Natty111: Thanks a lot , for your replies. Hello, I would like to comment on this topic of yours. For me, between geology and physiotherapy.....I would beg you to choose, Physiotherapy. I, myself....I studied Geology(Geophysics option) and on coming out.....even in the ministry where my dad worked as a MD....I couldn't see a job. You might be lucky as a Geologist/Geophysicist to get a high paying job.....but I repeat, you might be lucky. I had to switch to working in an Electrical company(someone who studied geology). For a physiotherapist, you get your pay daily...and you can be seeing as many people as you would have the strength to and make you cool cash.....as a private individual...... |

Kamsi99: Hello House,
WHICH CONDITION IS BETTER? Please my brother is trying to come to canada via study route. He has gotten admission for a PGC and first term tuition paid by sponsor (Uncle). We asked our uncle to please deposit 8k usd equivalent to 10k cad into his dom account for one year living expenses just to make his application very convincing, when his visa is approved he will return the money to him.
However my uncle refused to deposit such money in my brother’s account with the only condition that the Dom account must have two signatures ( my brother and one other of his children) just to make sure his money his safe. The VO I believe will frown at this because they will think the money is not readily available to my brother since he is not the only signatory.
We thought about another alternative, now we found a money lender who is willing to deposit such money in my brother’s account with the condition that he will put the account on lien! Is this an issue too? Has anyone successfully used a lien account? Please which option or condition is better for his situation.
Your opinions will be highly appreciated You can lien the money.....I used it too, and I got my visa approved. The money is still in your account but just that it is not withdrawable at the time duration u put it for. |

He has to come with a consent form from IRCC sign by you and also come with his passport(any valid means of identification), your National Identity card, your biodata page that was acknowledged when you submitted and maybe proof of payment. |

InnoReborn: Hi Guys, quick question. My PPR dropped on Friday but my agent has not been able to book appointment with VFS for my passport submission.
He said it is busy right now and suggested that I go to the cafes at the VFS office and try.
What do you guys think. The 30 day period to get the passport to the embassy has already started counting and it is giving me anxiety. https://www.vfsglobal.ca/IRCC-AppointmentWave1/Account/RegisteredLogin?ReturnUrl=%2fIRCC-AppointmentWave1%2fHome%2fIndex You can also book by yourself and go to the VFS centre yourself when you have gotten a date for submission. Like mine, I got appointment for passport submission the following day after I was asked to come submit my passport. |

ItzRay: Its PPR guys!!! Ahhhhh!!! SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 😃
I just checked my email and saw a message from IRCC. I logged into my account and behold PPR sitting pretty since Saturday but I didn’t know it has dropped. I nearly jumped up at work as i saw it. 😩😂 This is my second application, I applied through the new portal and did both first and second applications myself through the grace of God, with informations I gathered here and other places of research. First application was submitted on 29th November 2021 and was refused 4th April 2022 (After 5months of waiting). I was sad and demoralized but I didn’t give up. Sponsor was my Uncle in my first application. I didn’t really submit enough documents cos I didn’t know much about it then so i decided to recall bk my tuition fee deposit from my school, it was refunded i now calmed down and researched more about it before I reapplied again this year after i felt i have gathered enough information and documents. My admission is for Winter 2024 (January 2024) and its a 2year diploma.
My Timeline for second and final application;
Upfront Medical: 22 May 2023 with QLife Family Clinic in Lagos (I almost got lost that day trying to locate the place lol). Application submittion: September 23, 2023. Background Check: Started after submission and still ongoing. Medical Passed: 27 October 2023 Eligibility Review: Still ongoing too (Dunno what else they’re checking though Lol) BVL: 28 October 2023, 8:58pm PPR: 28 October, 9:00pm My application took 1 month and 5days.
Documents Submitted: APPLICANT DOCUMENTS -Letter of Acceptance from my school. -Co-Op work placement/internship letter from my school. -SOP and letter of explanation for my first visa refusal (both were 17 pages, i practically wrote my whole life out lol). -My International passport data page -My birth certificate -My C.V -WAEC certificate -My N.D and HND statement of results -HND transcript -NYSC Certificate -My CAC business certificate (Economic/Home ties) -Deed of gifts of my inherited landed properties from my father before his demise. (Personal/Economic Ties) -Notarized Affidavit of inheritance -Pictures of the properties -My internship training certificate with my former company -My safety training certificates and certificates of membership with them. -E-Medical slip from QLife -National Identity Document slip -My covid-19 full vaccination card -Pictures of me at work
SPONSORSHIP DOCUMENTS; Sponsor is my blood elder brother. -First semester full tuition deposit from flywire and paid by my sponsor to show commitment to my studies. -Data page of sponsor’s international passport -Birth certificate showing same surname with me. -6 months bank statement of account -Reference letter from sponsor’s bank -Letter of appointment -6months pay slip -Pension statements -Income tax certificate -Screenshots of sponsor’s previous financial supports to me. -Pictures of I and sponsor
FAMILY DOCUMENTS; -Birth certificates of my mum and all my siblings (home tie) -Family photographs -Death certificate of my late father and his burial pictures. -CAC Family business certificate which i am a co-director (home tie).
This is my little way of saying thank you and giving back to this wonderful family. I told God with faith i was going to sing “see what the Lord has done” before the end of this year and it has come to pass so above all pray o cos its only but the Grace of God that makes it possible. I wish everyone waiting and those about to apply success in their application. See y’all in the maple land. SEE WHAT THE LORD HAS DONE!!! Congratulations to you Bro..... I tap into your testimony oooh.... I am still waiting for collection of passport and my visa to join the plane ooooh |
