity. To address this issue: Ensure that you're using a genuine version of WhatsApp from official sources like the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. Avoid using unofficial or modified versions of the app. Contact WhatsApp support through the app or their official website to explain your situation. They can review your account and help resolve the issue. Make sure your device and the app are up to date. Outdated software can sometimes trigger security concerns. Avoid using multiple devices with the same number simultaneously unless it's necessary. Be cautious about the content and frequency of your messages to avoid being flagged as spam. It's important to note that WhatsApp's security measures are in place to protect users, and while temporary blocks can be inconvenient, they are part of the system's effort to maintain a secure environment for everyone. If you believe you are facing unjustified blocks, reaching out to WhatsApp support is the best way to resolve the issue and ensure the safety of your account. |

Travel › Re: Let's Talk About Qatar by jackaustin631: 3:42am On Sep 10, 2023 |
Zhunnurayn: It boils down to two issues; you must have a qatar based employee or organization who had already offered you employment before you can apply for the work visa,(even if you are in medical field, you must be offered employment first). secondly, the maximum time permit 2-5 years, during this time you may secure residence visa there with backing of your employer and can be lucky to get. The work visas are granted to persons who want to work in Qatar. Like the student visa, the applicants for the work visa must already have secured a job in the country before being eligible to apply.
Applicant’s employer would need to apply for a NOC Certificate moi qatar visa check. Without this certificate, entry into Qatar would be disallowed.
Applicants, on getting into the country must apply for a residence visa. On arrival, using a single-entry visa, the applicant needs to apply for a residency visa and according to the employer’s specification. is there anyone here have tried to apply online application from Qatar? Its been a month already, but I did not get update after I did my biometrics. |

Nairaland General › Re: 2 Teensy 3.1 Boards Died While Driving L298N Controller Board by jackaustin631(op): 8:59pm On Sep 08, 2023 |
jackaustin631: I built a circuit to drive a small 3 phase using a teensy 3.1 and a L298N motor controller board. I programmed the board to turn on the phases 1 at a time in sequential order (there are 3 wires coming from the motor). Also programmed the led to change state every time the next phase came on. I have a pot to control the speed.
All the connections to the teensy are. Ground from the controller board. 5 Volts from the controller board to the Vin pin. 500 ohm pot hooked between the 3.3V pin and ground, with the center pin going to A0. Output pins 0, 1, & 2 going to the inputs of the L298N board. Usb is disconnected when being powered from the motor controller board.
When I power it up, the led flashes, the motor starts turning and I can control the speed with the pot. I let the motor run for a minute or 2, then it just coasted to a stop and the led on the teensy was off. I touched the teensy and the micro was hot. I turned everything off and removed the teensy from the breadboard and plugged it into the usb and it had no life and started getting hot. I checked the voltage on the 3.3 pin and it was about 1 volt. I checked the voltage on the 5v output on the controller (the one I'm powering the teensy with) and it read 5.02V. I also checked the voltage on the input pins (to make sure something on the board hadn't gone bad) and they all read around 0V.
I thought maybe something had just gone bad on the teensy, so I grabbed another one, programmed it and put it in the circuit. I was able to power up the motor again and it ran for a minute or 2, then the same thing happened again. This board also has no life and gets hot when plugged into the usb.
I have a couple of questions. 1st- do you have a warranty/repair service? 2nd- anybody have any clue as to what could be happening with the l298n motor driver? I want to do this project, but I don't want any more boards to die. The pot is 500 ohms, so it should only be drawing about 7mA. According to the datasheet, it only needs 2.3 volts on the input to turn on and has a maximum of 100uA going into the inputs (typical 30uA). The inputs also don't need any type of protection (they are isolated from the load voltage). Any help/ideas appreciated. |

It is actually allowed to file applications prepared with PatXML, which are an application-body.xml file with attached image files, I presume. Is the format docx intented to replace the ability to file application-body.xml files? If not, is it possible to file xml files edited with any kind of tool https://file-types.com/docs/docx, as long as the file is conform to application-body DTD and PDF can be generated with XSL stylesheet? In either case, which document is the reference before the EPO? thanks in advance for any help |

I had the same problem. Just in case you didn't find it, there might be an older version of the driver in /Library/Java/Extensions - not sure where it came from. Maybe from CocoaMySQL?
Deleting that older version and using 3.1 fixed it for me.
