He is breastfed. I only stopped taking tea. The wetness of his diaper is the same.
Sometimes, his poo doesnt smell but this evening own smelled but not too badly. He isnt losing weight.

My baby is approaching 7 weeks and poo everytime he feeds and its kinda watering and has whitish kind of seed in it, sometimes its foamy. Im tired of it joor. Its 9 days since it started.

Sometimes, just when he sneezes or farts, little poo will jump out.

Your baby look normal to me. The poo pattern(seedlike and co) are normal for his age. I guess he is breast fed..huh? Do you change your diet recently? How wet is his diaper during his routine diaper change? Is it same wetness or there is reduction in the urine soaked diaper?

I assume the poo isn't overtly smelly and the baby weight isn't reduced.

There are ways to do it.... Wen u request for palm oil sludge, get d one with as little water as possible. SLUDGE.... dats d key word.

Having said that I will like to point out some disturbing trend i notice. Those who come here to learn rely on whatever info that's shared and most are putting in lots of cash, some even use loan or retirement benefits. in as much as you disseminate info, its pertinent not to give info you aren't sure of because the end is disaster. How can you argue out that sludge can be of useful value to fish feed? Sludge is sludge and it has no other definition. Its like feeding 2months fishes with PKC. The end will be disaster. Do you even know why oil is added to fish feed atall? Which oil processing company will leave its palm oil inside the sludge? NONE unless you own the coy because its a loss, its like saying palm kernel processing coys allows considerable oil inside pkc.
You also saying you can add 10l of sludge to 100kg of feed!!!! Where is that practised? Even the recommend oil which is fish oil, its half a litre to 100kg of feed. even during pelleting,you can not add 2 litre of water not to talk of sludge. Hmmmm

I'm not trying to spoil your show here because you are one of the top contributors on the thread and sincerely, you have put in lots of effort. As you can see, I do not interfere with your show on here as the last time I was here was around 5 months ago.I just mistakenly stumble on the thread again 3 days ago. Cat fish farming has gone from that level you are operating and people are really looking forward to cash out considerable sum after 5 or 6 months. Who will want to raise 2000 pcs of fish and at the end of 5 months get a profit of 100k or less!! What kind of income is that considering the stress, resources and time put in.

We are all learners in an open forum like this but we should be mindful of the kind of suggestion we dole out because some1 savings is involved. Thank you

Oga Belexy thanks for the knowledge you've been sharing. I beg to disagree with the above quote, 10ltr of palm oil sludge or any liquid substance to 100kg feed will be too much. The feed will be too watery even for the peleting machine.

Pple av used dem as ingredients with fantastic results. Palm oil is expensive and dats d reason why palm oil sludge is used. 10L in 100kg feed is ideal.

We all have definition of fantastic, so I won't sweat that out with you. Lol..how can a substitute which is 94% water give a fantastic result? Funny. Well for those for want to know..mollases or palm oil is a better substitute to fish oil. They are both cheaper too. Molases is 30naira per litre and 1 litre to 100kg of fish feed is fantastic.

They are ingredients but not good for fishes. Doesn't give optimum growth and makes fishes prone to diseases. So don't encourage it. There are better substitutes

By palm oil sludge do you mean the effluent? POME? It contains just 1% oil and over 94% of water oooo..why not use palm oil itself?

The last time i sold, i sold to a fresh 'iya eleja'. it is worthy to note here that i dont sell to retaliers who buy less than 2 tonnes.. so any iya eleja that comes to farm is a big woman.
they like to bully you with the announcement of their presence( they arrive with 2 buses and plenty basins. they also have numerous staffs they)

they do not like to buy at farmer price. they like to buy at their own price, this is because they are 'hot cakes' in the industry, i.e plenty farmers are seeking them to sell to. the tactics they use here to first downgrade your product and make it seem they are not too healthy.

They will want to do fish sorting themselves.. this is where they rip off most farmers. how can you allow fish retailers to sort fishes for you?

i know you will be wondering the simple trick i use for them..huh?

I simply sort and put my fishes in a forwarding tank or concrete pond. this way the iya eleja's dont enter my farm and they only buy what i have sorted out. ofcourse we must have discussed the size and tonnage before they come over. dont wait for them to get to your farm before you sort your fishes out.

There is more and probably the biggest trick, i will share them in due course... waiting to hear your fish sales stories

Invest in cat fish farming..although with your 1million, you do be starting small since you do not have facilities yet. If you can be patient,study, study terrain and be disciplined, your 1 million will double in no time.

You will have to try to force the drug for her. Try talk to some elderly women around you to show you how to gag down drugs for baby.its very important she takes the drugs.i suscribe to this than force feesing.since she has been administered drugs,she will be fine.the cough and catarrh are prolly teething signs and i think thats why the doc didnt prescribe anything.

What's the distance btw the bed and the floor? If its up to 4 feet, pray to God it wasn't the head he use to impact the floor! Only a miracle will protect him from a condition I wldnt want to put here. The symptoms are not immediate but later when he's growing, so don't feel relaxed if you didn't notice any harm now. You must have been a deep sleeper for you not to have noticed your 1 month old baby fell cos he's gonna cry.

Take him to see a consultant paed for full examination esp blood clot( once you mention clot paed knows the area to check).

Also, if you can afford a baby cot, pls get one. Its risky sleeping with a baby on the same bed for fear of suffocation esp for deep sleepers or you put your mattress on the floor. Good luck to you

Please advise me. My baby also suddenly stopped taking her cereals, but she takes adult meals, her formula and BM. She also runs mild temperature every once a while. It all started 2weeks ago when she had very high temperature. I gave her paracetamol and wen it persisted I gave her Lonart antimalaria. She became better bt after abt 4 days d temp started again and this time with cough and catarrgh. So I took her to d hosp. We ran test and they discovered malaria and mild infection. So she was given malaria injection for 3days. She was also given flagyl and sefzitil suspension. Bt she always vomits d sefzitil. She's fine now except for d on and off temperature(not high) and the cough and catarrgh.
Kindly advise on what to do. Is it because she didn't take d sefzitil? Can u recommend another antibiotics to perform d function of d sefzitil. Why did she suddenly stop the cereals she used to like a lot?
A lot of questions running through my mind. I really want her temp to go back to normal

How old is your baby and has she started teething? And do you mean cefprozil(cefzril). If yes, its a broad based antibiotics used for treating bacteria. You ought to have found a means to make her use it, as underdosage will have a side effect. The bacteria will come back stronger and maybe become resistant to the drug
