This is no longer about Obi but about the Nigerian people about our democracy, if you think people are going to shut up then think again unless you want to say this is a dictatorship, even in countries with refined leadership opposition criticism is evident in nearly every action of the ruling party What's absent in those countries are baseless criticisms like u folks are doing here. 2 Likes |

And now you are even doing the wrong thing and wailing, yes that's the beauty of democracy, we Are IGBO NATION and with our allies we are playing opposition as long as this questionable government last so chill no pity from here. Jontaman: It's undisputable that anybody that call himself president could remove the subsidy but Tinubu was rather fast in doing so without first and foremost, caution the effects it will bring to the masses/electorates. It's wrong. Did u follow the budget from before? We all knew it was going to be removed by June. U are making it about Tinubu because he reminded us yesterday? U want him to rewrite the Budget? U think the marketers are not aware? Sometimes we have to be realistic tho. Peter Obi, Atiku or Kwankwaso whoever won, cañ't do anything about it rather than forging ahead. |

Indeed. Many Nigerians are bigoted sadists happy to cut there own nose to spite their face.
Fuel subsidy is one of the biggest organised crime in our Country impoverishing and underdeveloping Nigeria.
To that end, progressive Nigerians should be behind the Government bearing the burden of it's removal even if said Government is led by the devil.
That this is not the case for many, as we can see on this thread, is why I think restructuring and regional autonomy must complement all that Tinubu's plans to do.
The tribalistic, bigoted and anti-progress bitching of Nigerians is too much. All because someone they hate, due to their ethno-religious and sectional background, is in power.
Let us have regional autonomy so everyone can go and have control over the socio-economic direction of their own regions with their own homogenous people and needs.
That will be a progressive departure to what obtains currently where Nigerians are a people now totally incapable of pulling together, as we are seeing on this thread, in one progressive direction .
My advice to Tinubu is that he must not get comfortable with 'one Nigeria' as, for example, many Presidents in the past got used to the existence of fuel subsidy when they had pledged to remove it before gaining power.
Restructuring and the regional commissions he pledged must come on board within 6 months of his reign. We need to bring back patriotism and productively healthy competition into how Nigerians think and operate.
Only full restructuring and regional autonomy, where we all feel fully vested in the affairs and progress of our region, is the way forward.
U are right, completely. During the campaigns I saw Obidents posting on WhatsApp status how much is spent daily on fuel subsidy and how it's arméd róbbèry and Obi is coming to remove it immediately. Yesterday, I saw same people posting that it's a wróñg move. For Godsake what's this hypôcrîsy all about. |

People like me are why you can afford phones Peope like me are the reason you can use internet Bloody socialist
Market forces don't care about your emotions , Humans would take advantage of anything to give themselves an edge as long as there is no consequence
If I was your president , I would through nnpc acquire 50 filling stations minimum in every city even if it's 6 months lease agreement
Secure tankers that can service them even tho it's 6 months lease
Store enough fuel that would service them for 3 months minimum with an order for another 6 months worth of fuel
The remove subsidy use those filling stations to kick start the market forces
But na you and your president are socialist and don't care about market forces smh Then what happens after the 3 months? The effects will still set in from grèèdy foIks like u. It's not market fórcès, it's grèèdy folks like u not market fórcès. I used a Mobile network called Mtel in a phone called Nokia 3310. Do u even know Mtel? How old were u then? Do u own Airtel, because I use their internet services. It's the other way round, people like us are the reason u cañ àffórd a meal. Is it not same u guys dràggîñg people to the kiosks u sell ur phones just so he can patronize u? U come online as one of the inconsequential mûIé in a long chain of service provision and think that "people like me are the reason u can use phone, people like me are the reason u are can àffórd internet". NaijaReCrminals: Don't mind those haters who don't want the progress of their country. Nigeria cannot afford to subsidize fuel for the rich and it's about time we did the right thing if we really want a true change. My happiness is that Buhari, the economic terrorist is gone forever and will never rule Nigeria again. We all know anybody who won this election was going to remove subsidy. Buhari who can't actually control the effects of removing it was scarèd of doing it and did it to take effect when he has left office. Obi was going to remove, same as Atiku, now Obi's followers are complaining because it was removed. 1 Like 1 Share |
