This journalist writes from Lokoja, yet couldn't get the facts right.

I went to the scene. It was 14 passengers dead, 4 seriously injured. It is the total number of passengers in the vehicle that is 50.

The passengers were made to lie down on the side/shoulder of the road by the robbers. It was another oncoming vehicle that did not know that people were lying down there that crushed the passengers while trying to escape from the robbers.

It was really a gory sight. May the souls of the departed rest in peace.
