I remember 2024 when I came here because of my visit visa, I got it and proceeded to get my fiance visa. I came to the uk and got married. I just got my uk spouse visa for 5 years. I got 5 years because my hubby is in the military. To cashmadam, Giselle and the others, thank you very much. The advice you gave here helped me. Thank you all. |
onile1975:1. 50k as my monthly expenditure. 2. 2.4 million annually. 3. I don't have any dependants. I used my mum, siblings and my business as home ties. Like I said, I didn't submit my bank statements. |
onile1975:1. Yes. 2. Last year. |
onile1975:1. Purpose of visit was to spend time with my boyfriend, meet his family and friends because he has been to Nigeria to visit mine and he wanted me to meet his. I just said I planned to visit Manchester, Newcastle because his family lives there. I didn't write much on what I planned to do. 2. Yes, I added his passport data page. |
onile1975:1. Yes, my boyfriend sponsored my whole trip. 2. The part where I was asked "how much are they paying towards the trip", I put in £2000. The part I was asked "how much are you personally paying towards the trip, I put in £1. You get the difference now? |
onile1975:1. I travelled by air. 2. I said I was personally spending £1. |
onile1975:1. Port Harcourt Centre 2. My boyfriend's monthly salary was enough to sponsor me, though he didn't have any savings but his payslips showed he had enough to fully sponsor me. 3. I am self employed. 4. I have been to Ghana( only travel experience I have) |
onile1975:I got my visa on the 14th of June and I didn't submit my bank statements, just that of my boyfriend and his payslips. |
stKorea:I did not upload mine and my visa was granted. |
Biancalatte:The Entry Clearance officer, British Deputy High Commission, Port Harcourt, Nigeria, 230 Olu Obasanjo Road Port Harcourt, Rivers State - Nigeria. |
dende3:The only family ties I had was my family (my mum and siblings) and my very small business(very small oo). My CAC was even inactive. My boyfriend wanted me to stay for 2 months but I can't count the number of times people said applying for a month or more won't work, but we still did and got the visa. I have learnt that every application is different. Don't be afraid to try because if I was, I wouldn't have gotten my visa. |
Funkycares:The only travel experience I have is the Ghana vacation we had together. There was lot of outgoings. Truthfully, my boyfriend's account didn't have any savings. But the payslips showed he earned enough to sponsor the trip. |
Thank you at Cashmadam and Giselleb237. Your advice helped a lot. God bless you immensely. |

Thegamingorca:[quote author=Thegamingorca post=129093342]Omoh ppls reasons to request for visitor visa differ even if you have sponsor it will be your own circumstances they will want to see being explained. Three months is too long to be a burden on a sponsor anywhere in the world. Put two weeks and show the workings of what will carry you back to Nigeria after two weeks. After getting the visa you can decide to spend 5 months straight no one car[quote author=Thegamingorca post=129093342]Omoh ppls reasons to request for visitor visa differ even if you have sponsor it will be your own circumstances they will want to see being explained. [quote author=MamaEEE post=127239935]Dont you think you are a bit too hard on him or her with the manner at wish you are answering the questions... my first ever trip to the uk was fully sponsored without even submitting my account statement. And I got the visa... But @poster every man with him head ooo. Also a friends mum just got 2years fully sponsored also 5days ago, notthing was in her account. My best bet, apply with what you have but reduce that 1month to 2weeks...Even if u get a refuser u try again and tarkle the lope holes Its not the end of life. Non of us here work for the home office so make we dey take am easy with acting like one... Well said. Everybody's luck is different because no matter what we all say here, a little bit of luck is needed for visa application. |
Thegamingorca:from her write up, her friend is sponsoring the whole trip. |
