SCRIPTURE: “Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;” – Ephesians 6:18 (KJV).

Human beings are faced with all kinds of wars from their conception all through to the day they leave this earth. Genesis 38:27 says that when a woman is in labour, she is travailing. After she puts to bed, the child begins to confront all kinds of enemies – known and unknown. In Matthew 10:36, Jesus Christ Himself said a man’s foes will be they of his own household. If the Lord showed you all the relatives and family friends who wanted you to die in infancy, it would surprise you, but thank God you survived.

When we talk about household enemies, it could be your father or even your mother. If you don’t believe that parents can be their child’s enemies, read Genesis 27, where you will see how a mother plotted against her own son and Open Heaven Daily Devotional April 2 2023

Christianity EtcOpen Heaven Daily Devotional December 30 2022: Never Provoke God by Jakes122(op): 9:30am On Dec 30, 2022
SCRIPTURE: It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. Hebrews 10:31

The greatest mistake anyone can ever make in life is to provoke the Almighty God. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is love. He is not just a loving God, He is love personified, but Hebrews 12:29 also says He is a consuming fire.

Every coin has two sides. On one side of God, you have love – love so great that He gave His only begotten Son for our sake. On the other side, however, He is a consuming fire. Thus when you hear of people who talk about God as love only, about grace 100% of the time and nothing more, stay away from them.

God is indeed kind, merciful, and loving, but don’t mess with Him because He is a consuming fire. If He loves you specially and you fool around with Him, He will deal with you. The word of God made it clear in Hebrews 12:6 “For whom the Lord loveth he... Open Heaven Daily Devotional December 30 2022

SCRIPTURE: And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the LORD my God of that which doth cost me nothing. So David bought the threshingfloor and the oxen for fifty shekels of silver. 2 Samuel 24:24.

In our Bible text for today, we read about a widow who gave her all and the Lord Jesus was very impressed with her. He said she gave more than others even though what she gave was not as much as theirs.

Many people, when they want to be miserly, will take that story and say, This is my widows mite. They are deceiving themselves because I will tell them, firstly, you are not a widow. Secondly, you are not giving your all. It is when you have given your... Read More Open Heaven Devotionals For Today

The theme for today’s Joyce Meyer daily Devotional December 2 2022 is ”The Beauty of Faith”

I see more clearly than ever before how simple and beautiful faith is and how self-effort complicates life and steals peace and joy. Man’s mind plans his own way (see Proverbs 16:9), but God’s ways are much higher than ours and they always work better (see Isaiah 55:9). I have finally learned that whenever I feel frustrated, it almost always indicates that I have trusted myself to do what only God can do. It is my signal to return to full faith in God and once again enjoy His peace.

Apart from faith we cannot please God (see Hebrews 11:6), and apart from Him, we can do nothing (see John 15:5). If you are worried or feel burdened by anything, I urge you to let it go and return to simple faith in God without delay. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall ... The theme for “Open Heaven Daily Devotional November 22 2022 is ”Stop Flattering People”

SCRIPTURE: The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things – Psalm 12:3 (KJV)

To flatter someone is to give excessive and insincere praise to the person, especially to further your own interests. Flattery is one of the weapons with which the devil destroys people.

This means that the fellow who flatters is one of the agents of the devil in destroying people. Every time you flatter someone, you are working for the devil’s interest to bring down the fellow. Thus if you want to be an agent of the devil, you can go on flattering people. God however, does not tolerate agents of darkness. Psalm 12:3 says:

The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things:

If you keep flattering, you are inviting the Lord to ...Open Heaven Daily Devotional November 22 2022

SCRIPTURE: And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul – Acts 19:11 (KJV)

Beyond making you a wonder, God can decide to use you as a vessel through whom He will be doing wonders on earth. This is one thing every believer should pursue. In Acts 5:12-16, the Bible tells us about the great wonders that God performed through the apostles and how He even healed the sick through Peter’s shadow. If the shadow of a man begins to heal the sick, definitely that man has become a vessel for wonders.

If you want to become a vessel for wonders, you will have to really deny yourself of many things. Apostle Paul was without any doubt a vessel for wonders because his handkerchiefs and aprons worked miracles. 1 Corinthians 10:23 says:

All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

SCRIPTURE: And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light (Genesis 1:2-3).

When you read the Psalms, you’d notice that David knew the value of words, and he taught his son, Solomon, the same. It was Solomon who said, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue…” (Proverbs 18:21). David his father taught him that. David knew that death and life weren’t in the power of the sword; they’re in the power of the tongue. And he proved it when he confronted Goliath of Gath. You need to understand how he defeated Goliath.

It’s easy to think that he defeated Goliath with a smooth stone and a sling. But no; it was with words! Study the account in 1 Samuel 17. He was sure of defeating Goliath because he put his faith in words. He used the tools as guided by the wisdom of God. SCRIPTURE: The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat. -Proverbs 13:4 (KJV)

Many people assume that God blessing them means that money will just suddenly fall in their laps. That is not true. If you want things to get better, then as God opens doors, you also need to work diligently.

A few years ago, I gave someone an assignment in January which he could have completed in 3 months. My plan was to give him another as soon as he completed the first. However, as at September, he was still struggling to finish. There was no way I would give him another. God had opened doors of financial blessings to him, but he refused to be diligent so he only got the blessing from one door.

On the other hand, there was a son of mine who would always ask me to pray for him to have a breakthrough whenever he saw me and I always obliged him. One day I received a letter from him saying he had gotten a big contract. When I saw the amount, I believed he must have mistakenly added more zeros than the actual value. I thought he ... The Word of God plainly tells us that we will reap what we sow. This principle applies to every area of our lives, including the way we treat others. Our attitudes and words are seeds we sow each day that determine what kind of fruit or harvest we’ll have in our relationships.

The devil loves to keep us busy thinking selfishly, sowing words of strife in our families, and thinking negatively about others. He wants us to sow bad seed.

Let me ask you: What are you sowing today? With God’s help, make the choice to sow love, forgiveness, kindness, and patience in every relationship and situation. You’ll find that as ....Joyce Meyer Daily Devotional November 12 2022

SCRIPTURE: Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession ''Psalm 2:8.''

The Message translation of our theme verse says, “What do you want? Name it: Nations as a present? continents as a prize?” I first came across this verse when I was 15 years of age, and I prayed to the Lord according to this scripture. In response, the Spirit of the Lord said to me, “I’ve given you the nations!”

At that tender age, I was concerned about the abysmal state of the unbelievers in the nations of the world; they’re in spiritual darkness and alienated from the life of God. They’re hopeless and without God in the world. So, I got the world map (atlas), and many times, I’d place my hands on it, speaking and prophesying over the nations of the world and over men’s lives.

I travailed in prayer for the needy people of the world. I’d pray and cry, broken before the Lord. Oh, how I wept in prayer for the nations of the world! Ever since, I knew that not one nation could shut its doors against me. Today, the Lord is doing many great things through us in the...Rhapsody Of Realities November 12 2022

SCRIPTURE: John 17:24 ‘Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.’

God the Father had the plan of salvation worked out before He even created the world. Most of us would not have created the world and man if we knew the heartache and terrible sacrifice it would cost. But God is not man. In His judgment (which is the correct judgment) the prize was worth the cost.

We were chosen in Christ before the world began. THEME: Root and Fruit

SCRIPTURE: But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.
Galatians 5:22-23

Every gardener knows two things: The fruit depends on the root, and fruit happens naturally—fruit cannot be “willed” to appear. “Root” refers to the kind of plant it is—tomato, squash, bean, or other plant. Plants naturally produce their own kind of fruit, not the fruit of a different plant. And healthy plants naturally produce their fruit; it cannot be forced to appear.

In spiritual terms, the New Testament speaks of both root and fruit. In Colossians 2:7, Paul wrote that we are “rooted and built up in [Christ].” In other words, we are in Christ, born again to become different beings than we were before. In plant terms, whatever fruit Christ produced in His life, we should reproduce in our... David Jeremiah Daily Devotional November 1 2022

THEME: Fear Not II

1 John 4:18 (KJV) “There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”

One of the many beautiful things about the love of Christ is that it banishes fear. When you encounter God’s love and bask in it, nothing will scare you. What the devil does with fear isthat he uses it to torment and rob people of experiencing the love of God.

Fear torments; it tells you that you cannot do something when The Most High God has said that you can do anything through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Responding to the question, Pastor David Jeremiah wrote on instagram :

Today’s prophecy question comes from Phyllis on Instagram. Phyllis was wondering:

Q: When I die, will I go directly to heaven or will I wait until the Rapture?

A: Before the Ascension of Christ, the souls of believers went to an intermediate heaven called “Paradise” when they died. But when Jesus ascended after His death, He went into Paradise and took its inhabitants – all the Old Testament saints – with Him to the third heaven (Ephesians 4:8-10).

In other words, believers no longer pass through the intermediate heaven upon death. The soul and spirit of today’s believers go immediately to the..... Read More Dr. David Jeremiah Prophetic Answers
