^^^But we were not told the loc thy bought it from. Moreover, there was no official police permit for the transaction. How are we sure it was not a fast one to cover up the whole story? I don't trust this our police o. Papers can be produced under 2 minutes to make the transaction genuine. That is why many things are wrong because we live in an era of "decieve me, I decieve you, God no go vex". One thing I believe is whosoever diggeth a pit, same shall fall in it. |

Not only in the police force, we have them as civilians, military, paramilitary, SSS, senators, House Of Rep members and even as governors. Some of them are even on NL, seriously. |
No doubt about this. Many saboteurs are in the system. |

Anyone watching GU go down?Yea, I'm with you. GU is sitting on 1.6100 for now ready to breakout. |
Another reason why this Boko Haram are operating with some level of ease is that our military and security personnel are using the opportunity to make money. There are several occasions where these criminals are arrested by the junior ranks and handed over to their superiors. Sadly, the arrested crooks are released by the superior officers after collecting settlement. Hence the junior ranks have joined in getting settlements and letting the bombings go on. This is what I will call "Who is a fool syndrome", if not who is Boko Haram to dare the military? We really need to look at the issue of corruption in government particularly from the highest echelon if we desire professionalism from our military and security agencies. |
Do you see the present crop of NLC leaders as those who have the interest of Nigerians at heart? They are a bunch of "settle us now or we mobilise against you" eediots. Do their appearance look like those fighting for the masses? Whenever you hear them shouting, know that they have not been settled. Nonsense. ![]() |
Wow! I have seen various indicators used on this forum and to tell the truth, I have tons of indicators too. Yet, trading forex profitably still elude some of us. What is the problem? ![]() May the pips be with us. |
Read the latest arms and explosive seizure in ABUJA here: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-713952.0.html Is there any hope that this will not go the way of the previous ones? Till then. ![]() |
You see! This is what I was saying, that Boko Haram has sympathizers and agents within the military and other security agencies that is why there are confident of themselves. I will not be surprised that some highly placed persons will develop interest in this case, lobbying with the aim of freeing the policemen, the consignment, and even the sponsors. Nigeria is in trouble o. ![]() |
In addition, where are all the seized arms in Lagos (shipload of arms), Jos (Trailer load of explosives), Maiduguri (Carload of arms), Kano (Planeload of arms) and even the Niger Delta (militant surrendered arms)? Can the fed govt give accurate account of whereabouts of these arms and explosives? ![]() |
Ok o. I won't say eureka until I see positive result from the probe. |

"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."" ![]() -- Lewis Carroll, author |
For where? Wait a minute, I don't know if I'm the only that observed the huge size, potbellied and oily faces of the so-call leaders of the NLC on NTA while issuing their 3 day warning strike to the fed govt over the minimum wage issue. Was that their physique before they came to that office? I doubt o. ![]() These group of NLC chieftains seem to be worse than the Lawmakers you are expecting them to go against. Do you know whether they have collected "appreciation envelopes" from the lawmakers? Did you observe the vigour with which they fought the military intended withdrawal from PENCOM, you think they did that without collecting "roger" from PENCOM and the PFAs? As far as I am concern, NLC is another biz group who fights for their interests first and leave the remnant to the masses. |
The issue of dealing with the BokoHaram sect is tough because they have members in our military and security agencies. If you doubt me, how did the poster up there get the pix of gov Nyako and his girlfriend in Nyako's private jet?. Gov Nyako watch your back! ![]() |
