Someone suggested Benin bolt drivers should send multiple mails to bolt, to inform them about the increased of fuel , so that they we be able to adjust the price on the app. that's a nice option sha. But the increase in fuel price is not a current news.

Someone also replied that it's becus of Lagos state purchasing power. Meaning other states bolt passengers ain't capable of paying 6000 naira for 20-25mins bolt fare. Can you imagine, why the stereotype attitude

I don't agree with you . I took about 35 trips as a rider on bolt in Abj last month and I was paying average of 6k for 20-25 mins trips ..Not bad if you ask me...Lagos is only SLIGHTLY better.. OGUDU to Vi on weekend is about 20-25 mins and you will only get average of 6k, most times 5k self on INDRIVE ....Funny thing is, none of them switched on AC..You can't try that with Lagos rider

No one is talking about bolt 20 percent bonus given to passengers and also collecting their commission from the same amount to be paid to drivers. Fuel is now 1250 naira per ltr. Idiot uncivilized people (Their Commander PEARLS) assailing my post with fake unrealistic stories forged to deceived the gullible new drivers. I have come to realized that the preponderance of people here, in another word majority, are bolt agents claiming they are bolt drivers.. bolt only care about passengers not drivers!!

Note: Newbies Before your car deteriorate try and look for other side hustles, don't fully depend on the peanuts you are receiving from bolt..

Let me share you just little of my personal life experience. I used to have a lucrative business years ago (I won't mention the name of the business) that particular business sponsored me throughout university, was paying my rent and supporting family members for years.

After University, I closed down the business and decided to take up 9am - 6pm job. The job was taking care of bills and all. But I have to wake up 4am everyday and by 5am, I'm already on the road to Awoyaya that's where my office is.

I stay on the mainland (Alagbado) precisely. I did this work for about 8yrs. I had to resign to venture into Ehailing. Now, I have been doing Ehailing for over a year. I won't say is the best after sliced bread. But, I can manage my time and how much I make weekly.

So basically, we all can't be in an office or shop. Ehailing is service rendering in the transportation sector and is a big business.

Why is it that only majority of people in Lagos state driving for bolt always assail my post
I will not argue with you yet. Do you know what?? Leave that your comfort zone. Relocate to Edo state, Benin city and continue driving for bolt constantly without thinking for other alternative to survive. only then you will understand what I have been dishing out lately... Finding a job isn't as easy as it seems, trust me. I don't know his qualifications or age group, but I doubt he'll find the level of income and freedom he's looking for in a typical 9-to-5 job.

I recommend he either find a way to succeed in the e-hailing business he is used to or explore other ventures. Transitioning from running a business to job hunting can be challenging.

Got a trip from that yaba train station yesterday morning to lekki phase 1. Bolt showed 11k. They gave rider bonus of 1600. I checked on indrive and saw 6600.....which will still be reduced!

My last trip on bolt yesterday, 20 mins from Anthony village to kilo 7800, 800 bonus. The guy sef shock. It was 3200 on indrive

Do you think bolt charges the same amount equivalent to other states in Nigeria?? I have done some analysis and if you think getting 1hours trip in Lagos for 10,000 naira for example, is the same thing in Edo state Benin city. Then you don't have to conclude that 20k fuel can get you 48k net..

Is that you If you think drivers still make money as before and they are happy with the ridiculous fare prices along with riders bonus deducted after successful ride, God will judge you!!.
