Sangoamadioha1:
When Buhari closed boarder to rice importation to encourage local production of rice with financial support by central bank, Nigerians complained and resisted even the farmers themselves sabotaged the program.
The solution to Nigeria's problems lies in the hands of Nigerians. When we are ready we will sit up.
Farmers, BOA staffs as well as the companies who took the contract all sabotaged it, I saw a woman who can barely without assistance receiving such loans and they gave it to her.
The quantity of embezzled by Nigerians from agricultural program under Buhari is alarming but since it's not convenient for the bIamè game, we all prefer to sweep it under the carpet.
Those who were sincere in that program were frûstràted.

The whole world is slowing. A lot of over leveraged businesses are folding up.

The US interests rate is at an all time high about 8%. The UK interests rate is also high, So is Australia, Japan etc

Very few business can borrow money and guarantee and interest greater than 8% to pay back.

So a lot of multinationals are cutting back, its time for Nigeria to look inwards, cheaper food, cheaper housing.

Government should look for people who are agriculturally minded in crops and animal husbandry, send them to brazil and China on scholarship(3-6 months), Let them learn how these people mass produce crops and animals. Then come back to Nigeria and assist them to set up huge Farms and animal produce.

We have over 30 accredited colleges of agriculture in Nigeria, graduating students every year. Food security should not be a problem.
Nobody needs to be sent to Brazil or China, that's waste of resources, empower and send them to the farm.
Those 2-3 months can produce alot.
We alot of locals producing alot without alot.
Give them alot to produce more.

We have been preaching this for ages now, but the average Nigerian will tell you that for suggesting that, it means you don't know business because you can't do business in Nigeria, but you can do lots of manufacturing in Nigeria.
In terms of agriculture, we should be 100% self reliant, what I advise is governments, both FG and SG should invest heavily in this sector including private individuals.
The number of successful industries in country determines it's economic strength, successful industries will create employment for the people, solve the problem of demand and supply and generate money for the founder but the average Nigerian wants to fold his arms and then a successful country will fall from the blues sky.

But u can share same country with people who cûrsèd a governor for 8 years but name him messiah simply because they want thèîr trîbè in power?

Yorubas always vote Yoruba agenda. There's never been a time you see the results coming out of the west to be majority about competence. It's always an agenda type of voting.

It's the truth. Couple of Yorubas had won election in the east, no Igbo person has ever won the west. Guess who's voting along tribal lines
Go to 2019 election results collation thread, the only region that voted neutrally happened to be SW, votes were well splitted, go to that same and u will see lgb0s praising Yorubas for being sophisticated because they don't do "herd voting", today, because a Yoruba man won election, Yorubas are bàd?

Politics › Re: This Is Why many Hausas And Yorubas Will Always Vote Wrongly. by JagabanB: 9:38am On Feb 21, 2024
Kepukepu:
It does make sense that people who have been accustomed to a certain type of system might be more likely to support leaders who reflect those values, even if they are not good for them. There's a concept called "path dependence" that refers to how the choices we make in the present are shaped by the choices we made in the past. So, in a country that has recently transitioned from monarchy to democracy, it's possible that the effects of that historical system are still present in the culture and may influence people's political decisions.

Yorubas and Hausa had organized monarchical systems where they paid homage to a single strong leader called Oba or Emir, this influences their political choices as well. They always see a reason to depend on someone who takes the position of what the Obas and Emirs were in this current dispensation, irrespective of whether the person is capable or not. They always want to be led and to have someone they can call their leader. So it does not matter if the person is competent, they will follow him. It's in tune with their culture
This mentality is more pronounced with the hausas than with the Yorubas because the Yorubas re more liberal and has accepted western education more, however this cultural trait is still there in both tribes.

So Yorubas and Hausas are more likely to obey a leader who can enforce himself and create the image of protecting their cultural heritage than someone from the east or southsouth. It's in their culture to worship humans like demigods.
It's the way many Yorubas perceive Tinubu, Awolowo and Abiola and how most northerners perceive Buhari.

It's hard for someone to attain the status of a demigod in the east even Ojukwu who led the Biafran war did not win any state during elections in the east. Peter Obi is getting popular because of his competence and how he sold himself (most Tinubu supporters will argue this).
lgb0s love faIIacy alot, SE Iittered with sh*tty leaders is talking about how others "... always vote wrongly"?

grin grin Having a Secured State is a major end result of providing good social welfare which is the primary product of good governance.

One is taking Anambra State academic sector to what they are enjoying now,Obi left Anambra academic sector in 1st position, till today Anambra can not be missing in the top 5 most Educated States in Nigeria.

Another one is saving money for Anambra, leaving a debt free State,A good and hardworking business man tries to avoid owning igbese within a good plan to pay back.

https://www.legit.ng/nigeria/1498135-18-major-achievements-peter-obi-melt-hearts/
A debt free state with no reliable infrastructure, no clean water, no affordable health care services, no good fire service, no reliable ambulance services.
Number education that can't make the cut as the best in Africa yet Obi is hailed as the messiah?
A competent leader provides education for all by making it cheap, affordable and reliable, he made his own expensive and said "education is not for the poor".
See how safe Anambra was under Obi?
The case of dèàd bodîes in Rivers is not here yet.

You liar for no reason.
People know that under Obi,Abambra had zero bank robbery for five years and the case of armed robbery was not rampant as Peter Obi gave them robbers and criminals a run for their madness.

IGB Baba rated Anambra safest State in Nija back to back under Obi,Obi achieved this even with the presence of a secessionist movement.

Not an angel, but a serious minded person,if He picks a job to do he will take it seriously and do it to His best,He told Fidelity to withhold the two cars He was supposed to receive annually that He doesn't need more cars, all He wants is to come to the office and do His job.
U systematically ignored all what I listed because as usual, the messiah faiIed woefuIIy in delivering good governance so the next thing is to sing praises of what he told fidelity bank that u were not there to confirm.
I didn't mention being in a bank, the year I had to avoid high way robbers was January 2012 when GEJ first tampered subsidy, I guess u will tell me there were no robbers, same thing happened in 2013.
IGP rated it as safest but dèàd bodîes were found in rivers, that's how safe it was.
The fact that police was not recording cases that made IGP prètènd that it was the safest doesn't mean sh*ts were not going down because all of sh*ts went down.
Hijacking of properties such as phones, tablets as well as system was the other of the day, the cultists moving in the institutions went where exactly?
Below are just two pictures from the very peaceful Anambra under Obi.
He picked the governor job and didn't achieve anything to solve basic probIems in Anambra.
That's why u ignored all I listed right?

Ordinary roads you don't have in Ogun state. Mention an infrastructure by the government you're boasting of in Ogun, SW Nigeria.

Once again, just like all of you Igbophobic bigots, you've proven to be unintelligent.

The few infrastructures in the region were erected by the people, compared to your own region where the biased federal government does the work for you.

How many of those infrastructures in your region were constructed by your state governments or individuals?
How much FG allocation does the southeastern states receive individually and as a whole, compared to what goes into your region??
What have your state achieve personally with its huge allocations?

It's good you listed these things by yourself so that tomorrow you won't be senseless enough to ask why IPOB is agitating or to label them as terrorists the way your bigoted and hate-filled leaders do, instead of the secessionists you've forced them to be.

And if you want the Igbos to stop coming to your region to benefit from the FG investments therein, then tell your FG to replicate same in the southeast, let's see who will migrate to your hate-filled region.

Why would any Igbo man go to Lagos to clear his goods if he could do so within the region?
Why would i go to a lagos i detest so much to make use of the international airport if there were one at Owerri??
So there's a place to build a sea port in SE now?
The presidents who shût down the sea port closest to u are same presidents u give standing ovation as the best (OBJ , Yar'adua and GEJ) yet u bIame FG?
The presidents u detèst the most are the ones opening same seaport, the president u detèst the most gave ur region 2nd Niger bridge, paid 13% derivation which ur governors swallowed, at least two states from SE collected that allocation, what did they do with it?
You state government and local government receive billions every month and squander it, it's their responsibility to provide basic amenities such as water, they cañ't provide but u will bIame FG for it, now they are not receiving enough?
Did u check the list of FG allocation at all?

Why are your region and the allied north destroying the country??

History won't forget that, even if you keep shifting attention by listing the names the Igbos themselves don't like.

The Igbos will never bring out people like Chimaroke, Orji Kalu, Ikpeazu, Obiano, Ekweremadu, etc, to rule Nigeria, in sharp contrast to you insensitive bigots who bring out the worst from amongst you to destroy the country.
But lgb0s brought Obi to come and rule Nigerîà?

The country entails SE.

U guys don't hàvè pipeborne water which is the sole responsibility of SE governors, all ur messiah combined can't provide water for u but it's more convenient to bIame others for it.
