braveboi4life: Buhari has been demystified. We had to sacrifice 8 years of our country's life for such a deceptive, failed from-the-start-experiement.
As Minister of Petroleum, he supervised the eating of yams and waste in NNPC, he didn't care about fuel scarcity affecting Nigerians and couldn't maintain our refineries to increase production capacity but went about yesterday celebrating Dangote refinery.
That man should be arrested.
Tear the fraudulent illegal Abuja Peace Accord document that prohibits current presidents from prosecuting ex-presidents and arrest Buhari now! The issue with hypôcrîtes is that they crûcîfy others for same thing they defèñd who they like about. So the presidents u celebrate made the refineries to be functioning? |

When Igbos massively voted Jonathan, it wasn't bad politics But when Igbos massively vote their own whom majority of Nigerians support, it then becomes bad politics because when everyone hates you, you must hate yourself as well. Nonesene. The majority of Nîgeriàns supporting Obi happens to be lgb0s. U simply voted u backed. Meanwhile shehu shagari didn't get 15% votes in lgb0 land, how u massively voted him still baffles me. Second Niger bridge is for Nigerians, not for Igbo people only. The cost of materials most Igbo people use went up because 216 naira to a dollar is 780 naira today. Small bridge can't hide the fact that Buhari destroyed the economy.
Democracy is about choice not putting eggs in different baskets. Stop blackmailing people over their choices. If we doñ't play container economics like Obi was planning to come and do, we won't be relying on dollars for the price of everything in our market. |

SpecialAdviser: Ngige the big monkey. Who is playing bad politics if not you and your fellow efulefu so called Igbos leaders? Nobody cares about you guys.
All we care is the seasoned responsible man in Peter Obi which we presented to Nigeria and they came together to vote him. He won and was denied victory by INEC and the power that be which you and your fellow useless Igbo leaders belong. You guys are afraid of the personality that he presents. The very personality that will threaten your evil looting. But we are so happy about his candidancy. He has asked to be verified and all of you failed to verify any evil against him. We Igbos are very proud to present such a man at a time you can barely have such around Nigeria.
It gives us joy that we have shown that we are a people that goes with integrity. This is despite some people comfortably backing a drug lord. We are a sophisticated and complexly unique people who would rather die standing with righteousness than the unrighteous. It really makes us proud.
I will rather lose doing the right than win doing the wrong thing.. Peter Obi
For you to be called the excellency, the procedure that produces you must be excellent Peter Obi

What can be done to improve Nigeria, everything listed above has direct link with Nigeria economy. This list was provided by group of Zulus based in Durban. zhike: As per United Nations statistics, not all Nigerians have ID numbers. Check report from UN.
If all Nigerians have IDs, it means Nigerians IDs are not up to standard So the NIN saga that just happened with sim cards is a joke? U said Nigèriàñs should be patriotic yet you don't show patriotism, u will choose what a western association that doñ't care about u say rather than what ur góvèrñment says. A publication by world bank says about 52% of Nîgeriàns live in Urban areas, also 37% of Nîgeriàns have internet access. Do these statistics rhyme? zhike: in South Africa specifically in Cape Town less than 50 people get killed by Gang violence in a year. again we cannot talk about statistics because Nigeria does not have proper stats. for example we don't know the exact population number of Nigeria, because of Nigerians don't have ID numbers. The idea that Nigèria don't have proper statistics, do u have statistics to back it up or u just assume Nigèria doñ't have própèr statistics? U accepted the statistics that 133m Nîgeriàns are living in póverty right? But u won't accept the statistics that 155m Nîgeriàns have internet access? |

zhike: My friend do not argue with the facts, accept reality and try to deal with it. Most of the Nigerians dreams is to go abroad for green pastures and it needs to change.
For example how many Nigerians watch Nigerian soccer league compared to EPL.
Nigerians mindset needs to change, and the first thing to do is to accept the problem Most Nîgeriàns don't dream of going abroad. Most Nîgeriàns just like every hûmañ being on earth wants to travel and see places not going to stay abroad. I for one has ÑÈVÈR harboured the dream of going to live in Europe, America or any other part of Africa. Comparing football leagues is another lame form of statistics. Do u know the quantity of Americans that watch EPL as compared to their MLS? Does that mean they want to leave America? Brazilians watch their league with passion does that mean Brazil is far better than England? Sports development is d difference. |

JASONjnr: Op, Nothing can be done.
You can't vote corrupt politicians into power and expect them to fight the same people who gave him power.
You can't bite the fingers that fed you.
The reason why Tinubu is turning his back on Ganduje this early is because he did little or nothing to give him the expected votes from Kano state. And that's what would've played out if we voted a neutral person to lead this country without the support of the little fraction of the corrupt politicians.
We have "hell-years" to endure and to enjoy the suffering. No country where voting takes place ever has a leader that don't have the backing of oligarchs, cabals and powers that be, u all need to understand politics. U think Obi can become the Nîgeriàn prèsîdéñt by teIIing petty Iîes to the màssés? |
Politics › Re: Nigerians Mindset By South Africans by JagabanBorgu: 11:21pm On May 23, 2023 |
Immatex: You shouldn't blame a Nigerian who prefers "the abroad" than Nigeria.
I am happier living here in the UK than Nigeria because unlike people in the UK, Nigerian have no faith, no confidence in the government and it's institutions. The government on the other hand do not care to build confidence in their citizens but are exploitative and oppressive.
Worst is the known fact that Nigeria and Nigerians are corrupt to the superlative degree. Since law and order are selective, money and the rich worshipped and a wide disparity exist between the rich and the poor, situations like the ones you listed will only continue.
In fact, I have got better things to do than discuss Nigeria! But u come on Nairaland everyday? When u guys talk u give the feeling that the UK góvèrñment is a bunch of saint that gives the people alot of hope whereas reality is that many people crîtîcîze the government on daily basis. If u can't discuss Nigèria u shouldn't be on Nairaland. |

They may not even understand the message being sent to the western dominated global news channels with penchant for always announcing only the dark side of Africa. yet they are the most intelligent beings that ever graced the green planet according to some nitwits.
The clown who went to study energy use in Egypt for 3 days was asked a very simple question about green energy, instead of simply saying he knew nothing about green energy, the semi illiterate started murmuring some inaudible sounds like female monkey.
