You people getting paid well how many heads una get huh?? I will put this car for sale

Bleep tinubu
If you believe those deceivers and the figures they are posting here are real. Then I don't know what to tell you..

I also did a research today... Normal 1hr trip on e-hailling app in Benin with bolt is almost 6500 naira.. but I went to a cab stand and ask for the same destination they told me to pay 14,000 Naira. Can you see the difference.huh It's even better to have few ride than stressing your car for peanuts and in the end of the day , you will not be able to make anything reasonable to take home... All I am soliciting for is an adjustment in price on bolt, Uber and indrive... So that majority of drivers we benefits a lot from partnership with them

Took my first trip on indrive today, didn't pay attention to the Map instructions when going to pick up the rider and while dropping off ... burnt fuel like kilode.... The rider was nice but my fuel just dey burn, price on indrive can be ridiculous. Still a novice bit I don't know if I have the willpower to continue yet.... Fuel of 20k no reach anywhere for Meter and it's burning fast. The money I got used it for fuel back ....no gain yet o , trial and error moment ,moment of Truth kiss cry cry

Okay you say one shouldn't work hard abi? grin that they should work SMART cheesy oya, can you give us an example of how you want ehailing drivers to work 'smart' ? Just one good example would do wink

And you say you have other things you do that give you cash flow, i'm sure it's not a 9-5 job because here you are, early on a workday searching for trips to wherever instead of heading to an 'office' smiley so pray tell, what is this other cash flow you maintain that gives you the freedom to drive on very early workday mornings and also have spare time to come here convulsing on our mentions? 🤔

I'm really curious . . .
So I should tell you about my life because of what? Are we related or are you among my close friendshuh

If you can't find ways to better your wretched life by ur self or ask people ahead of you in a polite friendly ways, then continue driving all the days of your life.. for you information I have my own business, got the fund from ( 9-5 job) I only drive weekends when I feel like and it's not compulsory..

Now people like una dey do fastest finger to pick ridiculous ride on indrive BECUs you have no other option.. angry tongue

Why are you calling me an ancient man? How did you find out I am ancient? 🤔 after if I call you a certain troll now the other troll will immediately jump out to defend 'yourselves' grin

Anyway, depending on your tenacity . . . You might still be complaining like you are currently doing till circa July 2027. Nothing will change for you except for the worse and ehailing will still be a business by then.

So why not give up now and save yourself the headaches down the road? Why do you want us here to give up along with you? Was anyone here connected to your placenta at birth? Why must you choose to drown with a crowd instead of all alone?

Mschew, and you say I'm the selfish one here right? undecided
From your write up now people like you dey always say person need to work hard every day before e fit make am for life..

And you forgot that you only need to work smart to make it in life .

If you think my life depend on only driving for Uber/bolt unlike you.. then you must be foolish.. .. That's why I called you an Ancient man. change your circle it will do you good

I just dey look you dey laugh grin keep playing you hear
Where did you notice in my posts I ask any Uber/bolt driver to park their cars.. you too dull honestly, if you can't sense the fight for the betterment of some bolt/Uber drivers who cant make any reasonable daily gains in all my posts because of the ridiculous fares in the app,

Then you lack empathy. And you will remain caged since you have finally decided to become slave forever, who only feed on peanut ...

I will ignore you, you just dey find ways to gain my attention..

See the ridiculous price this morning on bolt. Even Uber price is not too reasonable like that.. and most of the old cargos here that always ambush others from complaining are heartless and self centred..

And those of you saying if it's not favoring you any more why can't you quit.. are very stupid for saying that.. make una dey use ana brain sometimes

This is why Nigeria as a country can't be united

My brother looking for brain box, God will help you. He's your strength!

With all these ridiculous prices and drivers are rushing them. The same prices when fuel was 585.

I just dey watch sha!

Bn out here since morning. I have not worked. Why? Can't pick these prices with fuel at 1100 and with Camry muscle 09/10. Nah I can't. Bolt isn't even trying too.

It is well.

The kind of trip I've been seeing since morning. Almost an hour for 7k and drivers are rushing it 👇

I started this important discussion And I am delighted a lot of people are contributing to it venting out their frustration. Only a perpetual uneducated fellow who lack exposure will compare e-halling job to 9-5 job.. it's obvious it's lack of well paid job opportunities that made alot of graduates to venture into e-hailling job

If paradventure you are luckily making money from Uber/bolt drive, doesn't give you the temerity to slam others down from complaining

A lot of you here are hypocritical deceivers.. (eg pearls and xghost) you guys are trying to encourage newbies to continue driving every day and not to take bolt/Uber as side hustle.

you know fully well because of economy crisis currently in Nigeria this e-hailling job is not favourable any more.. where as both of you don't drive everyday from the unrealistic figures you guys posted recently.

Deceivers!!!!

My greetings to everyone, please I have a serious question concerning the acceptance rate, it really low and I'm scared of the repercussion, hope the account won't be suspended or won't be able to go online if it reach certain number
I can sense the fear you are going through in ur write up.. even if they decide to suspend your account due to low acceptance rate ( I don't think if it's possible)

I will advice you not to fully depend on bolt/Uber drive, it's not as profitable as you think due to economy crisis currently. Take it as side hustle for now just to survive

The managements of bolt/uber are doing their possible best not to dissipate out of business, that's why they mostly care about passengers (on top high cost of fuel dem still dey give passengers 20 percent bonus for each ride)

Lastly try and learn a profitable skill you can search it online. It will favour you more..

If your car eventually break down due to deterioration and lack of constant maintenance, bros hungry go beat you oo and you go cry tire.. no body go borrow you money for here..

And they think all bolt and Uber drivers can make 150k net weekly..

Dem dey Lagos dey make noise. Make dem go another state go try make that 150k weekly from bolt or uber. If their car nor catch fire

I don't think any of them can boldly beat their chest that they can make 150k every week from bolt or Uber consistently

But if 12k commission is taken from the 50k, u will be left with 13k and not 25k or am I missing something
The bonus is 6k for 9 trips I guess 🤔
Leave that guy make e dey deceived himself..

now vip Uber/bolt driver e nor dey pay for commission...

Heheheheheheheh

I think that guy failed mathematics in WEAC!!! Dullard .

E-hailling business is dieing gradually. No matter how hard you hustle u can never make profit as before. Stop giving new drivers hope with that figures you achieved daily... Ur strategies might not work for other drivers in lagos.. (me and you know say u get another means when u take dey survive)!!!!

You can never achieved that figures in Edo state or even other states.. because of difference in bolt/uber fares..

imagine 40-45mins bolt drive for 6200 naira. After removing bolt commission and fuel money... How much profit will u gain from thishuh?

When you car calls for major maintenance after deterioration without having any other side hustles to foot the bills. You go cry tire!!!!!

XGhost:
I can only speak to my experience driving on Uber alone and driving in LAGOS.

My goal daily is 25k net.
I start early between 5.30am and 6am
I live on the island so I maximize the morning office runs. If I'm lucky I get surge trips but I really don't chase those.
My goal is turnover to make profit so I don't do long trips. Also because I chase bonuses I mix my trips.
I run lekki VI back and forth repeatedly. Doing this also reduces down time and mental fatigue which I think is part of what a lot of drivers complaining here experience. By midday when requests have reduced I can now start doing long trips. By this time traffic to and from the mainland would have nearly disappeared too so it pays me.
By 12, I'd have done between 25 and 35k depending on how hot the hand is. Bear in mind my gross target is 50k (fuel 20, feeding and misc. 5k, take home 25k)
With fuel at 1k however this will have to change but I've only driven a few days since the latest increase so I really can't say for now.
Bonuses also work for me and I try not to miss them. I typically get 80k to 120k in bonuses weekly. I use it to augment any shortfalls.
As long as there are riders and requests I think it'll pay. The margins may have shrunk but it'll even out in the end in my opinion.
I will address this later . I am not surprised!!!!! interesting..

I can't continue

I have been buying fuel 20k and yet can't even have gain of 1 naira to buy pure water.
How can I make it when I keep receiving 1400, 2000 ride.
The highest ride is 3k..you will use about 2 to 3 liters of fuel for a journey of 12km and at the end of the ride uber will show 2500.
God help me.
I really pity married people .
Father please show me mercy.

Father open way for me.
Father the time has come
My candid advice for you.. this is what I have been venting out since one month lately . With no reasonable response only insults from heartless and I don't care people here.. Uber fares is even better compared to bolt..

Don't fully depend on bolt and Uber as your major source of income, because you go cry tire.. when ur car calls for major maintenance after deterioration , no body is going to lend you money since u ain't profiting from it..

Take bolt and Uber drive as partime job when you finally get a well paid job or better still learn a profitable skill.

Lol, to be honest I sympathize with u...There are many factors that must be ticked b4 prices can be increase...You are only concentrating on just one factor, that is the major determinant of our operation, FUEL!
RIDER are the most important factor in this biz, if there are no passenger, every one of us, you and I, the coy, the app, everyone is just wasting his time..
Every other factor can, perhaps be substituted..Yes, driver can be substituted! But you see rider, everyone needs them.
Before u increase price, you must consider the people that will PURCHASE/BUY that products or services..Once it's beyond their reach, then there is problem..I am not in Benin, you know d demographics better than I do. Can Edolite afford 6k for a 20 mins ride consistently? Be honest with us.
Why I want a better package for you all over there, the app guys also need to balance things at d other end ..But ehailing shouldn't be too cheap that driver won't make any profit at all, as you've posited here, if it's true o.
Like PBAT reform, I'll always tell people in my circle that there is no reform that should make ur people go to bed hungry! That is what FG is doing now.
Why do you think passengers in Edo state can't afford 6000 naira for 20mins ridehuh Bolt ride shouldn't be for every body. Those that can afford the price will surely patronize bolt. Imagine Buying fuel for 1250 naira per ltr.. then accepting 20mins ride for 3200 minus bolt commission. How do you expect drivers in Benin to gain from this??
